I Think Therefore I Manifest

You know the story of Schrödinger's cat, dear!

It's a bizarre experiment imagined in 1935.

Picture a cat locked in a box.

Impossible to see inside.

In this box, there's also a deadly poison.

And a mechanism that might release this poison... or not.

Nobody knows if the mechanism triggered.

So nobody knows if the cat died from poison... or is alive and healthy.

Here's where it gets crazy:

According to quantum science, as long as you don't open that box to check...

The cat is both at the same time.

Alive AND dead.

It's only when you open the box that you "force" reality to choose.

Either it's alive.

Or it's dead.

But before opening?

Both possibilities exist simultaneously.

Sounds insane, I know. But that's how the universe works.

What if I told you your life works the same way?

At every important moment, multiple versions of your future exist simultaneously.

The one that becomes real.

The one your vibrational frequency "chooses".

Concrete example...

You have the chance to make a big sum of money.

The person across from you says: "I'll think about it this weekend. I'll call you Monday."

Two versions of your future exist at the same time:

The "Dead Cat" Version:

The moment they hang up, you panic.

"What if they say no? What if they find it cheaper elsewhere?"

Weekend of anxiety.

You check your phone every 5 minutes.

Monday morning, you crack: "Hi! Did you have time to think about it?"

Result?

They sense your desperation.

Something bothers them.

They pull back: "I need to think about it more..."

Then they never get back to you.

The "Living Cat" Version:

They hang up. You breathe calmly.

"What's meant to happen will happen."

Peaceful weekend. You garden. You read. Zero stress.

Monday? No message sent. You work on your projects, confident.

2 PM, they call you: "It's a yes! When do we sign?"

Same situation.

Same person.

But two different energies.

You see?

When you vibrate:

Fear, doubt, impatience → You attract the "no's", the blocks, the escapes.

Calm, confidence, serenity → You attract the "yes's", the opportunities, the success.

At every moment, you're holding that box in your hands, dear!

It's not the world that decides your fate.

It's your vibrational frequency.

So next time an opportunity presents itself...

Ask yourself: what vibrational frequency are you on?

The one of fear... or the one of confidence?

Spiritually,

Your friend,

Daniel

We came for this purpose

(Art credit to: Tessa Mythos)

The only ceremony you need to do is accepting the powerful, infinite being YOU ARE by accepting it.

All your potentials is lying dormant until you do.

Returning to Our Divine Presence - Living the Pathless Pat.

We came for this purpose!

Priestess of the New Earth is serving beyond duality, in divine presence. The Essence of the Priestess is within. Her soul is Pure Awareness and connected with all that is. SHE is ALL. Priestess is not an identity nor a title. Priestess is not an archetype or model. She is a sparkle of creation and your souls essence in devotion and service to Gaia and Humanity.

The New Earth is vibrating in a consciousness beyond time, so there is no past, there is no future, only the co-creative moment of the Now. There is no good nor bad, everything IS, from a place were everything is held in Divine Love. She - the Priestess is serving from her sacred heart, and holding all and everyone in love. No more judging. No more Shaming. No more blaming. The Game is over. She has risen! She know who she is and why she is here.

Our ascension into our Greatest Light is truly the greatest service we can give to Gaia and humanity as we open the pathways into the new earth. We came for this purpose.

There are other ways to meditate besides those that are currently popular

How To Meditate: Tips From Lama Surya Das, The 'Buddha From Brooklyn'

June 8, 2015

(RNS) Lama Surya Das, the “Buddha from Brooklyn,” is one of the handful of Westerners who have been teaching meditation for decades. And yet, he says we’re doing it wrong.

“So many people seem to be moving narcissistically — conditioned by our culture, doubtless — into self-centered happiness-seeking and quietism, not to mention the use of mindfulness for mere effectiveness,” he said. True meditation, he said, generates wisdom and compassion, which may be very disquieting, at least in the short term.

Born Jeffrey Miller, Surya Das has had a spiritual journey that is remarkable in its breadth. He was given the name “Surya Das” by the Indian guru Neem Karoli Baba, made famous by Ram Dass more than 40 years ago. But Surya Das shifted gears in the early 1970s to Tibetan Buddhism, subsequently completing two three-year silent meditation retreats and becoming one of the first Westerners to be authorized as a Tibetan lama.

At the time, meditation was still considered pretty weird: foreign, exotic, hippie-ish. Now it’s everywhere. Meditation — especially mindfulness, which trains the mind to observe nonjudgmentally and attentively — has gone mainstream. In secular forms, it’s now widespread in health care, education, the corporate world, even the military. Each year, 1 million Americans take up the practice for the first time.

What does your gut say?

All of us have pretty much experienced a gut feeling or a hunch of instinctive knowing which felt just right! That grand AHA! moment that comes when you suddenly realize you weren’t listening to yourself all along. More frequently referred to as the “spidey sense”, intuition is our inner guidance system which unconsciously propels us to do something without a logical thought process. It is that inner voice that helps us gather the courage to find our true calling. It is the universe in disguise that talks to us through our intuition and steers us in the right direction. Steve Jobs called it, “more powerful than intellect.” Scientists have recently discovered that intuition stems from feelings that are generated by our heart centers as opposed to the intellect which stems from the mind center. Relying only on our intellect is not always the right way to get the most out of life. In order to make our best decisions, we need a balance of intuition and rational thinking. Our intuition is always there, whether we are aware of it or not at all times, always studying the situation and trying to guide us on to the right path. We all have goals in life which we believe will help us find happiness, whether it is making changes for self-improvement, which direction to take in our career, finding a life partner and so on. Our wants and desires maybe different but we all have the same unlimited access to our inner guidance through which we can all achieve a more fulfilling life. But the irony is — can we hear it? Are we paying attention or are we living a life that keeps the doorway to our intuition always blocked? So how do we tap into this inner voice? Here are some tips. Keep in mind that the fundamental secret is to trust that you have all the answers inside you.

1. Personal space

It is very important to allot some personal time to ourselves in order to tune in and listen to our inner guidance speaking to us. By learning to quiet all the outside voices, opinions and suggestions, you can listen to the quiet voice that comes from within. We are so busy with the everyday humdrum that we don’t often pause to slow down and take a moment to just BE. Meditation is a very effective tool to quieten and clear the mind from all the clutter. So is being in nature. When we are able to fully relax the mind and body, we are more open and receptive to the energies around us. Even 15–20 minutes of personal time dedicated to slowing down the mental chatter in our mind helps us to be more in tune with our inner guidance. In these few moments of silence, try to tune in and just observe your thoughts floating by without giving them any attention. If you are faced with a decision, notice how your body feels. Sometimes a choice might feel like a tight sensation in the stomach which usually is a strong ‘NO’ or you might feel a light floating sensation which is usually a strong ‘YES’. Once you start paying attention, your body will teach you it’s own cues.

2. Trust your feelings

Our feelings are our superpower. We don’t need to wait for life-and-death situations to start tuning in to our intuition. When your intuition speaks to you the next time through your feelings, start trusting it even when your mind says you don’t want to. If your intuition screams “don’t trust the new neighbor”, take note of it. Likewise, with new potential partners/friendships. Listen to your feelings so that you can realize your fullest potential as a person and as a whole. Also, our feelings are our most important cues to learn from our mistakes and grow. We all have had times when we wished we could rewind time and make a different choice. We all have experienced the feeling of regret that comes immediately after making a ‘not so right’ decision. No one likes regret. Maybe we did it out of compulsion or we were probably forced to do it for some reason. Whatever the reason, we start obsessing about why we made that decision. Next time you feel that guilt/regret creeping in, make a mental note and ask yourself, what is this feeling trying to teach me? When you learn to listen to yourself, the ability to control your own life is so powerful.

3. Be consciously aware

The universe not only speaks to us through our inner guidance but it also shows us many signs to let us know whether we are on the right path. The signs may come in many different ways in the forms of coincidences, synchronicities, repeating patterns etc. ‘Synchronicity’ is a term originally coined by Carl Jung, refers to the events in our lives that have meaning, yet cannot be explained. We call them miracles! In order to accept such synchronicities into our lives, we must learn to live consciously. When you don’t follow your intuition, your path gets harder. The events that follow after the wrong choice is made, tend to send us down the path of most resistance until we finally see the light. Once we learn to quieten our mind and surrender, the universe will guide us and show us the way. We start to become consciously aware of situations and activities in our life and the manner the universe is guiding us. You can also try playing with your intuition to sharpen it. Is the phone ringing? See if you can intuit who it is. Going to a football game? Can you intuit who will win?

4. Live an organized life

In order to make the best out of our inner guidance, we must try to manage and keep the clutter in our lives to a minimum. Our minds are often in a muddle with too many things to do on our list and not knowing where to start. It’s important that we find time to keep things organized so that we stay on top of things and don’t get too overwhelmed. My most favorite thing to do to stay organized is to keep a journal and write down a list of to-do items. As an experiment, write down a bucket list of items. Make three different lists and write down the things you want to achieve or complete this week, this month and this year. Write down everything: shopping lists for groceries, holiday gifts, home decor, work stuff and important dates like meetings and birthdays. Then write down what you need to do to achieve them. Make schedules and deadlines. Trying to remember things will not help you stay organized. Try to do one thing at a time and practice mindfulness while doing so. Multitasking only leads to more confusion and stress. Keeping your life organized also means keeping your things in their proper places. Declutter your home regularly and try to keep only what you need. A healthy environment leads to peace of mind which makes it much easier to be aligned with our true guidance.

With a little time and dedication, it is perfectly possible to find our inner voice and to learn to pay close attention to the signs. By feeding and nurturing our intuition and by living a life which is in alignment with our true desires, we have the ability to thrive in all walks of life. You will be amazed at how clearly you can be guided to a fun and fulfilling life.

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift” ~Albert Einstein~

Let it go!

Srujana Aedama

The mind is a complex thing. It constantly feeds on the past and future, almost never in this moment. Often, we spend too much time and energy trying to plan, prevent and predict what is going to happen, or what was supposed to happen, that we root ourselves in fear-based living. But what I learned is that when we try to control, it disconnects us from everything else. We close down our hearts and get imprisoned by whatever it is that we are trying to control. It’s not just with people but with life too. Most of the times, we find ourselves thinking about what we should have done differently and how we could have lived our lives, instead of focusing on what we can create in this moment. This impulse to control stems from the lack of trust in life. We believe that if we don’t control, life will fail us and those we love. The thing is, even if we succeed in controlling some things, by distrusting life we become disconnected from life itself. When we are disconnected from life, we are also unplugged from the source of creation. Our fears, worries and insecurities start to gain more power than love, peace and joy. So how can we access a deep connection to life? By trusting in the process of life and letting go. Trusting life does not mean that undesirable experiences will never happen, it means that if they do, you trust that whatever unfolds is for your highest good, and the highest good of those involved. Here are some techniques which help us through this process.

Practice being in the present

Look around you! Look at all the everyday miracles and life that there is. Listen to the rhythmic chirping of the birds when you wake up. Notice the good in people and acknowledge their efforts. Relish the gorgeous sunset on your way back home from work. Admire the moon for its beauty. Breathe in the fresh, flower-scented air deeply on your early morning hike and feel it in your lungs. Pause and listen to your heart beat. This moment is truly inevitable so be grateful and savor each moment for its uniqueness. Peace almost always arises when we can be fully present in the moment. Believe it or not, when we are in sync with all that is around us, in other words when we are in sync with the universe, it immediately brings us back into connection with who we really are. The power of letting go to the source of creation is a powerful way which lets you tap into the oneness and creative flow of the universe. This moment is the only only doorway to the creator and creativity. It means that you are opening up to better things that life has planned for you.

Surrender to the universe

Notice how all of these miracles work in harmony without our meddling? The planets, the tides, mother earth, the sun and the moon, all continue to to carry on their legacy. Even our breath does not wait for a signal. It goes on! The same source that created all these miracles also created us. Doesn’t it seem like the source of life knows what it is doing? The more we try to resist and control life, the more misaligned to life we become. When we lift that control, we allow magical things to happen. So why not surrender and let the universe do it’s thing? By surrendering, I do not mean giving up on your dreams or loved ones but to end any form of resistance. It means putting your heart into what you want to create and then letting go without trying to control the outcome. To surrender to your emotions without resisting them but also being aware of them at the same time. To surrender is to stop fighting the natural flow of life and just let life unfold the beautiful story that it has in store for you. Surrendering is powerful, liberating and life enhancing. When you get to a place of surrender, higher guidance flows freely through you and your creativity will gain momentum.

Accept the moment

We hear a lot of advice around us to make peace with the past, let go and move on. If only life was that simple, sigh! It’s no use denying that past experiences have had no effect on who we are now. Letting go does not mean repressing or pushing away our feelings. People who deny the effect of past experiences can get caught in a strategy of self-protection that involves dismissing or ignoring strong emotions and tend to experience the same symptoms as those who struggle with anxiety. Such things can come back to bite us where we least expect it. I believe that some things had to happen the way they did as soul lessons for our spiritual growth. The best thing to do is to bless them for having served us and let them go in a healthy manner. How do we do this? Through acceptance of the moment. The more we resist the situation which is beyond our control, the more we suffer. But when we completely accept the moment as it is, then there wouldn’t be any suffering. If you think about it, happiness occurs because we are completely accepting something that is happening at that moment. It’s not about external events making you happy but it is about completely accepting the moment the way it is. Accept yourself and the situation, understand how it affected you and how it served you in your growth process. Also make sure to place it where it belongs — in the past.

What is the lesson?

One of the most beautiful gifts we can give to ourselves is the willingness to open up ourselves to understand why and how certain things happened and what is the lesson in it for us to learn. Acknowledging that there is a soul lesson to learn in every undesirable situation is where half of the healing happens. Have you noticed undesirable patterns repeating themselves again and again in your lives? That is the universe’s way of telling us that there is still a lesson to be learned and acknowledged from the situation. The hardest most painful part of our life might end up leading us someplace more powerful. When we are open to life’s unexpected blessings, we are led to what we need.

Release attachments to thoughts

Once the lesson is learnt, the most important thing to do is to let go of all attachments to our thoughts. The secret is to not let our thoughts run or control us. Instead what we have under our control is THIS moment and the power to make different choices, to think in different ways and create the life we want. It is important to let go of negative thoughts and turn our focus into thoughts that empower us to create a happy and content life. By letting go of negative thoughts, you are also releasing the mental and emotional attachments which originate from the thoughts. This can be a very challenging and on-going process but slowly the thoughts will begin to lose power over you. Letting go is not a one-time thing. It is a practice that requires dedication to the process of life until you reach a state of wakefulness. The more you do it, the easier it becomes.

The Ultimate Distraction

“There is nothing worse for the lying soul than the mirror of reality.” Steve Maraboli, Unapologetically You: reflections on life and the Human Experience

Encyclopedia Britannica defines distraction as: something that makes it difficult to think or pay attention.

Something that amuses or entertains you so that you do not think about problems, work, etc.

A state in which you are very annoyed or upset.

Distraction…it’s everywhere in our materialistic culture. It shouts at us through our friends and relatives, cell phones, the TV, our computers, facebook, twitter, comment sections, politics, fake news and the entertainment or distraction industry. We live in fear of a dozen kinds of holocausts; climate change, solar shot, methane, pole shift, ice age, pollution, nuclear war, terrorism, disease, poverty, poisonous food and water. The list of nebulous terrors waiting to engulf us is endless and many spend their lives distracting themselves to cover up there fear and apprehension of what might lie ahead.

There is so much information, disinformation and distraction in the media and our every day lives, it's enough to make our heads spin...and spin they do. It's no wonder we live in a state of confusion/distraction and information overload.

The busy mind

The mind of Impostor Consciousness[see my article] cannot be quiet and has to be constantly distracted. It has no inner being, cannot observe itself, and can only live through our emotions: our loves, intrigues and entanglements, our disappointments, fear and woes. It is a shell of desire, and when not tempered with spiritual understanding creates conflict within and without, for physical reality is nothing more than a mirror of human thinking.

Many people are busy prisoners of their beliefs, and often try to force their dogma on others. They are blinkered and blinded by the narrow spectrum of awareness about what is true or false, and many question nothing, they just accept what is dictated to them by their peers and absorb the lies as if they were the truth. The idea that we have been hoodwinked by deceptive information and blatant lies from 'those in charge' is often met with dismay and denial by our frail ego's. Many of us can't accept the challenge of information contrary to our programming and are quick to jump on the bandwagon of scorn and ridicule. In our self conceit, we can't be bothered to be our own investigators, find out for ourselves whether the dogma we carry is true or even belongs to us! We allow our minds to be invaded and distracted with other people's theories and conjecture, and if we can make it fit our beliefs we tend to look no further. We don't realise that our minds no longer belong to us, and that from the cradle to the grave, we are sleeping slaves of a matrix of control.

The distraction of intellectual bullshit

Intellectual bullshit is a billion dollar industry; a self important salve for the busy mind that cannot face itself. Billions of dollars are wasted in re-hashing outdated paradigms and tweaking the results to keep the boat of bull shit steady, and when the truth is presented, it's immediately dismissed by the experts because they all want to stay at number one in their respective fields. One example of this intellectual blindness is genetic modification.

The distraction of playing god

The materialistic mind of Impostor Consciousness believes in a mechanical reality where everything can be reduced to numbers and equations, but lacks the intuitive capabilities and spiritual understanding exemplified by Pythagoras and Plato. Most 'accepted' scientists and experts are blind to the fact that there is an underlying energetic connection between every organism on the planet. They do not realise that any interference with the 'original blueprint' of a animal or plant will cause stress and energetic discord within the vibratory pattern of the whole.

Genetic modification

Human kind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread in it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect. Chief Seattle.

Our reality is dual and the Law of Nature is predator and prey, and just as lions pick off the sick and weak, so do the bugs. A sick plant like a sick person attracts the undertaker. Any organism giving off a negative field will attract a predator to destroy it.

Nature's undertakers

Genetically modified crops give off bad vibes, and the reason they are failing worldwide is because they no longer resonate in harmony with the natural world, the resonant web of life...and how does nature deal with them...she destroys them. It doesn't matter how much poison is sprayed to control pests whether they be insect or viral, they dance to a different drummer. In line with the matrix programme and the Cosmic Law of Balance, it is frequency that calls the tune.

So called pests are nature's undertakers and they have a job to do. If crops give off a sick energetic field they will be called upon by the matrix to destroy them no matter what we do. Poisoned insects transmit information about the toxins to their eggs and the next wave is immune, we call them super pests. And so it goes on: the pesticides become stronger and the super pests mutate into super super pests.

The upshot is that the intellectual bullshit of so called experts will lead to mass starvation.

The ultimate distraction

Impostor Consciousness and its reality is the ultimate distraction. It is the love affair with the ego self that wants to be king or queen of whatever jungle; to be a winner, to be on top in the world of glamour, sensation and self gratification. And, the third dimension is its geometric fractal backdrop for self congratulatory consciousness and the sensory driven game of ‘us and them.’

Mindset of the game

This materialistic mindset of' me versus you' and 'us versus them' has soaked every inch of grass on this planet in the blood of mankind. Age after age its the same bloody story of conquest and greed, and the harvesting of human emotion takes place on every level of our being. It's called the Loosh Rote.[see my article Meet the Firm]

For more information on the sacrificial nature of our reality
Holographic Disclosure 10 The Sacrificial energy.

The who dunnit distraction

There are all kinds of theories[and they are just that] about what has created the sacrificial dual world of which we are part; we want to know who the villain is, the creator of the human farm, and there are many faerie tales to fill in all the details, and vast amounts of money made printing bullshit to further distract our minds. Does it matter who built the fractal geometric matrix? Does does it matter who or what enslaved mankind and chained us in a narrow band of frequency, a prison for the mind? Whether it be an archon; a reptilian frequency pattern; a parasite that changes our reality to fit its needs; it really doesn't matter.

A being of frequency

What does matter is the fact that the architect of the matrix, the bane of mankind and all living things is a being of frequency, it has an energetic signature...the signature of the matrix. And, as long as we resonate within the parameters of its energy we are caught like flies in a spiders web where every negative thought and deed is calculated in the balance sheet of karma and drags us back life after life into the matrix reality of predator and prey.

Who needs prison bars when we exist in a self determined electronic prison!

The other side of the coin and the quiet mind

'My young men shall never work. Men who work cannot dream, and wisdom comes in dreams. Smohalla.

Holographic reality

Quantum physics has proven that energetic fields create our 'solid world' and suggests that we live inside a computor simulated virtual reality, a synthetic world of fractal geometry, that because of our body sensors and mental conditioning, we think is real...solid matter, and for the intent and purpose of the game of 'us and them', it is. We are a physical being in a physical world and many of us are so absorbed in the 'real life' we have no idea about our secret energetic reality. We are so busy with the fast game of life, totally involved with the material world of work, family, the matrix game of opposites, and the drama of existence that engulfs us everyday, that for many, spiritual reality does not exist. We have lost contact with our inner being and have no time for the quiet mind, no space to hear the small voice of our souls.

The tool kit

Ascending the vibration of this violent and contradictory world is about frequency...not ego; getting for self; or holding onto the anchor weight of dogma and one's self importance. It is about liberation of the mind; shaking free from the Impostor Consciousness of materialism and exploitation, and re-connecting to the planet and its creatures.

For those who are interested in speeding up the vibratory rate of their consciousness there are several tools that help.

Flesh free diet...live and let live

Vegetarianism versus carnivorism is another playing field for the battle of 'me versus you' and many 'spiritual' people will defend their right to eat the dead flesh of animals and think they are still spiritual.[now there's a distraction for you] What they don't realise is that the flesh of murdered animals contain fear fields, a slow and poisonous vibration that is an anchor weight and death knell for ascending consciousness. There can be no ascension into higher moving fields of energy for a ghoul.

Sonic re-patterning

Birth into this reality is in itself a trauma and the attack on our divine nature never stops until the 'box beckons'. Is it possible to re-pattern the trauma of the past, neutralise the energy of our pain? The answer is yes. Sonic re-patterning of the chakra fields using Pythagorean intervals is a great tool to lighten our energetic load, clear our minds of fear and the noise of distraction. See my article Symphony of Self.

Profiling of the Atlas bone

The atlas is the first cervical vertebra, and is named after the mythological giant who carries the world on his shoulders. Many people have the atlas bone in a position of malrotation with a tilt to the left.
This can be rectified by the profiling of the atlas bone. http://www.atlasprofilax.com

This picture shows a misaligned Atlas to the left side. The rotation causes a reduction in the diameter of the aperture at the base of the skull and vertebral canal. This disrupts the normal flow of information between the brain and body through the vertebral and carotid arteries, and the lymphatic system, the cerebrospinal fluid, the meningeal system and the spinal cord.

Tai Chi, meditation, yoga and martial arts

Yoga and martial arts help tone our bodies and discipline our minds.

Sun gazing

Entrainment by the sun allows us to shut off the internal chatter of our ego and experience the quiet mind. See my article The Occult Sun.

These tools help to give greater clarity to our thinking, speed up our rate of vibration and bring us into harmony with all life on the planet.

The choice is ours....

Self Distraction by Saqib Hussain

Distractions are so many
And when they seem to decrease
We constantly search for more
As if trying to shut out
That persistent guiding voice
Sounding from our truest core
And to describe this further
Please think of the following
Useful metaphor:The sound of raindrops on your window –
The brief, intermittent, short pauses between them
Are the brief pauses of thought you sometimes have
Of your deepening loss and struggling way
Before you so quickly flood your mind with other thoughts
And keep busy with other, less important
(What is more important than saving the soul?) Thoughts and actions.
Constant self-distraction
Is constant self-delusion
And constant self-harm.

Understanding What Is

Surely, a man who is understanding life does not want beliefs. A man who loves, has no beliefs, he loves. It is the man who is consumed by the intellect who has beliefs, because intellect is always seeking security, protection; it is always avoiding danger, and therefore it builds ideas, beliefs, ideals, behind which it can take shelter. What would happen if you dealt with violence directly, now? You would be a danger to society; and because the mind foresees the danger, it says, "I will achieve the ideal of nonviolence ten years later"- which is such a fictitious, false process. To understand what is, is more important than to create and follow ideals because ideals are false, and what is is the real. To understand what is requires an enormous capacity, a swift and unprejudiced mind. It is because we don't want to face and understand what is that we invent the many ways of escape and give them lovely names as the ideal, the belief, God. Surely, it is only when I see the false as the false that my mind is capable of perceiving what is true. A mind that is confused in the false can never find the truth.

Therefore, I must understand what is false in my relationships, in my ideas, in the things about me, because to perceive the truth requires the understanding of the false. Without removing the causes of ignorance, there cannot be enlightenment; and to seek enlightenment when the mind is unenlightened is utterly empty, meaningless. Therefore, I must begin to see the false in my relationships with ideas, with people, with things. When the mind sees that which is false, then that which is true comes into being and then there is ecstasy, there is happiness.

Why Culture and Society Banned Psychedelic Plants

Each individual has the power to become great, to become special by understanding the core of his or her existence. However, society and culture have taken some of that power away through actions such as prohibition of the use of psychedelic plants. The powers that be aren’t concerned about whether or not people jump out of windows or that public health is deteriorating. They just don’t want people to take back their own minds.

“You have to take seriously the notion that understanding the universe is your responsibility, because the only understanding of the universe that will be useful to you is your own understanding.”

There is no end to learning; therefore, there is no despair

The mind that would really understand what is true, the real - the extraordinary state of mind that comprehends that thing called truth - must have, psychologically, no fear of any kind. A mind which would really understand, take a journey into the most extraordinary thing called reality and go deeply into it where there is no measure, no time, no illusion, no imagination - must be completely free from fear. And, therefore, such a mind is always living, neither in the past nor in the future.

A mind that is aware of all the things that are connected with fear is not concerned with the past but, as the past arises, it deals with it, not as a steppingstone to the future. Therefore, such a mind is living in the active present and, therefore, comprehends every movement of thought, feeling, fear, as it arises. There is a great deal to learn: there is no end to learning; therefore, there is no despair, no anxiety. This you must have completely in your blood so that you are never caught in the things that have been done or that will be done in the future, so that you are never held in time as thought. It is only the mind that has emptied itself of all this fear that is empty. Then, in that emptiness, it can understand that which is supreme and nameless.

Magic and depression

“The function of the artist is to provide what life does not.” —Tom Robbins, Another Roadside Attraction

“Those people who recognize that imagination is reality’s master we call ‘sages,’ and those who act upon it, we call ‘artists.’” —Tom Robbins, Skinny Legs and All

In the human psyche, from the moment a newborn baby emerges into the light of day, he/she has a desire for magic.

We are told this is an early fetish that fades away as the experience of the world sets in. As maturity evolves. As practical reality is better understood.

In most areas of psychology, sensible adjustment to practical reality is a great prize to be won by the patient. It marks the passage from child to adult. It is hailed as a therapeutic triumph.

In truth, the desire for magic never goes away, and the longer it is buried, the greater the price a person pays.

A vaccine against a disease can mask the visible signs of that disease, but under the surface, the immune system may be carrying on a low-level chronic war against toxic elements of the vaccine. And the effects of the war can manifest in odd forms.

So it is with the inoculation of reality aimed at suppressing magic.

One of the byproducts of the “reality shot” is depression.

The person feels cut off from the very feeling and urge he once considered a hallmark of life. Therefore, chronic sadness. Of course, one explains that sadness in a variety of ways, none of which gets to the heart of the matter.

It is assumed that so-called primitive cultures placed magic front and center simply because “they couldn’t do better.” They didn’t have science, and they couldn’t formulate a “true and rational” religion with a church and monks and collection plate and a European choir and an array of pedophiles.

Historically, the impulse for magic had to be defamed and reduced and discredited. Why? Obviously, because the Westerners who were poking through ancient cultures had already discredited magic in themselves—they had put it on a dusty shelf in a room in a cellar beyond the reach of their own memory. But they couldn’t leave it alone. They had to keep worrying it, scratching it, and so they journeyed thousands of miles to find it somewhere else—and then they scoffed at it and tried to crush it.

And we wonder why, under the banner of organized religion, there has been so much killing. At a deep level, the adherents know they’ve sold their souls and they’re depressed, angry, resentful, remorseful, and they want to assuage and expiate their guilt through violence.

But the urge for magic is forever.

And yet the charade goes on. While paying homage and lip service to ordinary practical reality seasoned with a bit of fairy-tale organized religion, people actually want to change reality, they want to reveal their latent power, they want to create realities that, by conventional standards, are deemed impossible.

They want to find and use their own magic.

In our modern culture, we’re taught that everything is learned as a system. That, you could say, is the underlying assumption of education. It has far-reaching consequences. It leads to the systematizing of the mind. The mind is shaped to accommodate this premise.

“If I want to know something, I have to learn it. Somebody has to teach it to me. They will teach it as a system. I will learn the system. I will elevate the very notion of systems. Everything will be a system.”

In the long run, that gets you a lump of coal in a sock, a spiritual cardboard box to live in.

The intellectual enrolls at Harvard, he studies anthropology for six years, he flies to a jungle in South America, he digs up remnants of a lost culture, he infers they performed arcane ceremonies six times a week, he writes monographs—and he concludes they were a very picturesque society with fascinating customs and totems, and their brand of magic can best be understood as an inevitable consequence of their matriarchal organization, which itself was an accommodation to rainfall levels.

Back home, the anthropologist takes two Paxil and goes off to teach a class on the meaning of ancient eyebrow trimming in Tierra del Fuego.

Systems are wonderful things. They produce results. They take us into technological triumphs. They help us become more rational. But when they are overdone, when the mind itself becomes shaped like a system, it reaches a dead-end. Then the mind works against the unquenchable desire for magic. Then society is organized as a tighter and tighter system and turns into a madhouse.

And then people say, “Maybe machines can actually think and choose and decide. Maybe machines are alive. What would happen if we grafted computers on to our brains? It might be wonderful.”

People move in this direction after their own minds have been shaped, like putty, into systems. They don’t see much difference between themselves and machines.

The desire for magic in every individual is squelched. So the first order of business is the restoration of imagination, from which all magic flows. Imagination is sitting there, always ready, waiting.

Imagination is saying, “The mind has been shaped into a system? I can undo that. I can liberate the mind and make it into an adventurous vessel. I can provide untold amounts of new energy.”

Life is waiting for imagination to revolutionize it down to its core.

Since imagination is a wild card that technocrats can’t absorb in their systems, they pretend it a faculty produced by the action of atoms in the brain. They pretend it is a delusion that can be explained by demonstrating, for example, that a machine can turn out paintings. Or poems.

“You see? We don’t need humans to make art. Computers can do just as well. Imagination isn’t mysterious at all.”

Technocracy and transhumanism flow from the concept that the human being is just another machine. And any machine can be made to operate more efficiently.

Meanwhile, imagination waits. It never vanishes. It stands by, just in case an individual decides to live a life that overflows with creative power.

If my work in this area has any organized precedent, it is ancient Tibet where, 1500 years ago, before the priests took over with their interminable spiritual baggage of ritual, practitioners engaged in exercises that engaged imagination to the hilt.

The entire goal was revealing that the Universe was ultimately a product of mind.

This was not about ultimate worship. This was not about some deep substrate in the Universe that one could plug into, to guide his actions and thought. It was about liberating the individual from all systems. It was about endless creation.

The first teachers of this Way came from India, where they had been pushed out of the academies of orthodox religious instruction. They were rebels. They had offloaded the metaphysical labyrinths of control. They were, in a sense, artists. Artists of reality.

They were brilliant riverboat gamblers, and in Tibet, for a time, they found a home.

They found students who, as now, were tired of the preaching designed to make humans into sophisticated mind-machines.

These people wanted more. They wanted to awaken their own imaginations and exceed the illusory boundaries of space and time.

They wanted magic.

Despite every cynical ploy, that desire is still alive.

A mind which is a light to itself needs no experience

What an extraordinary thing meditation is. If there is any kind of compulsion, effort to make thought conform, imitate, then it becomes a wearisome burden. The silence which is desired ceases to be illuminating. If it is the pursuit of visions and experiences, then it leads to illusions and self-hypnosis. Only in the flowering of thought and so ending thought does meditation have significance. Thought can only flower in freedom, not in ever-widening patterns of knowledge. Knowledge may give newer experiences of greater sensation but a mind that is seeking experiences of any kind is immature. Maturity is the freedom from all experience; it is no longer under any influence to be or not to be.

Maturity in meditation is the freeing of the mind from knowledge, for knowledge shapes and controls all experience. A mind which is a light to itself needs no experience. Immaturity is the craving for greater and wider experience. Meditation is the wandering through the world of knowledge and being free of it to enter into the unknown.

To awaken this energy, the mind must have no resistance

Now, how do we awaken in ourselves an energy that has its own momentum, that is its own cause and effect, an energy that has no resistance and does not deteriorate? How does one come by it? The organized religions have advocated various methods, and by practicing a particular method one is supposed to get this energy. But methods do not give this energy. The practice of a method implies conformity, resistance, denial, acceptance, adjustment, so that whatever energy one has is merely wearing itself out. If you see the truth of this, you will never practice any method. That is one thing. Secondly, if energy has a motive, an end towards which it is going, that energy is self-destructive. And for most of us, energy does have a motive, does it not? We are moved by a desire to achieve, to become this or that, and therefore our energy defeats itself. Thirdly, energy is made feeble, petty, when it is conforming to the past -and this is perhaps our greatest difficulty. The past is not only the many yesterdays but also every minute that is being accumulated, the memory of the thing that was over a second before. This accumulation in the mind is also destructive of energy.

So, to awaken this energy, the mind must have no resistance, no motive, no end in view, and it must not be caught in time as yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Then energy is constantly renewing itself and therefore not degenerating. Such a mind is not committed, it is completely free, and it is only such a mind that can find the unnameable, that extraordinary something which is beyond words. The mind must free itself from the known to enter into the unknown.
