Living from Our Deepest Knowing

Experientially, there is no realization without Being, which is a cessation of becoming. Paradoxically, there is no flowering of that realization without becoming, which is our willingness to be transformed by our realization. Realization is not an attainment of ego. It is the end of trying to get somewhere, be somebody, arrive somewhere else. What is realized is what is ever-present, what is here, what we are, and have always been when we are no longer identified with our conditioned mind. What is here now looking out, looking in, aware of this moment’s unfolding?

When we deeply realize the mystery of our own awake being, and do not move away from the Unknown we encounter, our mind ceases its searching, its separation, and its belief that it can end illusion. Egoic thought does not know itself as “pure awareness,” rather it is Awareness that sees egoic thought. The infinite ocean of Awareness awakens Itself within its own expression of being. And it is that same awake beingness that will transform our way of being in the world. If we are looking for a “permanent” state of embodiment, or a knowing of “pure” awareness that is “remembered” every single moment, we are still operating from the mind of separation.

When there has been a true awakening, it is the Mystery and not the “me” that then begins to transform our thoughts, our heart, and our actions. It is at this point that many seekers move away from what they have realized and return to the mind to try to figure out how to live from this truth. However, as soon as we go back to the mind’s thoughts about “how,” we have departed from the mystery of being, which is the source and agent of living more deeply, directly, and simply from what we are. So, this often becomes a source of confusion, and many either return to egoic transformation techniques, which are now directed by a spiritualized ego, or they become passive rather than grounded in being, which is simultaneously alive, present, intimate with the moment, and functioning with wisdom and compassion. In either case realization may not truly flower due to our attempts to either control or avoid acting.

When we begin to realize the truth of what we are, we may feel that we are free, but our minds, emotions, and our bodies may be acting and reacting from old identifications. It is our deep and sincere devotion to truth, and to living from truth that opens the heart and mind and creates willingness for all false views to be deconstructed. Our greatest ally is our own integrity. No one can give us our integrity or take it away. It is ours to care for. The truth within sees untruth, but without self-judgment–seeing, as it does, no separate self to be judged. This process begins when we realize what we are. But how far are we willing to let that realization take us? Realization does not create a new identity; it keeps shedding old ones. In the spiritual life, we are not seeking to transcend our human experience, but to fully express the truth of our Being through it. When we want authenticity more than we want to maintain an “image,” freedom will lead the way.

Enlightenment as intimacy

Zen Master Dogen, considered the 51st patriarch of Zen, once gave a very simple description of enlightenment: “Enlightenment is simply intimacy with all things.”And he went on to say: “Not knowing is most intimate.”

We think we know something when we can name it, pull a word or concept from memory to describe a thing, a person, a feeling, a flower, a self. Without making words and concepts wrong, can we investigate experience before adding the mind’s likes, dislikes, judgments, associations and concepts to the bare and intimate reality of Now? What is our experience when we are deeply present to what is present before us or within us?

Intimacy cannot be a memory because memory is imported from past experience and true intimacy is touching the world exactly as it is Now, without separation. Can we touch with our own intimate awareness the stars exactly as they are, our skin exactly as it is, a feeling exactly as it is, an encounter exactly as it is, without the need to add a story or create a drama, or claim a “self” being intimate? Can we live with the usefulness of memory without using it to prop up another concept about awakening or about a separate “self”? Can we allow judgment to gently be replaced by the intimate experience of Now, knowing that transformation of our habitual patterns of mind do not end with a moment of awakening, but gradually become more and more transparent as we return again and again to the realm of the timeless, to the willingness not to know something only as a concept. “Not knowing,” in this sense, is most intimate, indeed.

Living without a map

To the Western mind, living without a goal, without a map, having “nowhere to go and nothing to do” sounds like sheer madness—boring at best, lazy, irresponsible, uncaring, and an invitation to chaos at worst. But nothing could be further from the truth. It might mean we are finally available for Truth to move spontaneously within us, allowing action to come from the dimension of our being that is at peace. Doing is coming from Being. It does not mean living stupidly, or passively, or being unable to make plans. It means not being attached to those plans. It means being open to what is here now rather than judging it, being curious rather than fearful about this moment’s expression. It means being authentic, real, engaged, and intimate with experience.

To live from our natural state means discovering that there is no map for how to live. The voice that always asked “how?” has been quieted, and we are living more and more directly from the Mystery that is whole and undivided. This mystery of our Being is deeply and unflinchingly present to the moment as it appears, and thus can move with an intelligence, wisdom, compassion and love unknown to the mind that seeks to be in control.

We always imagined we would find peace and happiness when we had perfected our ego. What a shock to learn there isn’t one! We never imagined that what is awake is what is free, not some shiny image of how the world or the “me” should look. The mind that is always attempting to be in control, improve the world, self and the so-called “other” frequently serves as the agent of division—even when it is trying to “help.” When we realize there is no separation, “help” will automatically be transmitted by the quality of our being, not by our assuming a superior role of “helper.” When we have seen beyond a broken world or the dream of a wounded identity to the Wholeness beyond being or non-being, that in itself invites more healing than can be told. Perhaps we can begin to realize that living from our deepest Knowing is being truly alive in the present moment and being intimately aware within it. Maybe life is neither a problem to be solved nor a destination, but an endlessly unfolding creation moment-to-moment.

By all means, if you want to drive to an unknown destination in your car, use a map. But if you want Truth, be guided from the deep silent Source within that gives the mind no security, but rather continually invites it to the Unknown, and to the lifelong adventure of living openly, Now.

Old life, new life: entrances and exits

Dreams come and go. Some are forgotten, others remain. The practical side says, "You must do this, you must do that," but the dreams that hold on say something else:

You can leave an old life and begin a new one.

This is more than hope. It's a kind of vision composed of past moments in which the cup of joy is filled to the brim.

Nothing in this universe can wipe out those memories forever.

They come back.

And when they do, they bring energy, belief, and confidence.

A person can refuse to see the suggestions and the implications, he can pretend he's merely floating in a brief reverie, and he can then trample on through the garden and continue his way to a bleak outpost. But still he doesn't entirely forget.

Because he doesn't want to.

The memories are distillations of the best of the past, and they point to a new future.

The shape of that future may be vague, but the emotions and sensations are vivid.

These feelings can rise again, if one can discover what actions will recover them. Actions, which taken together, create the substance of the years ahead.

For a baby learning what this world is, there is no tangible past. His entire thrust is discovering delight. Which reminds us that the psyche, the spirit, wants joy, naturally---and if unimpeded, will find it. Hour by hour, day by day.

Only much later, when the baby has "grown up," does he realize he has left something behind.

Then, unfortunately, he comes to believe he can't go back. He comes to believe that some rigid set of principles should be his North Star: through this compass setting, the best of what is possible will be his, given that limits are more important than possibilities.

But every human knows, in a part of himself that is often shielded from sight, that possibilities ring more true than limits.

When a small child paints a picture, no matter what it looks like, he can tell you a story about it. And he invests this story with a vision that is more powerful, in some mysterious way, than all of society.

Centuries from now, when historians look back on this time, no matter what they find, they will still need this lesson. They will need to know that in the soul of every person, there are colors of visions which, when acted upon, make new lives, new delight, joy, ecstasy. And the alternative is always less.

The simple compounding of these lessers, without the need for mathematical sophistication, explains the root cause of the decline of civilizations.

Activism: The Way to Demonstrate Your Spirituality

June 21, 2016

Activism is what the Earth needs right now especially from conscious individuals, conscious groups and conscious communities. Those who started their awakening process most likely can see that we are living in maya (as the ancient Buddhist teachings tell us), a fake world of deception or a giantMatrix. Many have already begun to see that close to everything is fake, from MSM (Mainstream Media) news to food to scientific research to Government itself. While it is true that to be effective we must address the cause of the problem – the dysfunction of the mind/ego complex inside all of us – it is also true that merely trying to be more spiritual or become enlightened in your own isolated and separate bubble is not going to help the state of the world and alleviate others’ suffering very much. Sure, by focusing on your own enlightenment you can avoid adding to the collective misery and pain, but what is the point of all that enlightenment if you’re not going to do anything with it?

The Enlightened State Recognizes that We Are All One Being

A characteristic of the truly enlightened state is the deep recognition that we are all connected, and that in fact we are literally all one being. Therefore, a natural corollary of becoming more enlightened that you would intuitively feel the urge to help those around you, with whom you are connected by love. How can you truly have inner peace when you look into your brother’s or sister’s eye and see pain and suffering? That is also your pain and suffering, because I am you and you are me.

We are all in this together. Didn’t a great spiritual master of 2000 years ago say that we must forgive our brothers and sisters, and make things right with them, before attempting to enter the temple of God (i.e. go within to feel inner peace)?

Becoming More Conscious = Ending Denial

To me, becoming more conscious means becoming more integrated and whole. It means accepting things as they are and giving up the constant need to judge and complain. It also means ending denial, for whatever you deny, you push away and refuse to look at. This may be the parts of your personality that you don’t like. It may also be parts of what is happening in the world that are too “heavy”, “intense” or “negative” for you to handle. Yet, it is an energetic truth that whatever you deny or repress only grows stronger. It festers and ferments in the shadows and returns, often in an even worse form, when you least want or expect it. One way or another, you’re going to have to deal with it. Why not do it right now?

Can Truly Conscious People Ignore the Worldwide Conspiracy Around Us?

There is a common belief prevalent among those in spiritual or conscious communities – namely that we should leave activism to others, and that we should not worry about the bad state of the world or focus on it too much, because whatever we focus on we create, and obviously we do not wish to create more pain. While this is true, it is also used as an excuse by many to hide behind denial. Part of the enlightenment process is to confront the dark and transmute it – not to ignore and hope with wishful thinking that it will just magical go away.

Remember what the most beloved US President of all, JFK, had to say in 1961:

“For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence – on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.

Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed.”

It is an open secret that JFK was killed not by Lee Harvey Oswald by rather by this close-knit group of powerful individuals who felt very threatened by his desire to end secrecy and expose the conspiracy to light. JFK was assassinated 52 years ago. Have we gotten past our denial and apathy, and gotten any closer to integrating this dark side of our world? Have we confronted the truth that wealthy bankers, businessmen and military-intelligence heads run the Government, not politicians? Have we educated ourselves enough to see through the web of lies being spun by the MSM? Or have we pushed it all to the recesses of our consciousness and thought “someone else can deal with it”? Are you accepting that you can’t handle the truth? Are you conscious enough to deal with the reality of what is happening on planet Earth?

Activism: Enlightened Action is the Complementary Outflow of the Enlightened State

Yes, we must take care of our inner state before we can hope to change the outer state (our society) for the better. However, what the world really needs right now is activism –enlightened action from an enlightened state. We need people to stand for peace and, with activism, challenge the war-loving governments of the world. We need people to stand for justice and, with activism, speak up against ongoing 21st century genocide (as the Zionist regime of Israel is doing to the Palestinians). We need people to stand for clean food by educating themselves about the dangers of GMOs and, with activism, demanding chemical-free food. We need people to stand for sovereignty and human rights in the face of corrupt courts that are happy to take away your freedom to make it easier for corporations and politicians to rule over you.

And so, I put out a call to all people on the conscious road: make activism part of your spiritual path. The joy you will feel from making the world a better place, of making a real difference, will be profound. Remember the vow of the Bodhisattva: to attain complete enlightenment for the sake of all sentient beings. We need to translate the divine inner peace of our inner states to the concrete action of activism in the outer world to end suffering.

Why Britain should leave the European Union

Published on May 14, 2016

Brexit: The Movie lays bare the nature of the European Union - and shows why millions of Brits are voting to leave it. It blows apart the pro-EU propaganda and makes the case for an independent, confident and outward-looking Britain.

Do not let unelected EU bureaucrats in Brussels dictate the future of your children and grandchildren. Free yourselves from the shackles of a collectivist organization that gradually destroys the sovereignty of all free nations!

I urge every patriotic Brit to vote LEAVE on the 23rd June, for the sake of your great country well as the future of Europe - and ultimately humanity.

Vote for Prosperity, Sovereignty, Independence, strong Borders, Freedom, Economic Strength and Self-determination. Vote Britain, vote LEAVE!

Let it go!

Srujana Aedama

The mind is a complex thing. It constantly feeds on the past and future, almost never in this moment. Often, we spend too much time and energy trying to plan, prevent and predict what is going to happen, or what was supposed to happen, that we root ourselves in fear-based living. But what I learned is that when we try to control, it disconnects us from everything else. We close down our hearts and get imprisoned by whatever it is that we are trying to control. It’s not just with people but with life too. Most of the times, we find ourselves thinking about what we should have done differently and how we could have lived our lives, instead of focusing on what we can create in this moment. This impulse to control stems from the lack of trust in life. We believe that if we don’t control, life will fail us and those we love. The thing is, even if we succeed in controlling some things, by distrusting life we become disconnected from life itself. When we are disconnected from life, we are also unplugged from the source of creation. Our fears, worries and insecurities start to gain more power than love, peace and joy. So how can we access a deep connection to life? By trusting in the process of life and letting go. Trusting life does not mean that undesirable experiences will never happen, it means that if they do, you trust that whatever unfolds is for your highest good, and the highest good of those involved. Here are some techniques which help us through this process.

Practice being in the present

Look around you! Look at all the everyday miracles and life that there is. Listen to the rhythmic chirping of the birds when you wake up. Notice the good in people and acknowledge their efforts. Relish the gorgeous sunset on your way back home from work. Admire the moon for its beauty. Breathe in the fresh, flower-scented air deeply on your early morning hike and feel it in your lungs. Pause and listen to your heart beat. This moment is truly inevitable so be grateful and savor each moment for its uniqueness. Peace almost always arises when we can be fully present in the moment. Believe it or not, when we are in sync with all that is around us, in other words when we are in sync with the universe, it immediately brings us back into connection with who we really are. The power of letting go to the source of creation is a powerful way which lets you tap into the oneness and creative flow of the universe. This moment is the only only doorway to the creator and creativity. It means that you are opening up to better things that life has planned for you.

Surrender to the universe

Notice how all of these miracles work in harmony without our meddling? The planets, the tides, mother earth, the sun and the moon, all continue to to carry on their legacy. Even our breath does not wait for a signal. It goes on! The same source that created all these miracles also created us. Doesn’t it seem like the source of life knows what it is doing? The more we try to resist and control life, the more misaligned to life we become. When we lift that control, we allow magical things to happen. So why not surrender and let the universe do it’s thing? By surrendering, I do not mean giving up on your dreams or loved ones but to end any form of resistance. It means putting your heart into what you want to create and then letting go without trying to control the outcome. To surrender to your emotions without resisting them but also being aware of them at the same time. To surrender is to stop fighting the natural flow of life and just let life unfold the beautiful story that it has in store for you. Surrendering is powerful, liberating and life enhancing. When you get to a place of surrender, higher guidance flows freely through you and your creativity will gain momentum.

Accept the moment

We hear a lot of advice around us to make peace with the past, let go and move on. If only life was that simple, sigh! It’s no use denying that past experiences have had no effect on who we are now. Letting go does not mean repressing or pushing away our feelings. People who deny the effect of past experiences can get caught in a strategy of self-protection that involves dismissing or ignoring strong emotions and tend to experience the same symptoms as those who struggle with anxiety. Such things can come back to bite us where we least expect it. I believe that some things had to happen the way they did as soul lessons for our spiritual growth. The best thing to do is to bless them for having served us and let them go in a healthy manner. How do we do this? Through acceptance of the moment. The more we resist the situation which is beyond our control, the more we suffer. But when we completely accept the moment as it is, then there wouldn’t be any suffering. If you think about it, happiness occurs because we are completely accepting something that is happening at that moment. It’s not about external events making you happy but it is about completely accepting the moment the way it is. Accept yourself and the situation, understand how it affected you and how it served you in your growth process. Also make sure to place it where it belongs — in the past.

What is the lesson?

One of the most beautiful gifts we can give to ourselves is the willingness to open up ourselves to understand why and how certain things happened and what is the lesson in it for us to learn. Acknowledging that there is a soul lesson to learn in every undesirable situation is where half of the healing happens. Have you noticed undesirable patterns repeating themselves again and again in your lives? That is the universe’s way of telling us that there is still a lesson to be learned and acknowledged from the situation. The hardest most painful part of our life might end up leading us someplace more powerful. When we are open to life’s unexpected blessings, we are led to what we need.

Release attachments to thoughts

Once the lesson is learnt, the most important thing to do is to let go of all attachments to our thoughts. The secret is to not let our thoughts run or control us. Instead what we have under our control is THIS moment and the power to make different choices, to think in different ways and create the life we want. It is important to let go of negative thoughts and turn our focus into thoughts that empower us to create a happy and content life. By letting go of negative thoughts, you are also releasing the mental and emotional attachments which originate from the thoughts. This can be a very challenging and on-going process but slowly the thoughts will begin to lose power over you. Letting go is not a one-time thing. It is a practice that requires dedication to the process of life until you reach a state of wakefulness. The more you do it, the easier it becomes.

The Psychopathy of Greed

I always find it interesting that people blame corporate greed for our overall condition. Sure it's a major factor at one level, but it's just an obvious outcropping of something much, much deeper.

Sadly not that many are willing to go there...

That the entire world system is built on a capitalist system in one form or another is mind boggling. Defying our innate conscious awareness to the contrary, the signal has been given and repeatedly endorsed as well as crassly promoted that we need to gain off of each other, in each and every transaction, every exchange, in a no holds barred, dog eat dog environment.

One look at the marketing world and you get the picture. And the supposed "fittest" come out on top.

This is how and why the populace acquiesces to domination by the few.

"They're just good at what they do. They're smarter and more motivated than the rest of us so surely they deserve to be winners in the game."

Humanity's being told how the game works and that this is your only option.

"It's just the way it is, so get to work and earn your salary, then invest in the game and try to get ahead and make a name and lots of money for yourself."

At which point the sharks devour the unsuspecting guppy.

Group absolved endemic greed doesn't make it right, however justified, by any stretch of the imagination.

The Corporate "Growth" Model

It's fully accepted that corporations need to grow.

For their good, for our good, or so we're told. It's a fear based econo-survivalist psychological scam. Who says they need to constantly make more, for their investors' interests or otherwise?

Yet this is considered healthy in a capitalistic system, under the guise of increased jobs and benefits and a prosperous economy.

Do the employees really benefit?

Do the consumers who go increasingly into debt trying to catch the materialist carrot benefit?

Who really benefits?

Yet this model is accepted carte blanche as a driving force for a 'healthy economy.'

If you stand back to think about it outside of all this financial gibberish it's completely destructive, enslaving insanity for the good of the few. And yet this model is mimicked as if it's the paradigm of truth through every level of Pavlovian entrained economic and interpersonal commerce engagement.

Getting to the Root of the Problem

The entire system is built on a background of assumed scarcity, that there's not enough to go around so unless you push and shove your way into a place where you "earn" your keep and beat those around you you'll be hung out to dry.

Clever bastards. All while they sit at the top of the food chain devouring their prey.

What's even more surreal is how those who "succeed" in making a lot of money are then considered authorities on any and every subject.

Just look the Rockefeller family, one such cluster-fuck among many, screwing their way up the capitalist ladder who then set up think tanks, foundations and whatnot to influence the course of humanity according to their whims.

What or who made them the "wise ones" to rule over us? Guess what: Endorsed greed, abject avarice and the resultant intoxicating money and power in the hands of a few.

Look at creeps like George Soros or Bill Gates and a plethora of other unelected plutocrats, inserted intellectuals and accepted moral and geopolitical authorities like the Pope, lap dog Kissinger or voice petBrzezinski and the panorama of puppet heads of state.

It's insane...

Never mind the,

Carnegies

Morgans

the so-called royal families of Europe such as the Windsors and House of Orange-Nassau of the Netherlands

...or whomever is hoarding the really big bucks.

The message is the same:

in their minds we and our world are owned.

And they aren't sharing nothing with the rest of us.

Why? Apparently we don't deserve it.

Do you like that fate and outcome? "Everyone else is accepting it, so it must be OK"… reasons the stilted servant.

Greed - A Name You Can Trust

You've all heard the outlandish statistics about how few have so much in this world.

Yet it is by and large accepted by quiet submission, incredible as that may seem. The problem is humanity's acquiescence to a rigged system.

While the wealth of some of these bloodline families, banking moguls and mega rich corporate thugs could feed the poor of the earth many times over, they sit on their booty and only get more oppressive.

This brings us to the psychopathy of greed, amongst many other issues.

Greed is insatiable. It is a vampiristic dynamic. It only sucks and is never satisfied. Wealth soon takes a back seat to power and control, their ultimate aphrodisiac. This is what it all leads to.

And this reptilian, archontic urge is never satisfied, it always wants more. At any cost to the hosts of these parasites.

The issue is that psychopathy, especially in positions of power, is not just rampant but so readily accepted. That's where the problem exponentially compounds.

This is the heartbreaking aspect to all of this, how humanity has bought into their program and replicates these unnatural urges at every level of society, which of course their system is designed to do.

And while the masses abuse each other in this same lower vibrational parasitic frequency, no one is conscious enough to realize their oppressive trendsetters are feeding off of all of humanity by the very meme they've put into place.

If people woke up to that one fact we'd have an overnight revolution of disengagement causing a massive resetting of how society should and could cooperate.

Conclusion - The 5 Step Program

Parasitic forces build parasitic institutions, and encourage the same in others while maintaining their dominance.

Be it corporatism, capitalism, communism and socialism, fractional banking or base line competition for resources and day to day needs, this system is rigged to the core.

Agreeing to help foment this dog eat dog mentality under the guise of survival or "rightful competition" only perpetrates the problem.

To become free and help build the better world we know exists requires conscious disconnection with this systemic disease. It begins in both small and big steps.

But the underlying propellant towards change is identifying the problem for what it is.

A parasitic disease, promulgated by those who stand to gain, and realizing their mindset is a pathological, direly destructive one that seeks to exert its twisted idea of oligarchical as well as personal control at any expense.

Step Up

First, do your part. Realize what is transpiring before your eyes, no matter how horrid it may first appear.

Second, disengage. In any and every way possible. Just take steps in that direction and the mounting freedom it engenders will empower you to take the next step.

Third, tell others - like a house afire. Use wisdom but never hold back. The hour is late as they are entering their last phases of implementable programs and are getting desperate to throttle humanity's awakening.

Fourth - stand strong in your convictions. Feed those convictions, strengthen them, and encourage the same in others, as the mainstream of society is a nasty polluted river we must avoid, resist, oppose and most of all penetrate and reverse with everything in us.

Fifth - Stand fast in your convictions. Live a life committed to your newfound awakened understanding… fearlessly. This presence of awakened individuals does more than we'll ever know.

See greed for what it is, but most of all don't comply with their fabricated hierarchical world of abuse.

It's fraudulent, manipulative, destructive and a de facto form of voluntary enslavement. See the world for what it has become. But more importantly, see the world as it should be and operate within that paradigm.

Their fabricated world of lies will then crumble at our feet...

Media Matrix: an Ancient Tibetan Perspective on Network News

Jon Rappoport, Guest
Waking Times

“A long time ago, teachers and students in Tibet considered themselves artists of reality. They practiced inventing it. And then, separating themselves from every other spiritual system, they practiced destroying what they created. Back and forth, back and forth, with the goal of achieving an intimate knowledge of their own existence.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)

(To read about Jon’s mega-collection, Exit From The Matrix, click here.)

For the early Tibetan adepts, the Void was a vital concept.

Stripped of its metaphysical baggage and embroidery, Void was the place where creating stopped. The constant “noise of existence” went away.

The ongoing parade of inner thoughts, sentiments, propensities—vanished.

For as long as a person wanted to stay there. And experience the greatest “vacation” he’d ever known. If he could handle it.

But humans felt a great need to avoid the Void. They demanded activity, flow, information.

They eventually sank to the level of passivity…and then they simply wanted input, more input, and still more input.

From an authoritative unimpeachable external source.

Hence, from the earliest societies onward, there was a thing called: the news.

It was updated. It was ongoing. It was forever.

Priests delivered it. Kings delivered it. Their minions delivered it.

If the news stopped, people felt anxiety, which, at bottom, was a fear of Void.

There is much more to say about the Tibetans and their understanding of Void and its twin, ongoing Creation, but I’ll save that for another time.

Now, in these times, the global population has television news.

The imitations of life called anchors are the arbiters. How they speak, how they look, how they themselves experience emotion—all this is planted deep in the minds of the viewers.

Much of the world can’t imagine the evening news could look and sound any other way.

That’s how solid the long-term brainwashing is.

The elite anchors, from John Daly, in the early days of television, all the way to Lester Holt and Scott Pelley, have set the style. They define the genre.

The anchor taps into, and mimics, that part of the audience’s psyche that wants smooth delivery of superficial cause and effect. (In the Void, of course, cause and effect dissolve.)

The network anchor is the wizard of Is. He keeps explaining what is. “Here’s something that is, and then over here we have something else that is, and now, just in, a new thing that is.” He lays down miles of “is-concrete” to pave over deeper, uncomfortable truth.

Ultimately, he is paving over Void.

On air, the anchor is neutral, a castratus, a eunuch.

This is a time-honored ancient tradition. The eunuch, by his diminished condition, has the trust of the ruler. He guards the emperor’s inner sanctum. He acts as a buffer between his master and the people. He applies the royal seal to official documents.

All expressed shades of emotion occur and are managed within that persona of the dependable court eunuch. The anchor who can move the closest to the line of being human without actually arriving there is the champion. These days, it was, until his downfall, Brian Williams.

The vibrating string between eunuch and human is the frequency that makes an anchor great. Think Cronkite, Chet Huntley, Edward R Murrow. Huntley was a just a touch too masculine, so they teamed him up with David Brinkley, a medium-boiled egg. Brinkley supplied twinkles of comic relief.

There are other reasons for “voice-neutrality” of the anchor. Neutrality conveys a sense of science. “We did the experiment in the lab and this is how it turned out.”

Television news is really all segue all the time. That’s what it comes down to.

The word “segue,” pronounced “segway,” refers to a transition from one thing to another, a blend.

Ed McMahon once referred to Johnny Carson as the prince of blends, because Carson could tell a clunker of a joke, step on it three times, and still move to the next joke without losing his audience.

Television news is very serious business. A reporter who can’t handle segues is dead in the water. He’s a gross liability.

The good anchors can take two stories that have no connection whatsoever and create a sense of smooth transition.

Brian Williams could say, “The planes were recalled later in the afternoon…And a man was cut in two in a horrific accident in Idaho today…And in Seattle (smile), three people reported seeing turtles falling from the sky.”

And it works. The segue works. The blends from one story to another seem reasonable somehow.

The networks basically have, on a daily basis, radically fragmented stories, and they need an anchor who can do the blends, the segues, and get away with it, to promote the sense of one continuous flow. So the audience doesn’t say, “This is just an odd collection of surreal moments, this is Salvador Dali on my television screen.”

The news is all segue all the time.

Not just nationally. On the local level, too. The pounding lead-in music at the top of the show prepares the audience. A) Music. B) “Tonight, our top story: a man ate a hot dog and died …”

The voice of the anchor is the non-stop blending machine that ties all news stories together. That’s why the elite network stars earn their paychecks.

Good segue people are stage magicians. They can move the viewer’s attention from item A to item B without a tremor or a doubt.

The segue, the blend not only connects wildly disparate pieces, it keeps the viewer from brushing up against the Void. The blend is the primary mechanism for creating an endless river of “information” linoleum with no cracks.

It’s often been said of certain actors, “He could read from the phone book and you’d listen.” Well, an elite anchor can hold the viewer’s mind as he reads a sentence from the phone book, another one from a car-repair manual, a third from a cookbook, and a fourth from a funeral-home brochure. Without stopping.

And afterward, the viewer would have no questions.

The news is surreal because the stories are mostly fool’s gold to begin with; and they’re unrelated. They’re rocks lying around. The anchor picks them up and invents the illusion of One Flowing Stream.

This is what the audience wants. The news feels like a story. It feels like unity. It feels like a stage play or a movie. It feels, when all is said and done, good.

You can’t pull just anyone off the street and have him describe car crashes, murders, storms, threats of war, political squabbles, 300 cats living in a one-room apartment, a new piece of Medicare legislation, genitalia picture tweets, and the dedication of a new library, while keeping the audience in a light trance.

Katie Couric couldn’t do it. People were waiting for her to break out into an attack of Perky and giggle and cross her legs. Diane Sawyer had her bad nights. She seemed to be affecting somber personal grief as her basic segue-thread. Scott Pelley is competent, but he has his off-moments, too, when he’s suddenly sitting like a surgeon ready to signal the anesthesiologist to clamp a mask on your face, before he cuts into your stomach.

Whereas, a true version of the news would go something like this: “Well, folks, just now I moved from a tornado in Kansas to the removal of restrictions on condom sales, and I’m blending directly into penguins in Antarctica. I’m doing Salvador Dali and you’re not noticing a thing.”

The anchor is basically saying to the audience, “I’m a few feet inside your personal landscape, your mind, feeding you all the turns in the river, and I’ll always be here…papering over the Void.”

Elite anchors invent and maintain certain tones of voice, certain rhythms, certain cadences, certain variations of musical pitch, in order to sustain the sense of continuity.

They’re mechanics of voice.

They use their skills to report the false facts handed down to conceal ops and staged events.

They can know they’re actors on television, but they can believe (in direct contradiction) they’re delivering the truth.

“Okay, look,” the producer says to the veteran actor he’s interviewing for the lead, in a billion-dollar production called the news. “This may sound strange, but you’re going to have to do Normal as it’s never been done before. That’s what the audience wants. You’ve got to come across as very, very smart and very, very Normal. Get it? Pretend you’re the brain of every other brain. You’re the conscience of every other conscience. You’re just as walled off from the conspiracy to own every inch of America as Americans are walled off from knowing about it. You know as little as they do. You’re clean, sanitary, loyal as a dog, dumb as fog but very smart. You spew absolute nonsense every second of your time on stage, but it sounds eminently plausible. You constantly change subjects, and the subjects are in no way related to each other, but you make it all Liquid Flow. It’s a joke. But you’re serious. And you’ll get rich.”

And people, with their inordinate and strange fear of dropping down into the gorgeous silence of Void, will watch and listen. They’ll roll up their sleeves and shoot themselves up with the news every night.

Here’s a parting tidbit: The early Tibetans, with their stout, strong, and implacable techniques and exercises, were artists of reality. They were saying, “If you practice inventing reality to the hilt, with great intensity, and then practice not inventing it, you’ll grasp the twin pillars of this existence. You’ll become immune to fear of the Void. You’ll recognize bullshit, on both the daily and cosmic levels, as you’ve never known them before. As a side effect, you’ll be able to analyze information with a keener gaze than you imagined was possible.”

Or you can have the network evening news.

Swami’s State of the Universe 2015

Cosmic Comic Pundit Swami Beyondananda Calls for Evolutionary Upwising

“Either we will have an awakening, or there will be a wake.”
– Swami Beyondananda

Greetings, Mirthlings!

Welcome to the state of the Universe — which is of course, everchanging, same as always.

Here we are once again in the here and now, just like last year at this time.

So … are you finally ready to live in the now?

Good. We have been waiting for you. What took you so long?

With time rapidly becoming a thing of the past (the calendar’s days are numbered, you know) people are living in the now like never before. Listen, I know. I was a futurist in a past life. But now, I have no time for time. I am living all the time in the Timeless Now. I think they call that All-Timers.

Meanwhile, here on Earth — or as it is known throughout the galaxies, the Comedy Channel — a critical mass of the heretofore uncritical masses are awakening to a serious truth. There’s something funny going on.

Take politics — please.

America’s two political parties spent $4 billion on the last election and it worked — the American people were soundly defeated. Once again the Golden Rule was overruled by the rule of gold, and the Constitution overrun by the prostitution. The result is government in greedlock and rule by a one-party system where we the people haven’t been invited to the party.

We don’t exactly have a name for this new system, although I think Futilism describes it pretty well. Thanks to government for hire, voting has devolved into an act of futility. Whether we vote Democratic or Republican, we seem to end up with Dempublicrats running things.

Now some mystics — pessimystics they are called — would look at this shituation and see a glass 95% empty. As an optimystic I take the exact opposite position. I see a glass 5% full.

Yes, there is good news.

An evolutionary upwising is afoot, and left and right are coming front-and-center around a new common sense consensus.

In Colorado and now two other states, this has meant legalizing cannabis. So what does this mean, other than in the Mile High State you can now legally get a mile higher? For one thing it means a blooming economy selling transcendental medication. Science is now finding that humans have THC receptors in the part of the brain called the “hippiecampus”. When this area is stimulated, people see farce fields and laugh at invisible jokes.

There’s an old saying — and I know it because I myself made it up many lifetimes ago — the truth shall upset you free. Once again in 2014, inconvenient truths exposed convenient lies. For example, now everyone knows our government is spying on us, and Public Enemy Number One appears to be none other than — the public. Maybe the NSA needs to be balanced out by another three-letter organization, the ICU — Independent Citizens United, where citizens who intensively care about the rule of law can say, “I see you” and begin to oversee what we have until now chosen to overlook.

From Monotheism to Stereotheism, and a REAL Conspiracy

There was another sign of the upwising in 2014. Pope Francis took a stand for social justice, making the Catholic Church more non-dominational. And boy, are those purebred dogma breeders upset! It just goes to show that maybe you CAN teach an old dogma, new tricks.

Maybe monotheism is evolving into stereotheism, where the same truth comes from multiple speakers, in many different languages, and some with no language at all.

After all, there is no harm in harmony, and no sin in synergy. And in the end, every dogma must answer to the same Master. Maybe if religions evolve in this way, John Lennon could imagine “no religion too” becoming “all religions true.”

And for those of us who want peace in the Middle East?

Let us first try peace in the Middle West. A first step is to quiet our own barking dogmas, and listen to the silence. Instead of just following the herd, follow the unheard … right into your own heart. Imagine, Americans from all tribes coming into the same space of silence, and breathing together. Now that would be a REAL conspiracy, and could expose and help us overgrow the con’s piracy we have now.

The evolutionary upwising calls on people everywhere to rise above the identity issues that each side serves up as dogma chow, and instead focus on the identical issues we face now — like being passengers and crew on Spaceship Earth, citizens and denizens of Gaia.

So, come on you Gaians!

Time to show your species’ pride. And time to evolve from children of God to adults of Good. Yes, I know. We are collectively in this awkward tween phase called addled-essence. Our essence has been addled by obsolete myth-conceptions.

A Three-Step Plan to Launch the Upwising

So, how do we un-addle our essence? How do we launch this upwising to turn the funk into function, and leave the junk at the junction?

I’m glad I asked that question.

I have created a three-step program that is mathematically proven to work four times faster than 12-step.

If we want to have an upwising, we must wake up … wise up … and show up.

We must wake up to the awful truth and the awesome opportunity. Yes the world is in serious condition, largely due to our conditioning to be serious. Seriously.

And if the problem is serious, then the solution has to be humorous, right? So we wake up laughing as we recognize that we’ve been running around in circles, chasing our tales. These tales usually tell us that happiness is somewhere “out there”. It’s a sure sign of the upwising when those who’ve been in hot pursuit of happiness get struck by enlightening and realize, “Gee, I must have run right past it.”

And in this moment of fool-realization, we fully realize our foolishness and laugh in our own face. This is called self-facing laughter, and it helps us illuminate our world from the inside out. People ask me all the time, “How can I uplift humanity?” I take one look at their doomy and gloomy expressions and I say, “You can begin by uplifting the corners of your mouth in a smile.” When you feel the levitational pull giving you a natural face-lift, you are literally overcoming gravity.

Hearty laughter brings us from the static of the head to the ecstatic of the heart, and we take the second step to upwising — we wise up loving. It has been said that the more we expand our hearts the less we will need to shrink our heads. Beliefs lie in our head, love lives in our heart. So … are you going to believe those lies? Or live that love? When you sacrifice being happy for being right, you know what they call it? Smartyrdom.

With laughter and love helping us wise to the occasion, we take the third step. We show up, living and giving. Each of us has been given a special gift, just for entering. So you are already a winner. We are all here to let our light fully shine — the enlightened ones call this full-filament. It is true that the unexamined life is not worth living, and equally true that the unlived life is not worth examining. To “show up” means to live life fully, and foolly, laughing all the way. Make a bucket list of all the undertakings you wish to undertake before being overtaken by the undertaker. Express your unique love in the world, and make your life a work of heart.

Bring your gift to the party, and show up for the greatest show on earth — REALITY! You know, reality. That’s reality TV without the TV. What a movie we’re in! A cast of 7 billion, and all of humanity is in the hero’s role. And the whole world is on the edge of its seat. Will we achieve critical mass before we reach critical massacre? Will there be an awakening, or a wake?

As the great baseball player / philosopher Willie Mays once said, “That’s what we’re going to play the game to find out.”

I end this 2015 State of the Universe with good news. When it comes to transformation, we have all the time in the world. And that time is now.

May we wake up laughing and leave laughter in our wake.

Fear of Death

Why are you afraid of death? Is it perhaps because you do not know how to live? If you knew how to live fully, would you be afraid of death? If you loved the trees, the sunset, the birds, the falling leaf; if you were aware of men and women in tears, of poor people, and really felt love in your heart, would you be afraid of death? Would you? Don't be persuaded by me. Let us think about it together. You do not live with joy, you are not happy, you are not vitally sensitive to things; and is that why you ask what is going to happen when you die? Life for you is sorrow, and so you are much more interested in death. You feel that perhaps there will be happiness after death. But that is a tremendous problem, and I do not know if you want to go into it. After all, fear is at the bottom of all this -fear of dying, fear of living, fear of suffering. If you cannot understand what it is that causes fear and be free of it, then it does not matter very much whether you are living or dead.
(J. Krishnamurti, The Book of Life)

Die Every Day

What is age? Is it the number of years you have lived? That is part of age; you were born in such and such a year, and now you are fifteen, forty or sixty years old. Your body grows old and so does your mind when it is burdened with all the experiences, miseries and weariness of life; and such a mind can never discover what is truth. The mind can discover only when it is young, fresh, innocent; but innocence is not a matter of age. It is not only the child that is innocent -he may not be- but the mind that is capable of experiencing without accumulating the residue of experience. The mind must experience, that is inevitable. It must respond to everything -to the river, to the diseased animal, to the dead body being carried away to be burnt, to the poor villagers carrying their burdens along the road, to the tortures and miseries of life- otherwise it is already dead; but it must be capable of responding without being held by the experience. It is tradition, the accumulation of experience, the ashes of memory, that make the mind old. The mind that dies every day to the memories of yesterday, to all the joys and sorrows of the past such a mind is fresh, innocent, it has no age; and without that innocence, whether you are ten or sixty, you will not find God.
(J. Krishnamurti, The Book of Life)

Sleepwalkers, Boiling Frogs and the Activated Awake

by Zen Gardner

To continue sleepwalking once someone knows the truth is not ignorance, it’s madness, as David Icke so aptly said. Anyone looking for happiness and fulfillment while helping to build a better world has plenty of options. But sitting still and just gazing at the oncoming storm, no matter how much you know about it, isn’t one of them.

To be able to describe something and think you understand it isn’t the grand finale. It’s responding to what the information is telling you to do that matters. Do you literally have to wait for the bulldozer, as so poignantly put in The Hitchhiker’ Guide to the Galaxy after you found out certain disaster was coming?

Again, that’s madness.

Granted, the effects of what’s coming will be felt worldwide so at the very least we need to make preparations where we are or in some better location. Not in fear, but in informed wisdom. But I have a hard time understanding anyone who doesn’t have the sense of urgency to put everything in motion that they’re being shown needs to be done. Once we make that decision and work towards the right direction a wonderful peace comes over us, and there will be plenty more to learn and do each step of the way.

There’s really no standing still once you begin to answer the call. Yes, there’s a wonderful stillness and confident knowing in spirit that are our ever present strength and refuge, but that doesn’t mean we do nothing when so many need encouragement, empowering information, resources and even awakening motivation.

Taking Action Doesn’t Necessarily Mean Relocating – But It Might

I get a lot of criticism for encouraging people to leave the US. I realize not everyone is able to do it, but for me I put feet to my convictions about what’s happening there and I’m glad I did. The relief from the bombarding influences there is immeasurable. Besides, it’s already more difficult to travel and get passports now as I warned, all while jumping through mounting surveillance, security checks, and impromptu requirements and shake downs at the whim of the metastasizing police state.

Why do you suppose they’re doing all of that?

Sure it’s ultimately more control, but why restrict travel or crossing borders, which we’ll be seeing more and more of? Yes, they want more money at every turn which is partially why they’re flagging anyone owing the IRS anything, but they also want to do the same to people with any outstanding debts. And pray tell how many people don’t have debt. The whole system is built on it.

It’s entrapment, because the mounting tide of awake Americans is one of their biggest threats.

If you have a roomful of cockroaches you need to exterminate, what do you do? Close the doors and windows so they can’t escape to another part of the house, and then most people will spray the hell out of them. Sound familiar? Check your skies, and food and water for that matter.

That’s how we’re viewed by the dark overlords, as pests. And America is enemy #1 to them, with the UK, Canada and Australia not far behind. The American entity that once stood for freedom must be weakened, dismantled and vastly depopulated, all while socially and genetically mutating the remainder of the species into an unquestioning transhumanized work force kept in carefully guarded and monitored city centers. This widely known plan is worldwide but some places are going to be way safer than others in the near future, and in fact they already are.

The California Drought Example

It’s said California only has one year of water left. While we know that situation has been brought on deliberately via geoengineering, fracking, massive bottling operations and host of other insanities, that’s 10% of the US population facing real peril, as well as almost half of the country’s fruit and vegetable production.

Where’s everyone going to go? Do you think they’ll just sit there and wait for FEMA trucks to bring water, and food? No doubt many will for various misguided reasons. But would you just sit there until your home is worth nothing and you have to flee with whatever you can fit in your car? And to where? And if you don’t think the government will go full on fascist during such a time and heavily restrict travel, look up the dust bowl disaster in the US and how those escaping starvation conditions weren’t even allowed INTO California where there was plenty for all.

This time they’ll no doubt make FEMA camps and even prison life look attractive with food, water and accommodations as they attract a free incarcerated labor force like so many have done in other totalitarian regimes. Some serious things to think about.

The Pizza Oven Dream

A many years ago I had a striking dream that woke me up out of a sound sleep. I was watching someone standing in front of a pizza oven in a dazed, transfixed state. He was a typical youngish overweight American just staring at the oven fire from about 4 feet away. But the fire was growing, steadily. And as it did he didn’t move. He was totally fixated into such a state he couldn’t even feel the heat.

As the fire grew in intensity I could see his flesh literally starting to cook. And he still didn’t flinch. At this point I was screaming at him at the top of my lungs imploring him to get out of there, and still nothing. The scene so horrified me it woke me up as I was screaming.

I was living in Southern California near the beach at the time and we were getting chemtrailed something fierce everyday. While I had my windows rolled up, air filters running and the air-con on recycle as I did on spray days, I was always befuddled and horrified by the hundreds of joggers, bikers and surfers I drove by with my windows up each day who were completely ignorant of their demise under their poisonous chemical skies.

This vivid dream was an expression of how I feel watching this horrific reality play out on the benumbed, completely unsuspecting masses, and quite appropriate for what I’m attempting to communicate here.

Answers – Inform Others and Build Community

Getting in touch with others doesn’t have to wait for anything, wherever we are. Now is the time to connect and meet up with like minded folks wanting to take appropriate action. This should be done as locally as possible – or else move to where there is an active and awake area or community you can be part of. That is, if you’re serious about what you have found out about the ensnaring world around you. If it’s just a semi-amusing side interest this probably won’t even affect you.

But it should.

Food freedom is essential for the days to come, as well as having a reliable water supply. But even more important is having a good support network of caring and capable people with similar outlooks and real spiritual insight and understandings.

And by the way, these types of groups and communities are all over the world and very awake as well as helpful to people expatriating from other countries.

One of the good spin offs of trying times is that it drives humanity to be resourceful and get back to more natural ways of living. As we connect to the earth and each other wonderful things happen. The ultimate solution is to live and build the world we want to see created. We are beings that were born to create. Living a life based in creativity and not partaking of the manipulated world’s media, mindsets and toxified environment as much as possible releases amazing energies that ripple out in more ways than we can conceive, including the morphic field.

If we’re serious about taking control of our lives the time is now. It’s always now, but it’s now more than ever, if you’re looking around you with even a modicum of awareness.

What can you do? The possibilities are as endless as life itself. They only remain to be pursued.

Just wait until you see what Universe has waiting for you!

Much love, Zen
