What Is Human? And Why Should We Care?

There are many challenges and problems facing humanity today, and in the generations to come, but of them all, two factors will be paramount: the definition of what is human (implying the impact of the concept, and the full quiver of human rights thereof), and - secondly - the right to be (and to create) the offspring of a freely-generated and unregulated feral (naturally-occurring) human genome.

In other words, the right to exist without deliberately manipulated genes.

The time is approaching when it may be considered barbaric, unpatriotic or even evil to allow the propagation of certain genetic characteristics which today are considered normal, natural, and utterly human in nature.

We err if we are led to believe that humans properly analyze and regulate the ultimate outcomes regarding these two supreme issues.

Financial and political pressure will have their unfortunate and historically predictable effect, perhaps for the last time, as cybernetic versions of humanity will emerge from the inevitable crises and chaos that will precede the demise of the human being as we know it, and of the human body, with all its genetically embedded frailties, in order to be engineered and designed into something more predictable, durable, pleasing and tractable.

We risk becoming known as the ancestors of something that may not even resemble what we think of as 'human' today: just as apes are scarcely considered primates to be cherished, though they contain up to 99% or greater of the same genetic materials that human beings call their own, similarly, those "enhanced" beings who shall come after us will neither regret the loss of, nor recognize as precious, their primeval and essential connection to ourselves as representatives of genuine humanity: we shall be their primitive, coarse and inferior ancestors.

I suspect that the richness of our Pandora's box of genetic gifts will lose its texture, flexibility and uniqueness as those "specimens inconvenient" - those feral qualities that we currently cannot well control - become regulated, and, finally, extinguished in favor of prevailing fashions, political climates, social and physical efficiency, and (inevitably) economics, though it might be politically incorrect to even mention our extinction as anything but an unfortunate consequence of the factors causing our ultimately needing to be discarded: genuine human beings as we know them will be as alien to our descendents as monkeys are to us.

Only if the definition of "What Is Human" is very carefully crafted, and the genetic manifestations of our race guarded as the treasures that they are - that we dare not allow to be lost to us - can we hope to retain the slightest link to something so tender and fragile as human flesh in the millennia to come.

It is possible that clinging to such a past would only continue to proliferate a strain or streak of evil or destructiveness in our current species, but it might also prove to be the fighting force that keeps our life-form wanting to stay alive.

It just might be that experiencing the broad rainbow and bright spectrum of the fullness of our 'primitive' existence supplies that essence that means life is worth living, that the range of emotions existing within us that can make us act in ways that are not human, or, shall we say, are destructive to what is around us to a greater or lesser extent, are also the roots of what grows and flowers to produce the best in us: our sense of soul, of love, of conscience, of self-value, of struggling toward a higher selfhood.

Such would be eliminated, most likely, because of such stuff revolutions are made, and without such stuff, I'm afraid, the very will to live could be extinguished.

It would take a long time for the human being to descend to that smaller, more efficient, less-feeling, more loyal robot, but the result would resemble what the social insect kingdoms have developed. What begins as a 'crowd' (herd) mentality devolves to a 'hive' mentality.

 

We have the capacity and the proclivity to evolve in that direction, for individuality is not valuable compared to mass effort, insofar as economies are run.

And the bottom line in modern society is not society itself, but its financial state.

Where stability reigns, things tend to stay comfortingly the same. If we dare generalize a bit about it, harnessing the wind and harnessing the human will are equally rewarding to the economy. Stability, smoothness, harmony, good work ethic, guaranteed jobs, everybody's lives guaranteed to be productive and useful to the very end - it sounds like Paradise.

 

But what we are really describing is life in the Hive.

Bees in beehives are all alike, and tremendously efficient, giving up their lives entirely to the routines for which they were created, for the queen, for the hive. They work themselves to death, living a mere 35 days. If money continues to be our God, our future overlords will punish individuality, for the sake of efficiency, predictability, long life, and the economy.

At the same time, the feral human genome, which may be the only reservoir that will be able to preserve the unpredictable - necessary to meet the stressors of a universe that is unforgivingly diverse in its challenges to self-aware existence - may be most unwelcome. Standardization means "one size fits all" - or else.

But we should want to preserve the excitement of human BE-ing: if this essence is eliminated, we may also eliminate that quality of unique self-awareness that so often is overwhelming within our breast - those galloping emotions, bursts of ideas, dreams of pleasure and success, and the power of incandescent love.

If all is known and forced to be predictable, the result may be a sameness best represented by the clone-looking figures of 'aliens' we now so easily can picture: big, staring eyes, big-brained heads, expressionless mouths and faces, hairlessness, ultra-smooth skins - look-alike creatures who walk about naked, thin, and disciplined.

Efficiently the same, such 'creatures' represent our imagination's nightmares - but we may be looking at "what is human" two centuries from now.

Will we be 'human' then?

We'll more likely be aliens, I fear - perhaps without any flesh at all with which to burden our economy, capable of 'living' for millennia and traveling to the stars. For greed, corruption and power drive people to take dominion over others, to create submissive flocks of sheep. Sheep go where they are herded, and we love to be herded.

It feels good: we don't have to think. Who wants to be a black sheep, anyway?

Will a spark of "what is human" remain within the genetically engineered creatures of the next century?

 

It's time to address the very definition of just what is human - what this means concerning Human Rights, and what our definition will mean as to the future of the feral human genome and the human race.

China hacks Google

Like many other well-known organizations, we face cyber attacks of varying degrees on a regular basis. In mid-December, we detected a highly sophisticated and targeted attack on our corporate infrastructure originating from China that resulted in the theft of intellectual property from Google. However, it soon became clear that what at first appeared to be solely a security incident--albeit a significant one--was something quite different.

First, this attack was not just on Google. As part of our investigation we have discovered that at least twenty other large companies from a wide range of businesses--including the Internet, finance, technology, media and chemical sectors--have been similarly targeted. We are currently in the process of notifying those companies, and we are also working with the relevant U.S. authorities.

Second, we have evidence to suggest that a primary goal of the attackers was accessing the Gmail accounts of Chinese human rights activists. Based on our investigation to date we believe their attack did not achieve that objective. Only two Gmail accounts appear to have been accessed, and that activity was limited to account information (such as the date the account was created) and subject line, rather than the content of emails themselves.

Third, as part of this investigation but independent of the attack on Google, we have discovered that the accounts of dozens of U.S.-, China- and Europe-based Gmail users who are advocates of human rights in China appear to have been routinely accessed by third parties. These accounts have not been accessed through any security breach at Google, but most likely via phishing scams or malware placed on the users' computers.

Infiltrated Intelligence - Roots and Routes of Global Corruption

The secret lodges of the last Enlightenment – who created prototypes for today’s intelligence agencies, replete with hierarchical grades, code words and symbols, binding oaths and lifetime fealty to the current cause – used secretive hierarchical structures to subvert and replace the monarchies of yesteryear, which transformed into the corporatised robber baronies of today. This was hardly their intention, but the cellular structures of lodges, unions and guilds were often infiltrated and their agendas overridden by outsiders posing as the hidden ‘secret masters’ of these necessarily secretive groups.

Today we have an identical situation with many terrorist and freedom-fighting organisations. It’s common knowledge that peacenik antiwar groups, schismatic cults, labour organisations and most ‘alternative; enclaves were routinely infiltrated by police and intelligence agents in the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s. Their members were often turned toward self-defeating policies or stupidly self destructive acts by these infiltrators, in order to break up the groups and have their troublesome (but usually mostly harmless) members locked away or killed. The same occurs today all the time within many or most terrorist and espionage cells - who do much of the dirty work of intelligence agencies, usually without being aware of the fact.

When it comes to government funding of intelligence groups and other insecurity forces, failure is more lucrative than success. Thus the Waco and WTC bombings, the London ‘7/7’ train ‘bombing exercises’, the now ancient Sydney Hilton Hotel bombing and the Indonesian nightlife and hotel bombings all provided excellent excuses to massively increase funding of the intelligence groups who were really responsible for creating these state-sponsored terror attacks. The draconian laws that followed in the wakes of these man-made disasters gave these groups – and their hidden masters – unprecedented powers of surveillance and control.

Today’s intelligence agencies, military organisations, corporations, governments and other secretive groups have all been infiltrated and taken over by outside elements, including, of course, each other. Yet the hidden hands of unseen fat controllers overrule and override all their processes and agendas. Some of these groups have an inkling of what’s really going on but are so constrained by their structures they have no way of dealing with their worst nightmare; not just an enemy within, but one who’s so far on top of things they’re completely invisible.

Ron Paul: After ‘CIA Coup,’ Agency ‘Runs Military’

January 20, 2010 "Raw Story" -- US House Rep. Ron Paul says the CIA has has in effect carried out a "coup" against the US government, and the intelligence agency needs to be "taken out."

Speaking to an audience of like-minded libertarians at a Campaign for Liberty regional conference in Atlanta this past weekend, the Texas Republican said:

There's been a coup, have you heard? It's the CIA coup. The CIA runs everything, they run the military. They're the ones who are over there lobbing missiles and bombs on countries. ... And of course the CIA is every bit as secretive as the Federal Reserve. ... And yet think of the harm they have done since they were established [after] World War II. They are a government unto themselves. They're in businesses, in drug businesses, they take out dictators ... We need to take out the CIA.

Paul's comments, made last weekend, were met with a loud round of applause, but they didn't gather attention until bloggers noticed a clip of the event at YouTube.

Paul appeared to be referring to news reports that the CIA is deeply involved in air strikes against Al Qaeda targets in Afghanistan and Pakistan. A suicide bombing late last year against Forward Operating Base Chapman in Afghanistan took the lives of seven of CIA operatives, including two contracted from Blackwater. The event highlighted the CIA's deep involvement in the war effort.

Paul's reference to the CIA being "in the drug business" refers to long-running allegations that the CIA has funded some of its covert operations with proceeds from drug-running. That claim was most famously made in a 1996 investigative report from the San Jose Mercury-News, which alleged that cocaine from the Contra-Sandinista civil war in Nicaragua was making its way to the streets of L.A. via the CIA.

HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) is a little-known, yet critically important U.S. military defense program which has generated quite a bit of controversy over the years in certain circles. Though denied by HAARP officials, some respected researchers allege that secret electromagnetic warfare capabilities of HAARP are designed to forward the US military's stated goal of achieving full-spectrum dominance by the year 2020. Others go so far as to claim that HAARP can and has been used for weather modification, to cause earthquakes and tsunamis, to disrupt global communications systems, and more.

Major aspects of the program are kept secret for alleged reasons of "national security." Yet there is no doubt that HAARP and electromagnetic weapons capable of being used in warfare do exist. The ionosphere is the delicate upper layer of our atmosphere which ranges from about 30 miles (50 km) to 600 miles (1,000 km) above the surface of the Earth.

The HAARP website acknowledges that experiments are conducted which use electromagnetic frequencies to fire pulsed, directed energy beams in order to "temporarily excite a limited area of the ionosphere." Some scientists state that purposefully disturbing this sensitive layer could have major and even disastrous consequences. Concerned HAARP researchers like Dr. Michel Chossudovsky of the University of Ottawa and Alaska's Dr. Nick Begich (son of a US Congressman) present evidence suggesting that these disturbances can even cause tsunamis and earthquakes.

Two key major media documentaries, one by Canada's public broadcasting network CBC and the other by the History Channel, reveal the inner workings of HAARP in a most powerful way. The very well researched CBC documentary includes this key quote:

"It isn't just conspiracy theorists who are concerned about HAARP. This reveling document further states that the EU regrets the repeated refusal of the U.S. government to send anyone to give evidence on HAARP.

If an electromagnetic pulse went off over a city, basically all the electronic things in your home would wink and go out, and they would be permanently destroyed."

For those who still doubt that such devastating secret weapons have been developed, here is an intriguing quote from an article in New Zealand's leading newspaper, the New Zealand Herald:

"Top-secret wartime experiments were conducted off the coast of Auckland to perfect a tidal wave bomb, declassified files reveal. United States defence chiefs said that if the project had been completed before the end of the war, it could have played a role as effective as that of the atom bomb. Details of the tsunami bomb, known as Project Seal, are contained in 53-year-old documents released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade."

If the military secretly developed a weapon which could cause a tsunami over half a century ago, what kind of advanced deadly weapons might be available now? And why is it that the general public still doesn't know about secret weapons developed over 50 years ago? To understand why the media isn't covering these highly critical issues, click here. Clearly the military has the capability to cause a tsunami and likely to cause earthquakes and hurricanes, as well. It's time for us to take action to spread the word on this vital topic.

Having interpreted to for top generals in my work as a language interpreter with the US Department of State, I learned that military planners are always interested in developing the most devastating weapons possible. Yet these weapons are kept secret as long as possible, allegedly for reasons of national security. The many layers of intense secrecy both in the military and government result in very few people being aware of the gruesome capabilities for death and destruction that have been developed over the years. There are many examples of major defense projects kept successfully out of the public's eyes for years and even decades.

The massive Manhattan Project (development of the first atomic bomb) is one such example. The building of an entire city to support the project in Oak Ridge, Tennessee was successfully kept secret even from the state's governor. The stealth bomber was kept top secret for many years, and the public still has no way of knowing it's full capabilities. It is through the use of the highly organized military and intelligence services that the power elite of our world, working in cooperation with key allies in government and corporate ownership of the media, are able to carry out major cover-ups and secret operations like those involved with HAARP.

Some researchers have raised questions about the possible involvement of HAARP in major disasters like the earthquake in Haiti, Indonesian tsunami, and hurricane Katrina. Could these have been HAARP experiments gone awry? Might they even have been caused by rogue elements which gained control of this devastating technology. Of course disasters like this happen regularly on a natural basis, yet if you begin to research, there is some high strangeness around some of these disasters. The evidence is inconclusive, yet with the known and unknown major destructive capabilities of this weapon, serious questions remain.

Seismic (Tectonic) Warfare

Environmental war is defined as [1] the intentional modification of a system of the natural ecology, such climate and weather, earth systems such as the ionosphere, magnetosphere, tectonic plate system, and/or the triggering of seismic events (earthquakes) [2] to cause intentional physical, economic, and psycho-social, and physical destruction to an intended target geophysical or population location, [3] as part of strategic or tactical war.
