The Legend of the Nine Unknown Men was popularized for the first time through the book The Nine Unknown written by Talbot Mundy in 1927 who served as a member of the British police force in India for twenty-five years.

There are many conspiracy theories abounding about various secret societies of which umpteen are well-known to the modern society but perhaps the most ancient of all are the legends surrounding the existence of the Nine Unknown Men. The origins of this intellectual secret organization lies in mystical India, these men are known to be saviors of the world as they possess vast knowledge on various fields that work for the benefit of mankind. There have been claims that numerous historic figures from around the world have come in contact with these enlightened few and acquired mysterious alchemical practices.

Among the conspiracy theorists, this secret organization is one of the most quondam and most potent secret orders in the world.

Brief History

Emperor Ashoka or Ashoka the Great belonged to the expansionist Maurya dynasty and ruled India from 269 BCE to 232 BCE. He was also the grandson of the legendary Chandragupta Maurya who was the first emperor to unify India. 

► Ashoka was known to be a brutal, ambitious, cold, and despotic ruler who waged bloody wars to annexe kingdoms. On one such occasion he led a heavy carnage while waging war with Kalinga and killed over 100,000 men who resisted his rule. The resulted mayhem caused Ashoka to change his heart for good and he converted himself to Buddhism.

► Walking under the counsel of the Brahmin Buddhist sages Radhaswami and Manjushri he applied his position to spread the comparatively new spiritual philosophy to great heights.

► He realized that the key to maintain eternal peace would be to conceal the scientific knowledge and forbid it from getting into the wrong hands.

► Thus to avoid complete annihilation of mankind due to advanced scientific techniques he formed the secret society of the Unknown Nine Men in 270 BCE.

Tasks

The members were believed to be eminent scientists of that period and under them all cutting-edge natural scientific secrets past, present, and future were sworn to secrecy. Membership was to be renewed strictly by co-option to avoid unfit lineage.

► The Nine were obligated by Emperor Asoka to project an underdeveloped and mystical India in the eyes of the world so as to preserve the sophisticated scientific approach within its boundaries. All the researches and scientific growth were therefore concealed behind the collective mask of supernatural forces and events.

► Some versions of the legend state that the ancient Rama Empire and the Atlantis engaged in nuclear warfare over 15000 years ago bought an end to both the civilizations. This event has been recorded in Hindu scriptures that describes the use of modern weaponry during the said war. Hence Ashoka instructed the Nine to obliterate these facts as well. 

► The Nine are forbidden from social interactions and their identity is permanently hidden from the public eye. They never engage themselves in any religious or political contraventions. Their prime aim is to protect and create beneficial aids for mankind.

► Each of them has been entrusted with the task of amending, updating, and defending a single book of knowledge that deals with different subjects respectively.

The Nine Books

Propaganda and Psychological Warfare: This book compiles the study of governing masses through hypnotic propaganda and messages, the ability to create wars by diverting public opinion. This method is identified as one of the most dangerous sciences, if mastered one can rule the world.

► Physiology: This book contains instructions on various ancient martial art techniques, study of organisms, and creatures. It also includes commands on how to perform the "touch of death" a martial art technique that can impale a human being with less physical effort, it has been rumored that the wrestling style Judo is a leaked product of this book.

► Microbiology: This book contains the secrets of Biotechnology, legends abound that the waters of the Ganges are purified with special microbes or bacteriophages which are created by the Nine and ejected into the river from a hidden base in the Himalayas. It is conceived that due to the water's purifying properties, throngs of pilgrims suffering from wretched diseases bathe in the water and get healed.

► Alchemy: This book contains instructions on performing ancient alchemical rituals for the transformation of metals especially to obtain gold and metallurgy. In India, there have been persistent legends about temples and religious organizations receiving large amounts of gold from unknown sources during drought and natural calamities, whereas the fact remains that India has very few gold mines.

► Communication: This book deals with instructions on how to communicate with extraterrestrials, how to benefit from teleportation, and other forms of unknown media.

► Gravitation: This book contains laws of Gravitology and moving large objects on a large distance by applying its principles. It also contains directions to build a Vimana (UFO) based on Gravitology principles that can travel through outer space.

► Cosmology: This book mentions the capability of traveling at extraordinary speeds through spacetime framework, and includes secrets of time-travel; including intra- and inter-universal trips.

► Light: This book contains the instructions to use the speed of light as a weapon by focusing it in a certain direction. More broadly, it is a categorized study of controlling the cosmo-telluric subtle energy, atmospheric energy, and nerve impulses.

► Sociology: This book includes patterns pertaining to the evolution of societies and how to foretell their downfall.

Contact with the outside World

Legend has it that the members have always been prominent Indian scientists, pioneer of Radio and Microwaves Optics Jagdish Chandra Bose and pioneer of Indian space and missile defense programs Vikram Sarabhai were believed to be its members. Westerners Pope Sylvester II and French physician and bacteriologist Alexandre Yersin have been rumored to come in contact with them.

► Pope Sylvester II

Pope Sylvester II, also known as Gerbert d'Aurillac was a Benedictine monk, he was also a professor at the University of Rheims, Archbishop of Ravenna and the Holy See. After spending time in Spain he took up a mysterious voyage towards India, reaching there he acquired supernatural skills that evoked mass admiration from his peers in Vatican. For instance, he possessed a bronze head which answered YES or NO to questions on topics related to politics or Christianity, it was so accurate that it executed by an automaton similar to modern binary machines. This "sorcerous" head was spifflicated when Sylvester died, and all the knowledge it transmitted was cautiously concealed and kept in the Vatican library. Strangely in October 1954, in the cybernetics journal, Computers and Automation a compelling comment appeared: "We must suppose that he (Sylvester) was possessed of extraordinary knowledge and the most remarkable mechanical skill and inventiveness. This 'speaking' head must have been fashioned under a certain conjunction of stars occurring at the exact moment when all the planets were starting on their courses.'' 

► Louis Jacolliot

The Nine resurfaced again in the occult writings of French writer Louis Jacolliot, he served as the French Consul at Calcutta under the Second Empire. He wrote many prophetic books and is compared to Jules Verne, many of his occult secrets have been borrowed by occult writers, prophets, and miracle-workers. Jacolliot stated categorically in his works the existence of the Society of Nine and connected them to unimaginable scientific feats like the liberation of energy, sterilization by radiation, and psychological warfare.

► Alexandre Yersin

French physician and bacteriologist Alexandre Yersin who was a close associate of Louis Pasteur and de Roux's, is rumored to have been confided with certain biological enigmas when he visited Madras in 1890, and following these instructions he was able to develop a serum against cholera and the plague.

Even Prime Ministers and Presidents don’t stand a chance against conspirators, hired assassins and back-stabbers in the big bad world of intelligence agencies— do they? Indira Gandhi was killed by her own body Guards, Rajiv Gandhi was killed by a lady packaged as a human bomb, Premadasa too could see death shaking hands with him as a suicide bomber. But with many things starting to happen – like the demolition of Babri Masjid after – Mossad was allowed in India – India has reasons to ask whether Mossad is really its best friend or trouble-creator No 1?

The decision to establish diplomatic relations with Israel was taken by P V Narasimha Rao in 1992, 

on the advice of Chandraswami—a known Mossad supporter. Chandraswami – a 25 year old friend was almost a VIP with special access to Rao's official residence, 7 Race Course Road. 

Chandraswami’s other admirers included Chandrasekhar, Laloo Prasad Yadav, Romesh Bhandari, Sultan of Brunei, arms dealer Adnan Kashoggi, former Miss-India Pamella Bordes and Elizabeth Taylor. 

Till 1991 every Prime Minister- Nehru, Indira and Rajiv had opposed the idea of giving a freehand to Mossad-CIA in India. Both Indira and her son Rajiv had put their foot down on Mossad and Israel. As a result Israel and South Africa were the only two places on the map where Indian passport holders were not allowed. This remained so till Rao became PM after Rajiv’ assassination. 

Mossad meaning "Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations” is Israel’s intelligence agency for covert operations and counter terrorism. Mossad, Aman (military intelligence) and Shin Bet (internal security) are the three domestic and external intelligence agencies directly under Israeli Prime Minister. Indira Gandhi who had voted against Israel in international forums, shot down several proposals to allow Mossad and RAW to work together. Prior to 1992, Indira Gandhi had denied friendship status to Israel, voted against it in international forums and reject proposals to allow Mossad and RAW to work together. Indira Gandhi, allegedly warned Srilankan President J.R. Jayewardene of his mistake of allowing Mossad to interfere in Sri Lanka. In a telephone conversation on 5 August Indira Gandhi described this as an attempt to ‘isolate India’ in the region and strongly disapproved of Sri Lanka seeking external military support. She was concerned that Tamil militants should not find ‘patrons’ inimical to India's interests, or did not start making their secessionist demand a reality which would have had avoidable, disastrous consequences in Tamil Nadu. But within two months she was killed by her bodyguards. Assassinations are sanctioned in the Mossad and IDF ideology as targeted killings. The justification is that it’s better to kill one person than to let 100 people get killed in future. It is said to be used only when there is no way of preventing the future acts of violence. Even then it is to be practiced with minimal risk to the soldiers or civilians, after properly identifying the target and ensuring minimum harm to people nearby. This is what theory preaches.

Mossad and CIA have a reputation of causing chaos and inflaming subversive activities in several countries. Mossad had secretly planned a strike on Pakistan’s nuclear base at Kahuta near Islamabad from India’s Jamnagar base in 1983-84. The plan had to abandoned when Gen Zia ul Haq got Munir Ahmed, Chairman, Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission to warn Dr Raja Ramanna, Director, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre that if Kahuta was hit, Islamabad would retaliate by attacking Trombay. Indira immediately ordered everything to stop, though there were people who did not like it. 

Around this time, Jonathan Pollard, a civilian in U.S. Navy was arrested for spying by FBI. Ben-ami Kadish who retired from Armament Research and Development Center also admitted to passing classified documents on F-15 jets and Patriot missile air defense system to Yosef Yagur in the Israeli consulate. Yagur was the handler for both Pollard and Kadish. America was shocked by the technological espionage ring-- under its very nose. Rafi Eytan -- the mastermind, was a close friend of Ariel Sharon and head of Israeli intelligence agency LEKEM and Scientific Relations Office. Americans feared that a larger spy ring and more people might be compromised by the Israelis. It was an eye-opener as to what really happens between friendly countries. After Pollard’s arrest Eitan resigned; Scientific Relations Office was disbanded and Israel promised never to involve in any intelligence activity on American soil. Rafi Eytan- was dispatched to Sri Lanka as an employee of Israeli Chemical Industries. In actuality he was to take over Mossad operations in Sri Lanka. 

Rajiv’s death is attributed to a sinister conspiracy hatched between Chandraswami, Adnan Khashoggi, Mossad and CIA. The MC Jain commission report relied on evidence provided by former cabinet secretary Zafar Saiffullah and wireless communication intercepts between Israel and Jaffna to establish Chandraswami's involvement. Chandraswami’s grudge was that Rajiv Gandhi did not give him as much importance as he used to get in PMO during Chandrasekhar’s rule. AICC counsel R.N. Mittal added that the self-styled god man was arrested during Rajiv Gandhi’s regime and refused permission to go abroad; hence he wanted to ensure that Chandrasekhar remained in power. So he contacted militant groups in London, Pakistan and Canada as well as CIA and Mossad. Chandraswami also approached Khashoggi who was supplying arms to LTTE. Chandraswami`s diary recovered in a IT raid revealed a payment of Rs 10 lakh to Nirmala Anuara Fernando- a Sri Lankan involved in gem trade and forged currency notes. These payments were routed through the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) - one of the world’s biggest money-laundering hubs catering to the rich, gangsters, terrorists and intelligence agents in 78 countries. BCCI involved in funding Black September and Abu Nidal terrorist operations. Its customers also included Mossad, ISI, MI6, CIA and people all over the world who had things to hide but didn’t like publicity. According to a US Senate investigations report $84 million was transferred to the LTTE from these accounts for Rajiv’s assassination. Mossad, CIA and LTTE all had accounts in BCCI. 

Five weeks before Rajiv’s assassination Palestine Chief Yasser Arafat tried to warn him about an assassination plot. Arafat categorically mentioned that Rajiv's enemies would try to get rid of him during the elections. His information from inside Israel and European sources was that LTTE and Sikh extremists besides three other hostile forces from outside India might try to harm Rajiv Gandhi. Arafat tasked the Palestine ambassador in Delhi, Khalid El Sheikh to convey this message from Arafat – who was a close family friend of the Gandhi’s. Khalid El Sheikh told Rajiv so on several occasions. Rajiv had also received similar information from other sources but still chose to ignore these warnings while seeming to be more concerned about the safety of his family. He reportedly told both Priyanka and Rahul, who was studying in the U.S. to be extra careful and alert. Rajiv Gandhi, 46 was assassinated on May 21, 1991. This makes Sri Lankans the world’s leading practitioners of human or suicide bombing. LTTE is the only group in the world to have killed two top leaders almost identically. LTTE wanted to prevent Rajiv from coming back to power so he was killed by Dhanu-- a female who was also blown to bits by the live bomb tied to her abdomen. The bomb that killed Rajiv Gandhi was reportedly composed of explosives manufactured in Israel. Similarly Premadasa got into trouble when he ordered the Israeli Interests Section at the U.S. embassy to wind up and two Israeli diplomats to leave Colombo. He was assassinated in Colombo by a male suicide bomber. 

Israel had been using Sri Lanka as a laboratory of death and destruction since early 70’s when Sri Lanka snapped the diplomatic ties over Palestine. Israel didn’t want to loosen its grip over Sri Lanka so it stayed on in the pretext of providing military advise and raising a special commando unit for Sri Lankan police. In 2000, a day after India refused to provide military assistance in the war against Tamil Tigers-- Israel and Sri Lanka resumed diplomatic relations. Israeli military advisers and technician started flooding Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka became a favorite destination for Mossad, Shabak and Shin Bet agents. To make big gains in the business of war -- Israelis started supplying arms and weapons in the war ravaged nation. Sri Lankan nationals working in Gulf countries were recruited to sell weapons and train one and all -- security forces, armed militia, mercenaries and private armies in Sri Lanka. Besides Israeli weapons – Lankans were offered a choice of smuggled Cambodian and Chinese weapons. Mossad managed to transform Sri Lanka into the bloodiest place on earth where massacres and killings were routine and entire villages got wiped out-- "Lebanon of South Asia."

The Jews had taken great pains to train batches of Tamil, Singhalese and the Indian security force personnel at Kfar Sirkin base and Atlit -- a top-secret naval commando base at Haifa –without letting one know about the other’s existence. Like a game of musical chair –this required meticulous planning of their day training schedules and night training exercises so that they didn’t accidentally bump into each other. The Singhalese were charged close to $300 per day for the three-month course. In addition they had to shell out extra money for helicopter rental, special training ammunition, bazooka shells and heavy mortars separately. But interestingly the Tamil splinter group TELO was not charged any fee as an investment for larger gains in future. Having planned the whole thing, so meticulously the Jews wanted - fighting in Sri Lanka to escalate into a full-scale war. This was the game plan that Rajiv wanted to foil. So he signed the peace accord and sent 3,000 Indian troops for peacekeeping in Jaffna. Here the IPKF stumbled upon large quantities of arms meant for Tamils with Israeli markings on them. It was that IPKF was not going to allow Mossad to sell its arms. This would mean end of the arms business. So it started pumping in more arms to both sides to make life hot for Indian troops. Later Premadasa started romancing with Mossad to arm the Tamils – hoping that they would wipe out the JVP Buddhists and make the Indian troops vanish from Sri Lanka. Rajiv Gandhi responded by sending 97,000 strong IPKF which unfortunately suffered a heavy toll in the unconventional warfare in Sri Lanka. Rajiv pulled out the Army under pressure from home but left the navy to block the arms supply routes. The Navy seized an Israeli ship coming from Singapore carrying amounts of arms and ammunition. The Jews were furious and wanted to teach Rajiv Gandhi a lesson. After his assassination Subramanian Swamy wrote numerous articles to mislead everyone by blaming the LTTE.

According to R. Velusami, president of Tamil Nadu Janata Party on May 21 -- the day of Rajiv’s assassination Subramanian Swamy was booked at Trident Hotel in Madras while Chandraswami was at Sindoori Hotel owned by Apollo Hospitals. Both left for Bangalore by car to see M. Chandrasekhar— for whose campaigning Rajiv had gone to Sriperumbudur-- before reaching Delhi on a special flight. One JP Builders had persuaded M. handrasekhar to select the ill-fated site for the Rajiv meeting. Before leaving Swamy had an hour-long meeting with S.C. Chandrahasan, a Sri Lankan Tamil ideologue at Hotel Trident. Curiously there is no record of Chandraswami’s stay at Sindoori where he stayed as a personal guest of Prathap Reddy.

Narasimha Rao’s men tried every trick to allegedly deny and destroy evidence. Many highly sensitive intelligence reports and wireless intercepts simply went missing. Among such ‘missing documents’ was a wireless intercept dated April 20, 1991 asking the question—should Rajiv be killed in Delhi or Madras? 

Rao wanted to pursue a new policy towards Israel. J.N. Dixit Foreign Secretary was the first senior Indian diplomat to visit Israel. Another such visit saw Abdul Kalam a leading defense scientist in Israel.

India’s first defense attaché to Israel Norman Anil Kumar Browne-- "Charlie" Browne was appointed Chief of Indian Air Force. Till this stage both India and Israel were denying any military cooperation. Mani Shankar Aiyer – MP, who tried to raise a question in parliament, was told that it was state secret. This hide and seek went on till the Jane's Defense Weekly disclosed that Sibat, responsible for Israeli Defense Exports had appointed over fifty agents to sell various defense items in New Delhi. 

Loyal friend or Opportunist?

Many analysts insist that Israel supplied arms and ammunition to Indian Army during Sino-Indian conflict in 1962 and Indo-Pakistani wars in 1965 and 1971 – but was it out of sheer love for India or a desire to profit from a fight between two neighbors and make money in the process? This issue is relevant as many of the RPVs supplied by Israel have later found to be defective.Another example of Israeli generosity is how case President Ezer Weizmann a former combat pilot offered the obsolete Kfir aircraft as a gift to the Indian air force. The Kfir an unauthorized copy of the French Mirage III would have been a poor replacement for the aging MiG-21s. But this did not prevent the smart Weizmann from trying to dispose of the junk in his own backyard to India. Similarly Israel hyped the sale of Phalcon radar as a state-of-art system though its own IDF—had rejected it. Since the winding up of Lavi fighter project – the recession-ridden Israeli military industry – was suffering from colossal losses and was in the process of dismissing a third of the work force. Even after earning billions from exports, the Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) had to depend on government assistance to pay the salaries. The orders from the Indian defense and security services – proved to be real life savers. The starting point of the military relations was a demand by Israel to be allowed to use the Indian Air Force bases in Gujarat or Rajasthan for staging and refueling due to strategic compulsions.

These initial understandings paved the way for formal diplomatic relations and gave a toe hold for Israeli defense industry in India. Mosaad came along uninvited—like the troublesome blood-sucking flea on the animal’s back. In the garb of friendship, Mossad’s main objective is to tame India, control its leadership and make India think and behave the way it wants. As a result Israel is not just the largest supplier offloading almost 50% of arms produced by its defense industries but also controls the nerve, heart and brain of India. RAW and IB have been infiltrated by CIA and Mossad. Rabinder Singh –a RAW officer and suspected CIA 'mole' escaped to Nepal before flying to USA with the help of his CIA handlers. He used to photocopy document and take them home to email them his handlers. Brijesh Mishra allegedly refused to authorize his arrest. He was not the first or only RAW operative to be compromised. Pro-Israel lobbies in Congress and other parties ensure that nothing happens here that Israel doesn’t want. Today many Army, Police, IB, RAW as well as other intelligence, counter-terrorism or security forces personnel—are either directly trained by Mossad or Shabak another Israeli Security Service or heavily dependent on Israel for equipment, spares and advise. All this started when DG National Security Guards (NSG) Ashok Tandon and an elite commando unit received training from Israel in VIP protection.

Narasimha Rao’s pro-Israel policies initially seemed to get the Clinton administration to declare Pakistan as a sponsor of terrorism in 1993 and sack Lt Gen Javed Nasir, DG, ISI with the support of the American Jewish lobby. The inside story has an altogether different angle as it is said that the actual reason why Javed Nasir was removed was that CIA was angry with ISI over the unused Stinger missiles in Kabul. But in the long run Rao has transformed India from an anti-imperialist to a CIA-Mossad laboratory with institutionalized persecution of Muslims. Things mostly began to change after Rajiv’s death – Mossad was able to infiltrate and indoctrinate top people in IB and RAW. Mosaad today has dug it’s heals in all States of India. Apart from government serving and retired Mossad agents and sympathizers have penetrated top PSUs, Corporate Houses, Media, PR, Advertising, academics, IT, healthcare, insurance companies, think tanks, consultancies, banks, financial institutions and even NGOs. The idea is that one well placed CIA or Mossad agent in a big organization can completely control it and all its stakeholders at a much lesser cost – than what United States or Israel might need to spend to promote their interest. . From monitoring the Prime Minister's security systems, fencing the 1500 km border, or deciding which electronic surveillance and intelligence equipment needs to be purchased from Israel—there is an Israeli security advisors calling the shots. Israeli fingerprints and footprint are to be found – on almost every weapon, missiles or satellite.

Lohamah Psichlogit or LAP of Mossad is its psychological warfare operations wing involved with negative portrayal of Muslims, demonizing Islam and discrediting the `Islamic terrorist’. It has been instrumental behind creation of many Hindu Dharma Senas and training their volunteers in Israel in the pretext of giving training in agriculture. Bajrang Dal also called desi Mossad preaches “elimination of Islam from India, hindus unity to drive the Muslims out of India and suggest that no Hindu should employ any Muslim no matter how cheaply he is available”. The result is that communal polarization is a rising phenomenon which started with Babri Masjid being demolished within months of recognizing Israel. Communal riots have ripped Gujarat, Mumbai and Kerala—something unheard of till 1992. The whole country is now divided into ghettoes and badlands. This is the price India is paying.

Did India Really Become Independent On August 15th, 1947?

India was granted a dominion status on August 15, 1947. According to Balfour Declaration of 1926 ‘dominions’ is defined as autonomous communities within the British Empire but united by a common allegiance to the Crown. So, by the definition, India was an autonomous community “within the British Empire”. So, why do we celebrate August 15th as our Independence Day?

Many people in India still believe that a Dominion status is equivalent to an absolute independent status. All those who so believe should go back to elementary school to re-learn their English. According to the Oxford dictionary, a ‘dominion’ is a country of the British Commonwealth having its own government. This same mistaken belief was also held by all Congress leaders in those days who openly proclaimed that there was no difference between dominion status and independence and accepted the dominion status in their all party conference of November 1929. This same confusion was furthered by the approval of dominion status in the Lahore Conference of 1929. But later Subhash Chandra Bose proposed that independence meant complete dissolution of any relationship with the British; for this he was labeled a terrorist and foreign agent. Only on January 26th 1950 when India became a republic was the word Dominion replaced by Republic.

When Britain gave independence to America 170 years before India, the resolution relating to declaring independence read “the united colonies of America are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain is, and ought to be, totally dissolved”. Now look at the wording in the Indian Independence Act which was accepted by the British Parliament on July 18th 1947; “to make provision for the setting up in India oftwo independent dominions, to substitute other provisions of the government of India Act 1945 which apply outside those dominions and to provide for other matters consequential on or connected with the setting up of those dominions.”

The British did not want our allegiance to be completely dissolved from Great Britain and;

The British wanted to replace some provisions of the dominion status of India and Pakistan which were applicable to other dominion of British Crown, namely Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa.

India was called “Dominion of India” from 1947 to 1950. We never taught in our history books that India had an official King in George VI post independence and this type of government system that could be called ‘constitutional monarchy’.

The monarchy of India was a system in which a hereditary monarch was the sovereign of India from 1947 to 1950. India shared the same person as it’s sovereign as the United Kingdom and the other Dominions in the British Commonwealth of Nations. The monarch’s constitutional roles were mostly carried out by the governor-general. The royal succession was governed by the ‘Act of Settlement 1701’.

In 1948 Mountbatten left his position by appointing C. Rajagopalachari. Even till 1950, then Prime Minister of India was only the fourth in command. By January 26th, 1950 we wrote our own Constitution, and abolished the monarchy. So, effectively India’s Independence Day was January 26, 1950, and not August 15, 1947.

In the memoirs Reminiscences of the Nehru Age, Nehru’s aide M. O. Mathai wrote that even after India became independent, Prime Minister Nehru had to seek permissions from King George for all “humble duties of submission” by addressing himself in third person. One such letter, as Mathai recollected, had the following content:

“Jawaharlal Nehru presents his humble duty to Your Majesty and has the honour to submit, for Your Majesty’s approval the proposal of Your Majesty’s, Ministers in the Dominion of India that Sri Rajagopalachari, Governor of West Bengal, be appointed to be the Governor General of India on the demission of that Office by His Excellency Rear Admiral the Earl Mountbatten of Burma…”.

He had to affirm allegiance to King George VI, Emperor of India and also to affirm that he would well and truly serve “Our Sovereign”. Nehru was suddenly confronted with these. He had no choice. He suppressed his embarrassment and extreme annoyance and went through the affirmation of allegiance and affirmation of office which read as follows:

Form of Affirmation of Allegiance

I, Jawaharlal Nehru, do solemnly affirm that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to His Majesty, KING GEORGE THE SIXTH, Emperor of India, His Heirs, and Successors, according to law.

Form of Affirmation of Office

I, Jawaharlal Nehru, do solemnly affirm that I will well and truly serve our Sovereign, KING GEORGE THE SIXTH, Emperor of India, in the Office of Member of the Governor General’s Executive Council, and that I will do right to all manner of people after the laws and usages of India without fear or favor of affection or ill-will.

What about our Army, Navy and Air Force leadership?

For any colonial nation, if independence means “not dependent” or not having to depend on anyone or anything else, it also means being strong and being able to survive alone. So, for India it means to see-off even the last British administrator from its land. We than would have to wait further until the late 1958 to celebrate ‘Independence’ because even after August 15th 1947, British officers Sirs Rob Lockhart and Roy Bucher were still heading the Indian Army and they left their positions in 1947 and 1949 respectively and World War veterans Sirs Edward Parry, Charles Pizey and Stephen Carlill were heading the Indian Navy until 1951, 1955, and 1958 respectively.

At the same time World War veterans Sirs Ronald Ivelaw-Chapman and Gerald Gibbs were heading our Air Force until 1951 and 1954 respectively. It was only in 1954 that we could see one of our own citizens, Subroto Mukherjee, at the helm of the air force affairs. Mukherjee himself was a war veteran and a graduate from the prestigious Royal Air Force College, Cranwell. But history has it that he told Mountbatten that he would need five to seven years time to take up the charge of the Air Force and also the navy took a very long time of eleven years for the transition of control to an Indian.

But then, how come the Army transition was over in just two years after our independence and that in the Navy took seven long years? Even Mukherjee, a winner of several decorations and awards from the mighty Queen, needed those seven years to rise to that level? He also had to undergo a course at the Imperial Defence College, London to shape himself up for the top post? After India saw ruthless rule of British for 250 years it would be foolish to think that they were under any sort of obligation to train us to the required level and ensure a smooth handshake.

What about Republic?

India became “Republic within Commonwealth on 1950”; now what is republic? Republic simply means ‘rule of law’ but note the word ‘within’; one cannot be free if they are ‘within’ other’s jurisdiction no matter how many constitutions we write.

On 2nd September 1953, Dr. Ambedkar clarified in his speech in the Rajya Sabha (Parliament) that

“People always keep saying to me: ‘Oh, you are the maker of the Constitution.’ My answer is I was a hack. What I was asked to do, I did much against my will.

My friends tell me that I have made the Constitution. But I am quite prepared to say that I shall be the first person to burn it out. I do not want it. It does not suit anybody….”

During the Second World War the Allies accepted a San Francisco Peace Treaty on September 8, 1951 which came into existence on April 28, 1952. That same day on April 28th, Independent India also issued a statement stating that the war between India and Japan has ended and we signed the separate ‘peace treaty’ called Treaty of Peace Between Japan and India on June 9, 1952 restoring relations between the two nations. What this signifies is that from September 1945 when Japan surrendered or from 15th August 1947 when we became Independent until June 9, 1952 India was officially in a state of war with Japan. What was the need for India to go to war with Japan after independence? Was the decision to declare war with Japan undertaken by independent India or was India fighting a proxy war? In that case who was in control of India’s foreign policy even after independence? What is the implication of such a thing? It should be kept in mind that Subhash Bose during the same period had made an alliance with Japan to eject the British from India and achieve complete freedom. Is this the reason why Bose was labeled a terrorist?

India’s response to these events suggests that the leadership, and the populace at large, is as ignorant about the international equations as they were during the colonization of India. We have completely failed to understand the players in this game, their motives, their powers and their means. Further few Indians even today care to ask themselves questions that would lead them in the direction of these answers. While India has produced scientists and engineers of very high caliber, its failure to produce social scientists of even mediocre capability in understanding the political equations is surprising. Although our society has focused its efforts in producing a vast talent base of students trained to think with the precision of modern mathematics, it has abysmally failed to apply this precise thought to the social sciences. This has resulted in an utter failure to answer even the most elementary of questions in international politics. One cannot help but surmise that these engineers and scientists were perhaps encouraged to serve unseen masters who deliberately kept the society in dark about the social sciences themselves.

It is natural for masters to keep their slave subjects from knowing too much about them. Even in the start of this new millennium few in Asia, and fewer in India in particular, have heard about the subject of Geopolitics. With most of the major players centered around Europe and the Middle East, it is no surprise that the Indians were kept ignorant about the deeper forces that drove the world for the past twenty centuries. In the best of cases, we have viewed these awful events with ignorance and what is worse, with a self-destructive arrogance. More often than not, we have chosen to bury our heads in the sand and refuse to view them at all.

At the end of the day the brutal truth is ‘August 15th’ is not a day of celebration or a day of distributing chocolates or not even a day to feel that ‘We are free’. The fact is it is a day to feel sorrow and shame on ourselves to celebrate as Independence Day a major event that triggered the riots which preceded the partition in the Punjab region that killed between 200,000 and 500,000 people in retributive genocide between the religions due to the evil policy of divide and rule by British. UNHCR estimates 14 million Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims were displaced during the partition; it was the largest mass migration in human history.

MI6 ISIS Rat Line and The Threat To India

The prosecution of a Swedish national accused of terrorist activities in Syria has collapsed at the Old Bailey after it became clear Britain’s security and intelligence agencies would have been deeply embarrassed had a trial gone ahead, the Guardian reported.

Bherlin Gildo was due to stand trial at London’s Old Bailey accused of attending a terrorist training camp between 2012 and 2013 and possessing information likely to be useful to a terrorist. But the case against him was dropped and he was cleared of the charges after a wrangle between lawyers and the British and Swedish security services.

On 1st June 2015, writes Seumas Milne the trial in London of a Swedish man, Bherlin Gildo, accused of terrorism in Syria, collapsed after it became clear British intelligence had been arming the same rebel groups the defendant was charged with supporting.

The prosecution abandoned the case, apparently to avoid embarrassing the intelligence services. The defence argued that going ahead withthe trial would have been an “affront to justice” when there was plenty of evidence the British state was itself providing “extensive support” to the armed Syrian opposition. That didn’t only include the “non-lethal assistance” boasted of by the government (including body armour and military vehicles), but training, logistical support and the secret supply of “arms on a massive scale”.

Reports were cited that MI6 had cooperated with the CIA on a “rat line” of arms transfers from Libyan stockpiles to the Syrian rebels in 2012 after the fall of the Gaddafi regime.

Interestingly, a recently declassified secret US intelligence report, written in August 2012, uncannily predicts – and effectively welcomes – the prospect of a “Salafist principality” in eastern Syria and an al-Qaida-controlled Islamic state in Syria and Iraq. In stark contrast to western claims at the time, the Defense Intelligence Agency document identifies al-Qaida in Iraq (which became Isis) and fellow Salafists as the “major forces driving the insurgency in Syria” – and states that “western countries, the Gulf states and Turkey” were supporting the opposition’s efforts to take control of eastern Syria.

Raising the “possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist principality”, the Pentagon report goes on, “this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime, which is considered the strategic depth of the Shia expansion (Iraq and Iran)”.

However this is only the latest in a string of such cases.

Psychological Warfare – How MI6 Controls ISIS

For months it was in the news that 400 Britons had joined the jihadis in Syria. Foreign Secretary William Hague himself said so. However, the number of these British jihadis is much larger and it has been revealed that some of them were trained to be Sunni jihadists by a jihad-seeking Saudi mullah in a British mosque under the watchful eyes of the MI6.

The Independent in June 2014 reported Birmingham MP Khalid Mahmood saying at least 1,500 Britons, if not more, have joined the terrorist-led jihad in Syria and Iraq, rejecting the 400 figure handed out by Hague, and 500 such jihadis referred to by U.K.’s anti-terror chief Sir Peter Fahy. “I imagine 1,500 certainly would be the lower end. If you look across the whole of the country, there’s been a number of people going across,” Mahmood said.

What is even more revealing is the report that some of these jihadis were trained by a Saudi preacher operating from within a Cardiff mosque.

The DailyMail in June 2104 pointed to Mohammed al-Arifi, who has called for holy war to overthrow Bashar al-Assad’s regime, spoke at the Al Manar center in Cardiff, Wales. Although banned from entering Switzerland because of his extremist views, al-Arifi has visited the U.K. several times. A Sunni Muslim, he has been accused of stirring up tensions with Shi’a Muslims, reportedly calling it evil and accusing adherents of kidnapping, cooking and skinning children. A source close to the Yemeni community in Cardiff told Mail Online:

“These boys were groomed [at Al Manar] to fight the Shi’as, fight these people, fight those that’s where it started. The teaching [at Al Manar] helped the people recruiting. If someone tried to recruit me, I wouldn’t go unless I’m convinced. But once they’re groomed, all it takes is someone to say ‘come and I’ll take you.’”

This reminds us of the teenage jihadist schoolboy from Coventry ‘fighting alongside ISIS terrorists in Iraq and Syria’ dubbed ‘Osama Bin Bieber‘.

Last year German officials in an operation raided two containers passing through Hamburg Port and seized 14,000 documents establishing that Osama bin Laden was funded by UK Queen’s bank Coutts, which is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Following the accusations DailyMail in it’s 23 June 2014 report titled Queen’s bank forced to deny that Osama Bin Laden had an account there after 14,000 documents seized from Cayman Islands branch reports that the Queen’s bank has denied claims in European newspapers that Osama Bin Laden ever held an account with the organisation.

In 2012, Coutts was fined £8.75million for ‘serious and systematic’ failings when handling money from suspected criminals or foreign despots.

ISIS Leader a Psychological Operation

Hamid Dawud Mohamed Khalil al Zawi, most commonly known as Abu Abdullah al-Rashid al-Baghdadi was the leader of umbrella organizations composed of eight groups and its successor organisation, the Islamic State of Iraq – ISIS. However, in July 2007, the U.S. military reported that al-Baghdadi never actually existed. The detainee identified as Khaled al-Mashhadani, a self-proclaimed intermediary to Osama bin Laden, claimed that al-Baghdadi was a fictional character created to give an Iraqi face to a foreign-run terror group, and that statements attributed to al-Baghdadi were actually read by an Iraqi actor.

According to Brigadier General Kevin Bergner, Abdullah Rashid al-Baghdadi never existed and was actually a fictional character whose audio-taped declarations were provided by an elderly actor named Abu Adullah al-Naima as a form of psychological warfare as reported in the New York Times.Brigadier General Kevin Bergner currently serves with the National Security Council staff as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Iraq. Prior to this assignment, he served as the Deputy Commanding General for Multi-National Forces in Mosul, Iraq. He also served as the Director for Political-Military Affairs (Middle East) on the The Joint Staff in the Department of Defense.

What about the ISIS threat to India?

At the Indo-UK Counter Terrorism Joint Working Group meeting held in London on January 15-16 this year the British officials warned their Indian counterparts of a possible terror attack by ISIS on Indian soil.

Than on July 28, USA Today revealed the end-of-days as according to the Islamic State (ISIS). The newspaper sourced a 32-page doomsday document to some “Pakistani citizen with connections inside the Pakistani Taliban.”

An investigative story published by the USA Today and reported by American Media Institute refers to a 32- page Urdu document obtained from a Pakistani citizen with connections inside the Pakistani Taliban.

“The document warns that ‘preparations’ for an attack in India are underway and predicts that an attack will provoke an apocalyptic confrontation with America,” the report said. The document, according to the report, was independently translated into English by a Harvard scholar and verified by several serving and retired intelligence official.

The document was reviewed by three US intelligence officials, who said they believe the document is authentic based on its unique markings and the fact that language used to describe leaders, the writing style and religious wording match other documents from the ISIS, USA Today added.

However, India’s Ministry of Home Affairs termed “rubbish” the alleged ISIS document which hinted that the terror group was preparing to attack India to provoke confrontation with the US. “It’s rubbish,” Joint Secretary, Internal Security-I, MA Ganapathy told reporters said.

If indeed the document was a fraud it raises serious questions given the MI6 & CIA links to ISIS; considering that the doomsday threat and the attack plan both emanated from the same source that is alleged to have created the threat in the first place. However, no explanation was provided by the Home Ministry as to why they chose to term it ‘rubbish’ nor an explanation sought from the western governments, intelligence agencies or the media for publishing such a sensitive and false report that took the entire global media in a whirl.

On the other hand last month, India’s Home Ministry announced it was working on a national anti-ISIS strategy. Many intelligence inputs followed after the publication of those reports and arrests made all across India. Reportedly, the appeal of ISIS radicalism had ramped up in ten Indian states.

Last month a British doctor was arrested in Jammu & Kashmir for planting IEDs. Police said Baba who is a physiotherapist has lived in London since 2006. He returned to the valley three months ago.

Why is it that from Al Qaeda to ISIS to terrorists in J&K, all links end up in Britain? More importantly, why such leads are not pursued by Indian Intelligence Agencies? Surprisingly enough even the intelligence inputs we so actively act upon are also provided by the same countries. How could we formulate a strategy to orient our security agencies to counter a threat that we choose to ignore or do not even attempt to understand?

As is the case with any of the terrorist group many of these groups are controlled not only by the states that sponsor terrorism but by the nations that sponsor the states that sponsor terrorism too. So though all evidence eventually leads to North Western frontier of India, we do not attempt to learn about who instigates these groups, their actions, their mode of acting and the previous track record that should guide us in doing what we as third neutral sovereign country should do. We totally ignored this angle and even the most rudimentary of forensic investigation in our approach to the Mumbai Train Blasts (a sequel to Spanish Train Bombings and the beginning of the 26/11 Mumbai Attacks). We hope we do a beginning in this new direction.

By the later years of the Reagan regime, a preferred nomenclature suited to U.S. interests became standardized for the Third World. In the case of nations to be rolled back (e.g., Nicaragua), governments were called terrorist and the insurgents were labeled democratic. In the case of countries to be supported against “communist” insurgencies (e.g., El Salvador and the Philippines), the governments were called democratic and the insurgents were labeled terrorists. “

One recent phenomenon emerging since dissolution of soviet era is, if there is more than one geo-political player involved in any target nation say Nigeria or Indonesia or India; then the turf war between the geo-political players is spilling in to the target countries. Just like in case of East India Companies whenever their parent countries (England, France, Holland etc) went to war in Europe, their representatives in African and Indian colonies also went to war. So whenever one geo-political player feels their turf is violated in any target countries then they do not hesitate to eliminate the others or their supporters in the target countries.

Depending on the theatre of concern these sabotage operations are called by various names and many governments in order to prevent them do various preventive actions. Unfortunately in India there is no comprehensive study of terrorism keeping the above perspective. Our excessive determination and focus on Islamic or Jihad terrorism though suits our emotional need it only comprises of less than one fourth of terrorist acts perpetuated on the soil of India since more than three decades. Subversion, sabotage, assassinations, abductions, facility bombings, symbolic target bombings though done by all terrorist groups we are confined and concerned only about Jihadi terrorism which is making our response to over all terrorism and its prevalence in India ineffective.

Seumas Milne writes this western habit of playing with jihadi groups, which then come back to bite them, goes back at least to the 1980s war against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan, which fostered the original al-Qaida under CIA tutelage. Infact, it’s not just a western habit and it dates far back than 1980s since before World War I where the roots to using modern fundamentalism as a tool of warfare lay. We will be divulging deep on this subject in further reports.

MNCs Operated Destruction Of India

Two-and-a-half years after the completion of a new $17 million terminal building, the airport in Jaisalmer, a small and remote desert city in Rajasthan, stands empty. As reported not a single passenger has passed through the gates of an airport big enough to handle more than 300,000 travellers a year, with parking bays for three 180-seater narrow-body jets.

In what has been termed as the Ghost Terminals of India, “India has spent more than $50 million since 2009 on eight airports that do not receive scheduled flights. Across India, more than half of the 100-odd domestic-only airports operated by AAI have not seen a scheduled flight this year.”

However similar trends could be noticed in other sectors as well.

Nearly 60% or 160 out of the overall 255 malls currently operational in top seven Indian cities are facing an uncertain future as customers have deserted them for various reasons, as reported by DNA.

“Across India, many of the nation’s more than 300 malls have been struggling with weak sales and high vacancy rates. Developers over the last decade built more than 250 shopping centers, according to JLL’s Indian arm, to tap into India’s burgeoning consumer culture. But while some analysts had estimated India’s middle class would swell to more than 400 million people, it turns out that only a sliver of them—less than 10 million by McKinsey & Co.’s estimates—have enough disposable income to make them steady mall goers” reports the Wall Street Journal.

At the same time if you happen to travel through the suburbs of the Indian capital, Delhi, you will see miles and miles of built homes with nobody living in them. Even as the country faces a shortage of 19 million houses, around 10.2 million completed units are lying vacant, says property consultant CBRE.

“According to the Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation (MoHUPA), Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Gujarat constitute about 76 per cent of this urban housing shortage.”

Government of India collects many statistics every year on everything and anything except on the displaced people from the resource rich forests or river banks or fertile lands. None in India in government circles have any figure for the number of people that have been or are being displaced by big developmental projects or sacrificed on the altar of Developmental Mantra by every national government.

Where do these displaced people go?

Eventually they end up in slums of urban centers on government lands or on disputed lands. They become vote bank for urban political parties. In most cases once the land title is allotted these slum dwellers are uprooted from these slums so that big corporation can build shopping malls or apartment complexes for the development of the nation.

Various courts in India including the Supreme Court are either silent on this human tragedy of forcible displacement or in rarest cases sided with the government and big MNCs in pursuing their agendas. In many cases even if there were no environmental clearances for such huge ecology damaging projects like Tehri Dam or Tata and POSOCO or Vedanta, still they went ahead grabbing the lands of poor and destroying the ecology for MNC interests.

It would appear as though these problems are just the result of bad management, planning and a general lack of oversight and holistic perspective. However true that maybe it is just the partial truth. Upon a closer observation infact one would find that these problems are not the result of mis-management, instead they are the results of a very systematic and strategically charted out policies in motion through a very long time.

Most of these above mentioned displaced people are from virgin forests from where coal to diamonds, rare earth metals to gold could be hauled out at throw away prices, which would be used to make high technology cutting edge products again to be sold to India at 10,000 times more profit than the actual cost of the materials/products hauled out.

MNCs want these tribal Indians to go away from their resource rich lands sometime like yesterday. But they are afraid just like the East India Company, that such evacuation (read rehabilitation) may create revolt among people. To avoid such inconvenience MNCs are now using the very democratically elected governments to do the eviction of population in the guise of protection of wildlife and sustainable development.

A massive such eviction is taking place in the State of Andhra Pradesh from the virgin forests of Nallamala range for the exclusive benefits of De Beers, a diamond mining corporation that wants the kimberlite or diamonds from the forest. But that is not the only thing De Beers is after. What De Beers is after is the buried wealth of Vijayanagara Empire to be hauled permanently into western fold.

The efforts of De Beers started at least 13 years ago when it was told to us that “they realized the massive diamond, gold and granite deposits in Mehaboob Nagar and Kurnool districts of Andhra Pradesh”. These deposits are spread under the thick jungles of Nallamala Forests. These forests needed to be cleared first for the diamond mining or De Beers should have to resort to the latest technology called horizontal drilling under the forests.

Now here comes the kicker. East India Companies when they ruled India tried to locate these kimberlite mines and declared that they were all exhausted and thus shifted their focus to South Africa. In South Africa they found diamonds and set up African gold and diamond mining companies under the ruthless exploitative ownership of Openheimers, who were one of the owners of the East India Companies. It is these Nallamala diamond mines that were the source of the riches of all the kingdoms of India including the Vijayanagara Kingdom, which at its height sold diamonds on streets not in carats but in kilograms. This fact was recorded by Portuguese, Russian, French and other chroniclers who had business and diplomatic ties with Vijayanagara kingdom. In the year 1600 East India Company was formed and given exclusive right to trade with India and South East Asia by the British Monarchy under the concept of Free Trade and Globalization. It was also given the right to civilize India. In the year 1965 the Club of Rome (top industrial houses-real owners of EICs or MNCs) divided the world in 10 economic segments and gave unbridled authority to ruthlessly exploit Segment 9 (India belongs to this segment 9), a group of mineral (diamond, gold, uranium, life saving medicinal plants, organic food and drinking water) oil and natural gas rich South East Asian nations consisting one third of the population of the world- under liberalization (liberalize domestic economy to globalize its owners) and privatization (privatize so that Free Trade can further control domestic economy via global owners) to a group of MNCs.

Commenting on the mercantile political economy, Mayer Rothschild (one of the owners of the East India Company) once made a historic comment which is resoundingly true even after centuries – “give me the control of the currency of any nation and I care not who rules it…”

Liberalization and Privatization were the tools of the mercantile world in the long history of 400 year struggle to dominate resource rich Asia in general and India in particular. Since the beginning of liberalization of Indian economy for the supposed ‘development’ of India many Indians within the border of India became second-class citizens or non-citizens in their own native lands, country and cultural settings. They became the Helots of India, a derogatory term used by the Romans to indicate non-Romans in their country, intermediate in status between slaves and citizens. However still for whose sake is this development, is still not yet answered as it is tacitly understood that it is for the western countries to continue their geopolitical fight with their yester year cold war adversaries.

It wouldn’t be farfetched to say that in the name of development India is now run only for the profit maximization of giant western Multinational Corporations (MNCs) which are in their latest avatar from the erstwhile East India Companies (EICs). In fact all the owners of current MNCs are the grand children of the previous East India Companies, in lineage, spirit, methods, tactics and business policies (read Business Intelligence).
