Alien Genes: Scientists discover that parts of our DNA do not come from our ancestors

Humans contain ‘alien’ genes not passed on from our ancestors, researchers have discovered. Scientists have discovered parts of our DNA which are not traced back to any known human ancestor.

A research has shown that mankind has, what appear to be ‘alien genes’, that were not passed to our species by any known human ancestor in the distant past, proposing that mankind acquired these genes in the distant past when different organisms (microorganisms) cohabited the same environment. This finding challenges the paradigm of animal evolution based on genes passed only through direct ancestral lines.

The study has been published in the scientific open access journal Genome Biology and focuses on the horizontal gene transfer —between people of the same temporarily environment.

The authors of the study firmly challenge conventional views of evolution based solely on genes transmitted through ancestral lines (vertically), suggesting that, at least in some lineages, the process is still ongoing.

The transfer of genes between organisms living in the same environment is called horizontal gene transfer (HGT). This process is well known in unicellular organisms and is thought to be an important process that explains how quickly bacteria, for example, develop resistance to antibiotics.

‘This is the first study to show how widely horizontal gene transfer (HGT) occurs in animals, including humans, giving rise to tens or hundreds of active ‘foreign’ genes,’ said lead author Alastair Crisp from the University of Cambridge.

‘Surprisingly, far from being a rare occurrence, it appears that HGT has contributed to the evolution of many, perhaps all, animals and that the process is ongoing, meaning that we may need to re-evaluate how we think about evolution.’

HGT is believed to play an important role in the evolution of some animals, including nematode worms that have acquired genes from other microorganisms and plants, and even beetles which researchers believed acquired bacterial genes to produce enzymes for the digestion of coffee berries.

However it ahs been widely questioned and debated that HGT occurs in more complex animals, like humans.

In the new study, scientists were able to confirm as many as seventeen previously reported genes which are believed to have been acquired by horizontal gene transfer while identifying and additional 128 ‘Alien Genes’ that have not been seen previously.

interestingly in another study, Dr. Eugene M. McCarthy believes Homo sapiens are the result of a hybridization. Dr. McCarthy claims that while humans have numerous similarities with primates, we also have a large number of distinguishing characteristics which are not found in any other primates.

This revolutionary theory changes many things in the scientific community as it urges scholars to look at the origins of life in a completely different way.

In interesting statements, Nobel Prize winning DNA researcher Francis Crick believed that such an intricate and elaborate system (DNA) could not be the result of the process of evolution and that something ‘else’ was behind it all. Crick believed life on Earth was seeded by ‘directed panspermia’. Crick’s revolutionary and controversial theory states that an alien race facing doom wanted to preserve the essence of life and their species and decided to send it to Earth via some sort of spaceship. It is believed that ‘life’ came to Earth via a spaceship and not via a meteor since a ‘space rock’ would be too exposed to radiation for a long period of time, so it is very unlikely that life on Earth began thanks to a space rock crashing into the planet.

All of the above statements suggest that while we are bringing to understand just how complex life as we know it is, we truly have little knowledge about how it became possible and we are still learning piece by piece, what mankind is truly made of.

The predictions were made by Dr Ian Pearson as part of the lead up to The Big Bang Fair 2016. He believes that within the next 35 years, humans will 'live' online, and our pets could even 'talk' to us, like real-life Furbies.

He also claims transhumanism - the idea we can make people technologically better - will be the norm by 2050.

'With optimized genomes and bodies enhanced by links to external technology, people could be more beautiful... more intelligent, more emotionally sophisticated, more physically able, more socially connected, generally healthier and happier all round.'

As humans embrace technological advances and gradually become androids, we could gradually see Homo sapiens being replaced by Homo optimus.

'We can expect our evolutionary process to change in response to technology.'

'What's exciting is that it is no longer nature which is forcing changes on us but our own breakthroughs enabling changes we want, ' Dr Pearson explained.



Futurologist Dr Ian Pearson claims that in the next 35 years, humans will be able to communicate with computers to evolve better senses, memory and even intelligence. Electronic gold skin and tiny implants between cells could enable a direct link with devices, while we could 'wear' muscle too.

WE MAY TURN INTO 'FAIRIES' TO EXPLORE SPACE

Biotech and nanotech developments will make it possible to develop small brains with far greater capabilities, so the rest of the body could be scaled down accordingly.

There are big advantages in being tiny for space travel, Dr Pearson explained, because it is a lot easier to accommodate and transport tiny people.

'It is not frivolous to suggest that most space travelers will be rather like fairies, and wings would make it easy to get around in zero gravity too,' he said.

'This could give rise to some weird and wonderful future forms and creations - from changing video displays on our faces to controlling our own dreams - our (evolving) imaginations are the only limit.'

Dr Pearson believes that with a full link between the human brain and a computer, people could move their mind into an improved android body.

'This would allow people to have multiple existences and identities, or to carry on living long after their biological death,' he wrote in the 'Future Human Report.'

While this technology could be available as soon as in 2050, it may become cheap enough to be widespread by 2070.

Plus, by the end of the century, there will likely be several types of humans, including human-machine hybrids, and people living in android bodies, as well as 'smart creatures'.



Dr Pearson continued that anyone under the age of 40 today will have a good chance of electronic immortality, meaning they could essentially 'upload' their personality so it can continue posting after their death. In the film Transcendence (pictured) the character played by Johnny Depp uploads his consciousness onto a computer.



Research from academics and experts, collated by Dr Pearson for The Big Bang Fair, suggests humans will be able to directly communicate with electronics and we could clone teeth, fix surfaces and edit genes to make them self-replace.

WHAT THE FUTURE COULD LOOK LIKE - FROM SKIN TO MUSCLE TIGHTS

Research from academics and experts collated by Dr Pearson for The Big Bang Fair suggests:

We will be able to connect directly with technology through 'electronic skin' or tiny implants between our skin cells.

Electronic 'support tights' will boost leg strength with wearable polymer gel muscles 1cm thick.

Smudged make-up will be a thing of the past with smart make-up applied on top of a membrane on the skin surface to give a flawless, changeable look.

Nanotechnology will monitor and repair our bodies from the inside, making self-replacing teeth a possibility.

Technology will be used to enhance pets and wildlife, with the potential to hear our pets talk or to increase their IQ, and to create real versions of kids-craze Furbies.

The predictions mean futuristic characters such as Dug the talking dog in Pixar's Up and the human-robot hybrids popular in hit TV shows like Humans could be a reality.

The Big Bang Fair - the UK's largest celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths (Stem) for young people - will give access to technologies shaping these developments, from a sensor placed on the skin that allows people to hear music using bone conduction, to robot orchestras.



'We will certainly technologically advance some of our pets and even wildlife too and we might create entirely new species such as real Furbies,' Dr Pearson continued.

'It's the young people who come to the fair who will help drive through the innovations our experts are predicting,' said Paul Jackson, chief executive of EngineeringUK, organizers of The Big Bang Fair.

'Today's young people will not only get to experience 'wearing' muscles or owning smart-pets, they will decide what these look like.'

HOW TO CHEAT DEATH - TRANSHUMANISM TO CRYONICS

Futuristic ideas about how humans could one day cheat death have been proposed since the 1950s.



The book 'Death and the Afterlife' by Clifford A. Pickover charts futuristic ideas about how humans could one day cheat death.

It includes the idea of transhumanism, proposed in 1957, and is considered to involve the use of technology to enhance human mental and physical capabilities. This could gradually make people 'posthuman' and means we could become immortal.

Cryonics, invented in 1962 offers hope that someone could be brought back to life, after being frozen. The idea is that technology will advance to a point where people could be revived and cured of diseases that may have killed them to have a second chance at life.

The mind-boggling idea of quantum immortality was first devised in 1987 and relies on the 'many worlds interpretation' of quantum mechanics.

The theory holds when the universe is confronted with a choice of paths at a quantum level, it follows the possibilities, splitting into multiple universes. This means if we die, in most parallel universes we will be dead, but in a handful, you will be alive.

Quantum resurrection is the idea that in an infinite amount of time, anything is possible and that we will reappear, according to physicist Katherine Freese.

It's possible it could take the form of Boltzmann brains - self-aware brains floating through space.

The 9 Veils Placed On Every Human Soul

Nearly a decade ago, a dear friend and colleague of mine named Don Harkins authored a wonderfully thought-provoking piece entitled “Slavery and the eight veils. Prior to Harkins’ untimely death, we discussed this “Eight-veils theory” for literally hours together – and in the end, Don asked me to write a piece about this for his newspaper, “The Idaho Observer.” He did this, because I had shared much of my research with Don, and we together came to the conclusion that in reality, there were actually NINE veils placed on the human soul (i.e. intelligence), and that spiritual progression and thus a full knowledge of TRUTH would require the piercing of these Nine Veils.

I joked with Don that this topic would take an entire edition of The Idaho Observer, and then it would only scratch the surface. That was one of Don’s editorial talents – taking a complex story and compressing it to a more readable format. In memory of Don Harkins, here is the writing we discussed, in as compressed a format as possible.



WHY NINE VEILS INSTEAD OF EIGHT

Any dedicated seeker of truth eventually stumbles upon the incredible symmetry and structure of mathematics, which is especially true in fractal geometry involving the integers 1-9. For a most basic example, just take a look at these nine equations:

(1 x 8) + 1= 9

(12 x 8) + 2 = 98

(123 x 8) + 3 = 987

(1234 x 8) + 4 = 9876

(12345 x 8) + 5 = 98765

(123456 x 8) + 6 = 987654

(1234567 x 8) + 7 = 9876543

(12345678 x 8) + 8 = 98765432

(123456789 x 8) + 9 = 987654321

Amazing, isn’t it? I find it very interesting, furthermore, that all of the great philosophers in history such as Archimedes, Copernicus, Socrates and DaVinci all were mathematicians first and foremost.



I submit that everything from biblical prophecy to DNA strands are built and based on quite simple mathematical formulas and patterns – but I am getting ahead of the story, for understanding the role of mathematics is in itself one of the nine hidden veils.

Consider also the so-called “mystery schools” of antiquity. In shadowy temples in Sumer and Babylon – the Kabala showed the way to the ultimate “Holy of Holies” – the re-veil-a-tions (revelation, i.e. the parting of the veils) of life, the creation, of God and when embraced in honor and truth, the very Origins of Man. This involved systematically piercing and embracing 9 levels of understanding or “Truth Plateaus” before finally entering “Nirvana” (or the ultimate unity with God) as depicted in modern “tracing boards”.

Like a giant Sudoku Puzzle board, the human experience we call life truly revolves around the numbers 1 – 9 in so many remarkable ways. Everything has a place in the system, and everything fits neatly and precisely in the eternal grid of time and space. This then, is but one definition of Truth – hidden, arcane knowledge that fits completely in the mathematical grid called logic. Yeshua (aka Jesus of Nazareth) declared this to His disciples: “Ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall set you free.”

WHY CAN’T PEOPLE SEE THE TRUTH?

This question is best answered by Don Harkins’ wise words written in 2001:

“Over the last several years I have evolved and discarded several theories in an attempt to explain why it is that most people cannot see truth — even when it smacks them in the face.



Those of us who can see “the conspiracy” have participated in countless conversations amongst ourselves that address the frustration of most peoples´ inability to comprehend the extremely well-documented arguments which we use to describe the process of our collective enslavement and exploitation. The most common explanation to be arrived at is that most people just “don´t want to see” what is really going on.

Extremely evil men and women who make up the world´s power-elite have cleverly cultivated a virtual pasture so grass green that few people seldom, if ever, bother to look up from where they are grazing long enough to notice the brightly colored tags stapled to their ears.

The same people who cannot see their enslavement for the pasture grass have a tendency to view as insane “conspiracy theorists” those of us who can see the past the farm and into the parlor of his feudal lordship´s castle.

Finally, I understand why.

It´s not that those who don´t see that their freedom is vanishing under the leadership of the power-elite “don´t want to see it” — they simply can´t see what is happening to them because of the unpierced veils that block their view.

All human endeavors are a filtration process. Sports are one of the best examples. We play specific sports until we get kicked off the playground. The pro athletes we pay big bucks to watch just never got kicked off the playground. Where millions of kids play little league each spring, they are filtered out until there are about 50 guys who go to the World Series in October.

Behind the first veil: There are over 7 billion people on the planet. Most of them live and die without having seriously contemplated anything other than what it takes to keep their lives together. Ninety percent of all humanity will live and die without having pierced the first veil.”



Indeed it can be said that less than 1% of the world’s 7 billion humans ever pierce all nine veils, and it would appear that even this small minority is ever-shrinking. In order to keep the “virtual pasture” green, the global elite also successfully bribe many who have pierced multiple veils, in order to misdirect others who may be approaching truth in many areas. I call this simply intellectual prostitution – selling the birthright of Universal Truth for a worthless mess of pottage. The gilded glitz of wealth, fame and social elevation have seduced many a gifted intellectual.

With full credit given to Don Harkins, here now are the newly updated “Nine Veils”.

The first veil: Ten percent of us will pierce the first veil and find the world of politics. We will vote, become active and develop an opinion. Our opinions will be shaped by the physical world around us; we will have been “conditioned” from our days in public education to accept that government officials, network media personalities and other “experts” are the primary voices of authority. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the third veil.

The second veil: Ten percent of us will also pierce the second veil to explore the world of history, the relationship between man and government and the meaning of self-government through constitutional and common law. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the third veil.

The third veil: Ten percent of those who pierce the second veil, will eventually pierce the third veil to conclusively find that the resources of the world, including people, are controlled by extremely wealthy and powerful families whose incorporated old world assets have, with modern extortion strategies, become the foundation upon which the entire world´s economy is currently indebted. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the fourth veil.

The fourth veil: Ten percent will then pierce the fourth veil to discover the Illuminati, Freemasonry, and the other secret societies. These societies use symbols and perform ceremonies that perpetuate the generational transfers of arcane knowledge that is used to keep the ordinary people in political, economic and spiritual bondage to the oldest bloodlines on earth. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the fifth veil.



The fifth veil: Ten percent will progress to pierce the fifth veil to learn that the secret societies are so far advanced technologically that time travel and interstellar communications have no boundaries and controlling the very thoughts and even the very actions of people is what their members do as offhandedly as we tell our children when they must go to bed. As in the days of Noah, this technology is even creating synthetic life forms, as man seeks to displace God. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the sixth veil.

The sixth veil: Ten percent will progress to pierce the sixth veil where we learn the dragons and lizards and aliens we thought were the fictional monsters of childhood literature are real indeed and are in reality the actual controlling forces behind the secret societies uncovered in the fourth veil. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without piercing the seventh veil.

The seventh veil: Ten Percent will progress to pierce the 7th veil where the incredible world of fractal geometry and the universal law of numbers will be fully understood and embraced. The creative force of the entire universe will be shown to be linked to numerical code formulas and sequences, and all “mysteries” including the very fabric of time, space, parallel universes, and access therein is unlocked. Those whose intellects allow them to pierce the seventh veil often succumb to the lure and promise of massive wealth offered by the ruling elite, and thus over ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without piercing the eighth veil.



The eighth veil: Piercing the eighth veil reveals God and the pure energy known as LOVE that is the pure life force in all living things – which are one and the same. Deep-seated Humility is needed in order to ever pierce this veil.

The ninth veil: Piercing the ninth veil means perfecting the pure energy known as love and thereby becoming truly one with God and His/Her formulations. By perfecting this pure energy, one then fully embraces charity and therein gains full understanding of the universal plan of sacrifice, death, and redemption; life itself then becomes complete and one truly comes full circle and looks at the world through the eyes of an innocent child, yet with the deepest wisdom born of pure LOVE from the eighth veil.

Consider this: If this theory is correct, there are only about 60,000 people on the planet who have successfully pierced the sixth veil. The irony here is too incredible: Those who are stuck behind veils one through five have little choice but to view the people who have pierced the veils beyond them as dangerously insane. With each veil pierced, exponentially shrinking numbers of increasingly enlightened people are deemed insane by exponentially increasing masses of decreasingly enlightened people.

Adding to the irony, the harder a “sixth or better veiler” tries to explain what he is able to see to those who can’t, the more insane he appears to them. This truth is self-evident. Moreover, institutions such as the venerable “Southern Poverty Law Center” are formed and financed by the ruling elite to effectively label many such awakened individuals “hate-mongers” and “terrorists”.

OUR ENEMY, THE STATE

Behind the first two veils we find the great majority of people on the planet. They are tools of the state: Second veilers are the gullible voters whose ignorance justify the actions of politicians who send untold millions of first veilers off to die in foreign lands as cannon fodder — their combined stations in life are simply to believe that the self-serving machinations of the power-elite are matters of national security and are worth dying for.

Third, fourth, fifth and sixth veilers are of increasing liability to the state because of their decreasing ability to be used as tools to consolidate power and wealth of the many into the hands of the power-elite few. It is common also, for these people to sacrifice more of their relationships with friends and family, their professional careers and personal freedom with each veil they pierce.

Albert Jay Nock (1870-1945), author of “Our Enemy, the State” (1935), explained what happens to those who find and embrace the final two veils: “What was the best that the state could find to do with an actual Socrates and an actual Jesus when it had them? Merely to poison one and crucify the other, for no reason but that they were too intolerably embarrassing to be allowed to live any longer.”

Conclusions

As Don Harkins has written: “And so now we know that it´s not that our countrymen are so committed to their lives that, “they don´t want to see” the mechanisms of their enslavement and exploitation. They simply “can´t see” it as surely as I cannot see what´s on the other side of a closed curtain.”

The purpose of this essay is threefold:

1. To help the handful of people in the latter veils to understand why the masses have little choice but to interpret their clarity as insanity;

2. To help people behind the first two veils understand that living, breathing and thinking are just the beginning and;

3. Show people that the greatest adventure of our life is behind the next veil because that is just one less veil between ourselves and God A.K.A. ‘The Highest Vibration”

Feel Lost, Disconnected, No Passion or Purpose? You Are Expanding

 

For those of you have unexplained symptoms of physical or emotional pain, know that you are not alone. Feeling lost, disconnected, without passion or purpose? You are on a path of self discovery. You are riding a wave of new energy. What you are feeling at this very moment is a transition–only one step of many on this grand journey of ascension on this planet that is progressing every second. Much of what you still see in the world and in your experiences is illusion and it is competing heavily with what the heart knows to be true. It’s time to start listening to what matters most and embracing that you are now in an accelerated state of expansion.

The 6 shifts in consciousness are being realized. The spring equinox has brought a fascinating wave of expansion throughout the planet. It is pushing people outside of their comfort zone and that is manifesting in some very interesting ways inside and outside the body.

Outside the body, electronic devices are behaving erratically. Your mobile phone, television, computer, network devices or even internet connection may not be functioning as they have in the past. You may experience unusual and unexplained downtime, yet there is nothing wrong with the actual devices because the problem is not the devices. The problem is your energy not properly grounding to where it needs to be. For some others the problem is appearing in their motor vehicles. They are all signs of what is happening in and around you.

Inside the body, unexplained symptoms, pain and illness may have surfaced in the last 3-6 months. Sleep patterns, fluctuating biorhythms, changes in blood pressure, intense pain in joints, headaches, changes in blood sugar and even more serious illnesses may have presented themselves. Although many of these symptoms are prolonged, rest assured they are not permanent.

The cellular structure is currently being recoded in the human body and in the process it is purging and letting go of predominant resident frequencies that are being eliminated. For this energy to clear, the immune system and actually all systems within the body must be effectively weakened. So while the body may appear to be in a state of illness, it is more or less in a state of clearing.

Unfortunately, this is the only way you will be able to prepare and move into the energy that is coming in the next 18 months–an energy critical for the Earth in the next decade. If the body fails to make the upgrade it will stop functioning entirely. The important thing is to recognize that you can change every single symptom that appears with the appropriate intention. Do not fall into negative patterning with assumptions that it is your own negative thoughts that have created these symptoms or that you must “fix” the problem. Focus on the fact that you are realigning your body to where it needs to be. Avoid statements to yourself such as: “I’m in pain…I’m sick…I’m ill”. Focus on: “I am healing…I am realigning…I am clearing my energy.” You are not broken, so there is nothing to fix. Accept what is and move forward while welcoming the wonderful changes that are leading to the new you.

The reason more people are feeling disconnected and without a sense of purpose is they are still holding on to old programming. “It’s not safe”, “I fear for my future or my family’s”, “people don’t understand me”, “the world is doomed”, and any other self defeating things you tell yourself which are based on fear, not reality. With practice and repetition, you are breaking out of this patterning at the subconscious level and consciously creating a different reality. Consciously directing energy is far more powerful than subconscious directives and this is part of what humanity is now transitioning to.

The media and engines of deception that control your world understand exactly what is happening so they are attempting to condition the public further with mass mind manipulation which is failing on a grand scale since so many people are now awakened. This unfortunately is causing more separation between those who are ascending and those who have chosen not to, as each in their own right will be true to their path and each will be exactly where they need to be.

If you could comprehend how many battles are being won right now, how many terrorist events are being stopped in their tracks, how many wars are being averted simply by the changing energy, you would see what is happening in the world in a very different light. These events are now daily, all because intention is spurring from the heart and more than ever before. Lower frequency experiences are being rejected worldwide.

The dominant masculine energy on Earth no longer has a hold on humans as it once did. You can no longer create from masculine energy alone which is how your society is structured.

The feminine energy is being grounded everywhere. It now surrounds the planet and it is allowing humanity to nurture and integrate benevolent experiences at all levels. The most efficient manifesters moving forward will be those who are attentive to calming, opening and receiving information in a way that allows it to pass through the feminine filter.

Again, those who still feel the need to control global governments are in full manipulation mode and they understand these processes operating at different dimensional levels. So they will place a female president in 2016 in the United States in an effort to capitalize on this wave of feminine energy. Unfortunately, this person will not have benevolent intentions and the world will realize it very quickly, but her role will be significant in the sense that she will serve as a symbol of global acceptance of the feminine divine. The irony is that because she will largely manifest from the masculine divine, she will fail miserably as leader in a country that can no longer be conditioned by fear. The next 18 months are truly a defining period of change for the United States and the rest of the world.

It’s imperative to connect with children and their energy at this time. If you have children, be involved with them as much as possible. If you don’t have children, then seek a loved one who does and learn as much as you can from a child’s energy. They have the ingredients so many adults are missing at this time.

Now that science has advanced to such a degree and research has disproven many of these myths, most people have tossed away the notion that anything beyond the material realm that cannot currently be measured must automatically be dismissed. 

However, recent findings by astrophysicist Ranga-Ram Chary have again sparked interest in “that which cannot be seen.”

While mapping the “cosmic microwave background,” or light left over from the early universe, Chary discovered mysterious bright spots which he believes may be matter from another universe “leaking” into ours. In a study recently published in the Astrophysics Journal, Chary writes, “Our universe may simply be a region within an eternally inflating super-region.” He also writes, “Many other regions beyond our observable universe would exist with each such region governed by a different set of physical parameters than the ones we have measured for our universe.”

The multiverse theory suggests that we are living in one universe of which there are many or even an infinite number of other universes existing independently or co-dependently, but which we cannot see or knowingly interact with. Chary believes that there is a 30% chance that these bright spots are nothing unusual, but that they, “[the bright spots] could also possibly be due to the collision of our Universe with an alternate Universe whose baryon to photon ratio is a factor of around 65 larger than ours.”

Although there is certainly evidence backing up the theory of a multiverse, not everyone is convinced by Chary’s findings. As the International Business Times reports: Theoretical astrophysicist David Spergel, from Princeton University, says he thinks it is worth looking into explanations that do not involve other universes. “The dust properties are more complicated than we have been assuming, and I think that this is a more plausible explanation.”

However, a document released by the FBI in July of 2015 titled “UFO” outlines some very odd points demonstrating that the government believes, or that they apparently once believed, a group of extraterrestrials lived and operated on earth. Suggesting that the government believes these beings are capable of inter-dimensional travel, the document seems to be from July 3rd1967, however, it is difficult to make out the date. Here are some points they made in their account, which you can find on page 22 of the document at vault.fbi.gov:

They do not come from any “planet” as we use the word, but from an etheric planet which interpenetrates with our own and is not perceptible to us.

These visitors are human-like but much larger in size.

They are not excarnate Earth people, but come from their own world.

The bodies of the visitors, and the craft also, automatically materialize on entering the vibratory rate of our dense matter.

The region they come from is NOT the astral plane, but corresponds to the Lakas or Talas. Students of esoteric matters will understand these terms.

They re-enter the etheric at will, and so simply disappear from our vision, without trace.

It is also notable that researcher and author David Icke gives a strikingly similar description of what he calls the “Archons”, as described by the Gnostics of about 150 A.D. Although he believes them not to be a “peaceful” bunch and connects them with much of what is happening in the world today.

How could the FBI have once believed this detailed account, but then somehow later figured it to be wrong and lost interest? Do the latest discoveries regarding the mulitverse theory also opent the door to the possibility that alien life forms are moving into and beyond our universe?

The maxim inscribed on the Temple of Apollo at Delphi reads:

'Know Thyself.'

This is without question written to foment the idea that the greatest endeavor one can set on is the journey within.

Stated at the core, it is the only real journey we will ever know. The trick is in recognizing that one is ultimately on that path.

The road is a harrowing one but like a compass, written works can be a most powerful tool in navigating the seas of consciousness. Books written by knowledgeable and experienced authors can solidify a conceptual road map for the mind.

Dispelling Wetiko - Breaking the Curse of Evil is one such work.

Paul Levy masterfully plays the role of trail guide into the world of the sub-conscious and the paradoxically abstract by analyzing and breaking down the shadow in ourselves.

A term coined by C.G. Jung, this definition from Dispelling Wetiko,

"the shadow is typically conceived of as the underdeveloped, undesirable, and inferior parts of our personality, the aspects of ourselves which we repress the most; it is the part of ourselves we are least proud of and want to hide from others."

We live in a time when our shadow hides in plain sight.

There have been many ways to express this concept over the centuries.

The word wetiko comes from the Native American Cree tribe,

"…a term that refers to a diabolically wicked person or spirit who terrorizes others by means of evil acts."

Levy understood through his own experiences and studies of other researchers, Buddhism and C. G. Jung that wetiko fit his idea for the expression of this force.

And yet is as mysteriously open to creative interpretations in relating it to our present circumstance, sociologically.

He says,

"Wetiko to me 'sounds' like a mantra, in that it is not a known, Western word associated with a literal, conceptual meaning in the same way that English words are.

Mantras operate on the level of sound vibration, in that they carry a phonemic, sensual level of affective meaning which is not translatable into conceptual definitions, speaking to and resonating with a nonverbal part of our being."

Wetiko can ultimately be seen as a psychic virus that infects the host with a psychotic cannibalistic need to feed on and infect others.

The virus itself is not a physical entity but more of a psychic hyper-dimensional parasite that morphs the infected individual into a psychoneurotic predator.

Like a vampire, those most infected are truly the antithesis to all life and move without empathy toward obliteration. Think of the most infamous characters in history and one can achieve a clearer picture of this expression.

Be as it may, the purpose of this study is to recognize how this virus may exist within us and how to understand the role we collectively play in its expression.

A key element in fully contemplating this information is in observing it in others, but ultimately recognizing it in yourself.

On page 129,

"It is the denial of the humanity of the other that lies at the heart of the mystery of evil. To quote theologian and philosopher Abraham J. Heschel,

'The opposite of humanity is brutality… Brutality is often due to a failure of imagination… Man turned beast becomes his opposite, a species sui generis.

The opposite of the human is not the animal, but the demonic.'

In full blown wetikos there is a perverse enjoyment of domination over another person(s), which involves a process of dehumanization, of transforming a person into an object, a 'thing', in which the other's freedom is taken away; this process is the very essence of the sadistic drive.

Their sadism is a way of transforming their feelings of powerlessness and impotence into a delusional experience of omnipotence."

Understand, the world is run by these full blown wetikos. In order to truly begin evolving and healing the outside world, people need to come to this realization and affect the change in the world on the inside. Step 1 is to recognize this truth.

I believe a strength in Levy's presentation is his conceptual grasp and articulation of the paradox.

Paradox: Latin paradoxum, from Greek paradoxon, from neuter of paradoxos contrary to expectation.

1) a statement that is seemingly contradictory or opposed to common sense and yet is perhaps true

2) an argument that apparently derives self-contradictory conclusions by valid deduction from acceptable premises

3) one (as a person, situation, or action) having seemingly contradictory qualities or phases

In the chapter entitled Evil, on page 146 Levy states,

"In the Gnostic Dialogue of the Savior, it says,

'Whoever does not know evil is no stranger to it.'

Wetiko forces upon us the evolutionary responsibility to become intimately related to and come to terms with the evil within our own hearts.

The art of alchemy was an attempt at a symbolic integration of evil, locating the divine drama of redemption in humanity itself. This involved a process of coming to terms with the unconscious, which always becomes a necessity when we are confronted with its primal darkness.

There is no escape from the world, the flesh, and the devil; they can only be truly renounced by being faced and overcome. The less evil is recognized, the more dangerous it is.

To the extent we have not rooted out the wetiko bug within ourselves we are complicit in the co-creation of the evil playing out in the world.

The Gnostic text The Gospel of Philip says,

So long as the root of wickedness is hidden, it is strong. But when it is recognized, it is dissolved.

When it is revealed, it perishes… As for ourselves, let us each dig down after the root of evil which is within each of us, and produces its fruit in our hearts. It masters us.

We are its slaves. It takes us captive, to make us do what we do not want, and what we do want, we do not do. It is powerful because we have not recognized it."

Contemplative study of the self, moving deeper into the recesses that we call the subconscious; shining light with the power of truth exposes the shadow that finds expression in us all.

Engaging in this work will leave one deeply affected and reflective of one's own personal dynamic expression. I am left a little more lucid and aware of the dots connecting up the puzzle pieces in the exploration of my own personal drama.

One of my favorite passages is in the section entitled Four Valued Logic.

While there are areas of information assessment that do require the axiomatic position of true or false, right or wrong, this approach has been utilized in manipulating the mind into a limited perspective without deeper thought.

An example would be G.W. Bush's speech about the 'War on Terror'.

He said,

"Either you're with us or you're with the terrorists."

Exactly...

From the chapter entitled Understanding Wetiko starting on page 40 we have this explanation,

"The apparent paradoxical nature of wetiko cannot be resolved within the framework of the standard Aristotelian, two-valued logic which is basic to Western analytical thought, where things are either true of false, or either exist or don't exist.

This paradox is itself a direct function or artifact of the intrinsic limitations built into the nature of a mutually exclusive, binary, two-valued logic. Having a definite utility, two-valued logic works by contrast, giving attributes to things and making distinctions, thereby limiting them; something is 'this' only by defining it as not 'that.'

Our very language itself, in categorizing things and ideas, conditions us into a dualistic, two-valued logical way of thinking. The axiomatic set through which we view the world and its logic conditions our minds.

To get insight into the non-ordinary reality of wetiko, we have to introduce a higher form of logic in order to wrap our minds around what we are dealing with.

The solution to such apparent paradoxes as wetiko lies outside our conventional way of thinking: its re-solution lies outside the box.

An example: something as basic as the wave/particle paradox of light requires an expanded logic to be addressed. It is well known that under the conditions of various experimental arrangements, light displays either wavelike or particle-like properties.

But what, then, is the essential nature of light? The question is not amenable to the usual two-valued logic, and may be better addressed by what is known as four-valued logic, a type of logic that is foreign to and outside of Western thought.

Two-valued logic is based on the law of the excluded middle, in which things are either (1) true or (2) false.

By contrast, four-valued logic includes the middle and the ends surrounding it, so that things are (1) true, (2) false, (3) both true and false (4) neither true nor false.

It is impossible to use exclusively two-valued logic to show the full range of possibilities in any given situation.

The alternatives offered by four-valued logic, however, represent all the possible standpoints from which every problem can be viewed. Four-valued logic covers the range of any idea we could possibly have about something.

Four-valued logic lies between the polarities created by the two-valued logic of duality. Four-valued logic is the logic of interdependence, unlimited wholeness, and the unity of all things.

Overcoming the arbitrary confines of the rational mind, four-valued logic deconstructs the conditioned mind into a natural state of seeing holistically. It literally changes the awareness of the mind to allow for a new and expanded understanding of reality, allowing the mind to transcend its own grip on and grasping of reality and thought.

Truly subversive, four-valued logic undermines our ability to hold on to any fixed position whatsoever.

By rejecting any one view as well as all views, four-valued logic is in essence rejecting the competence of standard Aristotelian reason to comprehend the fundamental nature of reality, a reality which ultimately transcends thought.

Expanding the dimensionality of logical thought, four-valued logic describes and is an expression of a non conceptual system of thought that leads beyond thought itself, engendering an intuitive awareness of the timeless existence of the underlying nonlocal field that pervades everything.

Quantum physics points out that our seemingly objective universe is more like a dream than we ever imagined. The dreamlike nature of our universe is articulated in a modern scientific context through what is called the Observer Effect, which points out that, just like within a dream, in the act of observing we affect and evoke the very universe that we are observing.

It therefore makes no sense to talk about an apparently objectively existing world separate from an observer such as ourselves, or an independent observer such as ourselves separate from the world observed.

Just as in a dream, the observer is the observed; we live in a participatory universe. Returning to our example, the true nature of light is not accommodated by either a wave or a particle, because the way light manifests depends on how it is observed ('dreamed up').

Speaking of the wave like quality of light, for example, four-valued logic would assert that light is a wave (which under certain conditions it is), light is not a wave (which under other conditions is true), light is therefore both a wave and not a wave, and light is neither a wave nor not a wave. This truly encompasses all possibilities.

Likewise, wetiko exists, it doesn't exist, it both exists and doesn't exist, and it neither exists nor doesn't exist.

To be able to see through this more holistic view of the world is to be in an expanded state of consciousness in which we are not creating or investing in an unnecessary state of duality.

Both light and wetiko are inscribed in and expressions of the same underlying unified field.

Like wetiko, light is not an object that solely exists in space and time. Its photonic aspect exists in three-dimensional space and time, but another aspect of light does not.

Four-valued logic gives us a greater range of possibilities with which to grasp the reality of certain phenomena such as the nature of light, and four-valued logic will assist us in getting a handle on the nature of wetiko.

A spiritual path in itself, four-valued logic is a mind-expanding and mind freeing path to spaciousness and compassion.

Another example of four-valued logic is the Schrödinger's cat paradox, a famous thought experiment in quantum physics which showed that the universe can't be said to exist in a particular form until there is an observer to experience it.

The key to this paradox is what is referred to as the principle of 'superposition,' which states that until we look and collapse the infinitude of the wave function, the universe is actually in all possible states simultaneously.

This is to say that in Schrödinger's experiment, the cat is both alive and dead at the same time until it is observed. On the level of the conventional mind and ordinary reality, this is obviously false and nonsensical, but it shows the limits of Aristotelian logic, which is to say this paradox is not consistent with two-valued logic.

Just as with the light paradox, using four-valued logic we can say that the cat is neither alive nor not alive at the same time; this is the real meaning of superposition of states in the quantum mechanical wave function.

To say that Schrödinger's cat is neither alive nor not alive is a statement that can potentially dissolve the conventional strictures of the conceptual mind so as to reveal naked awareness itself, the basic essence of unconditioned mind.

We are unable to conceptually understand four-valued logic, however, with a mind that has been conditioned to think with two-valued logic. Four-valued logic points to and introduces us to a direct experience of reality beyond the straitjacketing conditioning of two-valued logic.

Seeing the world through four-valued logic gives us greater degrees of freedom of choice, in that it actively empowers our free will.

Four-valued logic sheds light on who we are. For example, on one hand we are a body existing in space and time. But on the other hand, we are clearly not just a body.

As a bodily organism, we are finite, mortal, and subject to suffering, but at the same time, we are not a body but a consciousness, living in a multidimensional universe.

We are a part of a consciousness outside space/time, participating in a higher-dimensional, nonlocal universe. We are both a body and not a body. And we are neither a body nor not a body.

Four-valued logic illumines how we are able to be both a self and not a self, both separated as bodies and not separated in consciousness.

Four-valued logic, the logic that wetiko demands in order to understand, introduces us to who we actually are beyond the constraining limitations of the mind/body dualism.

As we deepen our contemplation of wetiko, it is becoming clear that wetiko is the source of the darkest evil, while at the same time potentially,

-freeing our mind

-curing us of our wrong attitude

-expanding our consciousness

-shifting our identity

-helping us to achieve gnosis of the divine

-potentially waking us up

Can we therefore still say that wetiko is evil?

Four-valued logic would assert:

-wetiko is evil

-it is not evil

-it is both evil and not evil

-it is neither evil nor not evil

In other words, wetiko is not only the archetype of evil, but understanding wetiko also means gaining insight into the deeper place that evil plays in the cosmic plan of creation, salvation, redemption, and incarnation of the Divine.

Though one of the channels that wetiko manifests is through individuals, ultimately speaking, wetiko can't be said to exist in individuals separately from the surrounding field, for the simple reason that individuals, as separate, discrete entities isolated from the surrounding field, don't exist in and among themselves.

Unable to be seen or understood from the fixed viewpoint of the separate self, wetiko is a relational phenomenon, in that wetiko happens in the space between us (as well as the space between 'parts' of ourselves), as we relate to each other, ourselves, and the world at large. It is as if wetiko 'places' the unconscious between self and other.

There is no wetiko disease that only exists in one individual.

Being imaginal, wetiko does not exist as an isolated, objective entity separate from our subjective awareness. The subtle body of wetiko is an (im)materialization of the interactive field between us.

Wetiko exists in the 'in-between' place in which we are all inseparable interconnected and, in the deepest sense, don't exist as isolated entities. We are not the passive victims of the wetiko psychosis. Wetiko is something that we are potentially participating in and are actively co-creating with each other in each and every moment.

Wetiko is a dreaming phenomenon, in that we are all dreaming up the wetiko epidemic together."
