Proof That The Pineal Gland Is Literally A Third Eye

January 19, 2014 - Is it possible that you literally have a third eye that connects you to spiritual dimensions? The pineal gland is something as that is spoken of the in New Age community as being the intuition organ and the connection point between body and spirit, but very few people realize that the pineal gland is in fact a literal eye.

The pineal gland is a pea-sized gland in the exact geometric center of the brain and comes from the root word pinea which is Latin for pinecone. Pinecone symbolism appears all over the ancient world from the Sumerian, Greek, and Roman traditions, to the Vaticans Court of the Pine Cone and staff of the Pope.

It is highly reverenced to be of high psychic and spiritual significance, and bindis are often word in Hindu culture as a way of signifying the pineal glands importance with spiritual wakefulness. Why are so many ancient cultures obsessed with pineal gland symbolism? The answer may be found when biophysical analysis is done of the pineal gland interior.

Under the skin in the skull of a lizard lies a light-responsive third eye which is the evolutionary equivalent of the bone-encased, hormone-secreting pineal gland in the human brain. The human pineal is denied access to light directly, but like the lizards third eye, it shows enhanced release of its hormone, melatonin, during the night. The challenge is to understand the mechanisms which regulate the synthesis and release of melatonin. The pineal gland is the minds eye. Dissected, the reptiles pineal looks much like an eye, with the same shape and tissue. Dr. Cheryl Craft, Ph.D., Chair of the Department of Cell and Neurobiology, University of Southern California.

Whats fascinating is that the interior of the pineal gland actually has retinal tissue composed of rods and cones (photoreceptors) inside its interior lining just like the eye, and is even wired into the visual cortex in the brain. The photoreceptors of the retina strongly resemble the cells of the pineal gland. Dr. David Klein, Science Daily. It even has vitreous fluid in it like an eye does.

An article in Science News stated the following:

The retina and the pineal gland are the organs primarily responsible for the bodys recognition and sophisticated processing of external light. Until recently these two organs in mammals seemed to have little else in common and were consequently studied by separate groups of scientists. But a new alliance of researchers is now exploring striking similarities that are speeding research efforts in both fields. Their findings suggest that the pineal gland was the evolutionary precursor to the modern eye. While it turned out that the retinal rhythm is independent of the pineal gland, once the groups of scientists began working together they discovered surprising similarities between the two organs, including the presence of photoreceptors.

Furthermore, a study published in Experimental Eye Research revealed that Although the mammalian pineal gland is considered to be only indirectly photosensitive, the presence of proteins in the pineal gland which are morally involved in phototrasduction (light sensing) in the retina, raises the possibility that direct photic events may occur in the mammalian pineal gland.

I think its a funny coincidence that the organ that has for thousands of years been called a 3rd eye actually has all of the components needed for a functioning eye. It is possible that when ancient traditions spoke of a third eye that they knew what they were talking about? On top of all of this, the pineal gland is also thought to secrete a chemical known as DMT, which has the nickname of The Spirit Molecule. DMT is believed to be release during dreaming, during spiritual and mystical experiences, and during the time of death. It a chemical compound that, when ingested, has the most powerful hallucinogenic effects out of any other drug. The molecule that is speculated to give us all spiritual experience just so happens to be housed in the pineal gland.

French philosopher Ren Descartes (1596-1650) emphasized the pineal gland in his writings, calling it the seat of the soul and The part of the body in which the soul directly exercises its functions. He contended that this was centre at which the soul and body interacted, and where we receive our messages from the Divine. Even Jesus says in Matthew 6-22: The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light., so the idea of there being a spiritual eye is no new idea.

This is not proof that the pineal gland is a spiritual eye seeing into other dimensions, but it is proof that it has the biological potential to be an actual eye. So now we have a solid scientific evidence to establish that the pineal gland is in fact a third eye, and we can now begin to speculate why it evolved and if it serves any purpose of spiritual significance.

For example, a lot of people who have had out-of-body experiences report a silver cord linking their astral body back to their physical body located either in between the eyes or at the back of the head where the pineal gland would be. Could it be that our astral body, which exists in our physical body yet has access to higher dimensions, receives literal information from psychic and spiritual realms in the form of photons and images, which then get fired down the silver cord into the visual cortex of the brain where the pineal gland receives this information? Is the pineal gland a little television for worlds unseen to the biological eye? With the scientific proof that this gland can function like an eye, we now have these avenues open for speculation.

Unfortunately, the pineal gland can become calcified from heavy metals and fluoride which can restrict its biological function as a producer of melatonin (which regulates sleep cycles) and may also inhibit and psychic or spiritual function it may have. Metaphysics on A Brutal Planet

As the Internet has brought us greater access to the world, we are even more aware of the never-ending brutality of human existence. In Sanskrit, the words pleasure and pain are often written as one word: sukhaduhkha. The wisdom in equating pleasure and pain has always struck me as an understanding that could only emerge out of an ancient civilization with a deep, even primordial sense of history — a venerable culture that over time had repeatedly experienced all the inevitable, ineluctable, inescapable stages of all civilizations, the cyclical recurrences of initial purity and cohesion, followed by consequent corrupting disarray and decay.

Still the question lingers. Why has the Creator chosen to make this plane of existence, this planet Earth so brutal? The Tibetans call the earth plane the Realm of Endurance. The Sufis see life as a sacred crucible in which we are formed, challenged, forged and tempered. The Christian faith views life as a Valley we each walk alone, as we move towards death and Judgement. The Kashmir Shaivites understand life as the Play [Lila or Divine Drama] of the Oneness that is within us – and enjoying it all, even the brutality! The Kashmir Shaivite saint and scholar, Swami Lakshmanjoo has said, “Everyone is suffering. Everyone is enjoying suffering.”

The Webs We Weave

History reveals man’s shocking capacity for mass madness and insane cruelty. What is the good, the purpose of pain, suffering, decay and so much abject brutality? One answer is simply that in a polarity universe the one extreme of purity and goodness cannot exist without the other extreme, meaning contamination and evil. In the temporal illusory hologram, everything rots. It is simple physics, or rather metaphysics.

A more western oriented explanation of the purpose for such brutal and destructive energies is offered by the plain speaking, down-to-earth American philosopher Eric Hoffer in his classic astute and insightful book, ‘The True Believer, Thoughts on the Nature of Mass Movements’ [1951]:

“The discarded and rejected [of any society] are often the raw material of a nation’s future. The stone builders reject becomes the cornerstone of a new world. A nation without dregs and malcontents is orderly, decent, peaceful and pleasant, but perhaps without the seed of things to come. It was not the irony of history that the undesired in the countries of Europe should have crossed an ocean to build a new world on the [North American] continent. Only they could do it.”

From this pragmatic assessment we may approach the idea that those we consider to be the dregs of society, the losers, and the various forms of eroding contamination, chemical or ideological — are in fact the seed store of new forms. Bacteria and viruses, which destroy weakened living cells, have been with us forever. In a cyclical universe, there must be energies that decay, dissolve and destroy. Often these are hidden beyond our sight, decomposing matter under rocks, in putrid slime yucky-goo rubbish, or silently lurking inside our human bodies.
 

“Only they could do it!”

Sometimes they are found in the malcontent, the alienated, misfits who blame others for, in Hoffer’s words their “spoiled lives” — and are driven to overthrow the existing order. Hoffer counts political and religious fanatics such as Hitler, Lenin and others among these ‘true believers’ who throughout history have murdered thousands in the name of truth.

Eric Hoffer worked on the San Francisco docks as a stevedore in the 1940s. He was self-educated and his experiences in the realm of physical labour combined with a lack of ivory tower intellectual conditioning, which so is often removed from any real life, and therefore produced an extraordinary view of the human condition. I first read ‘The True Believer’ back in high school, perhaps 1962, and I admit that I did not and could not have understood it in those days — but even in my tender green teens, I realized that there was something deeply profoundly true in this book. Because of the recent rumours of revolution, I remembered and thus reread this classic, which was reissued in 2010.

Hoffer makes it unequivocally clear that what motivates the True Believer into fanaticism is his or her own lack. They are as he says the disaffected, the poor, the unemployed, the misfits, outcasts, minorities, adolescent youth, the ambitious, the obsessed, the impotent in mind or body, the inordinately selfish, the bored and sinners.

“…they are wholly without reverence toward the present. They see their lives and the present as spoiled beyond remedy and they are ready to waste and wreck both: hence their recklessness and their will to chaos and anarchy…Thus they are among the early recruits of revolutions, mass migrations, and of religious, racial and chauvinist movements, and they imprint their mark upon these upheavals and movements which shape a nations character and history.”

The Brutality of Human History
 

In his book ‘Comanches, The History of a People‘ [1974], the historian T.R. Fehrenbach warns us that ignoring the brutalities of human history leaves us vulnerable:

“The fact that Americans, for the most part, tend to reject a tragic view of human existence is probably the greatest source of the American difficulty in understanding Amerindian history. The People [the Comanches] were entirely true to themselves from first to last, and this faithfulness destroyed them. Their destroyers [both the Spanish and Americans] were also true to themselves, and it could not have been otherwise.”

This naïve refusal to view human existence as cyclical tragedy and catastrophe is particularly American — and something I know all too well having grown up in the USA post WWII. I was raised on optimism, on ‘progress is our most important product’, and the ‘can do’ mentality. The work of Edward Bernays had saturated my country in Madison Avenue advertising and propaganda, a bizarre and all pervasive miasma and delusion that was designed to promote commerce. Of course, we suspected otherwise and the atrocities in Viet Nam forced a generation’s rebellion against the prevailing belief system.

Again from T.R. Fehrenbach: “History is brutal; only future peril lies in omitting or obscuring man’s continuing brutalities. Generations that have been sheltered from the brutalities of the past are poorly equipped to cope with those of their own times.”

Brutality is the decomposing, dissolving catalyst menacing all established forms. Life on Earth is often mass madness. One such era was the 14th Century Europe when the plagues known as the Black Death scourged thousands. The historian Barbara W. Tuchman envisages a cyclical perspective in her book, ‘A Distant Mirror, The Calamitous 14th Century’ [1978]:

“Survivors of the plague, finding themselves neither destroyed nor improved, could discover no Divine purpose in the pain they had suffered. God’s purposes were usually mysterious, but this scourge had been too terrible to be accepted without questioning. If a disaster of such magnitude, the most lethal ever known, was a mere wanton act of God or perhaps not God’s work at all, then the absolutes of a fixed order were loosed from their moorings. Minds that opened to admit these questions could never again be shut. Once people envisioned the possibility of change in a fixed order, the end of an age of submission came in sight; the turn to individual conscience lay ahead. To that extent the Black Death may have been the unrecognized beginning of modern man.”

Did it take such a massive catastrophe to begin the erosion of the feudal system, which for centuries robbed most men of their freedom, wealth, and creativity? We humans seem able to get used to anything and tend to resist change. This compulsion to repeated behaviours stems from what are called the GUNAS in Sanskrit metaphysics.

The literal meaning of Sanskrit word gunas is ‘knots’ — and thus refers to modes of human behaviour that are formed from the accumulations of our own thoughts and acts, and which bind & tie us, weaving our consciousness into the temporal illusory hologram. We create these knots over countless lifetimes as we pass through the endless Cycles of Time. I have explained the gunas in detail in previous articles and include the links below.
 

“What you wish not to do, through delusion, you shall do…”
 

The gunas are our own creation and are the rather Borg-like modes of our inclinations, proclivities, and compulsions that form our genetic programming, our individual human nature. Compelled as we are by our own ‘natures’ we are driven to repeating patterns that draw us to certain experiences, to particular groups of people, perhaps ancestral links, and even to nationalities, races, and religious affinities. Most of us have no idea how controlled we are by our own programming mechanisms, and thus most remain unconscious as we wander from one life time to another.

We are all compelled by our gunas. The Sanskrit texts teach that in fact we are powerless to act against our own natures. In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna tells Arjuna in spite of his temporary reluctance to do so, Arjuna will fight, because he is a Rajasic warrior and thus fighting is his nature.

“What you wish not to do, through delusion,
You shall do that
Against your will, Arjuna,
Bound by your own karma, born of your own material nature.”

Our free will resides solely in Enlightenment, in the observation of and non-attachment to our habitual tendencies and compulsions. We become ‘the observer, observing the observed’ as the wise Krishnamurti said. Otherwise we will remain in this brutal polarity universe, trapped in webs we weave in the bondage of illusions within ever recurring cycles, yuga after yuga, manvantara after manvantara, kalpa after kalpa — world without end.

The Cycles of Time are states of consciousness — they are simply the collective states of consciousness. Remember that we came here voluntarily to enjoy the crucible the Tibetans call the Realm of Endurance. It was our choice, so it must be that in our original state, this earth plane location looked like a challenging adventure, an exciting test. Perhaps weariness with it all, especially brutality is a sign we are indeed ready to come Home!

Many feel that there is a multidimensional cause behind the sinister agendas afflicting the world (such as the New World Order).

But it is possible not just to sense, but to actually know and uncover its root through firsthand experience. And, unless the root is uncovered, its octopus like tentacles will continue to regrow and find new ways to influence the world, even when several have been cut off.

It is difficult to overcome that which we are ignorant of, and by using information both from research and multidimensional experience we can discover the connections between events in the physical world with their multidimensional source to reveal the octopus right to its head.

While research alone gets someone so far, ultimately this is an esoteric matter as those at the "center of the spider's web" are multidimensional entities who have awakened in darkness and have been working on this agenda since ancient times.

 

They influence world events through a specific dark occult society whose members have also awakened in darkness and thus are able to communicate with them and access the intelligence of evil.

 

These entities work beyond the realm of ordinary perception, and thus are discovered only by those who can meet and uncover them in these dimensions beyond the body.

What good people are trying to go up against then, is not simply the visible outer reaches of the octopus such as a corrupt banking or political system etc., but the very hierarchy of darkness itself.

Awakening in information is good, but what is needed is an awakening in consciousness, so that we can perceive reality beyond the visible five sense limited experience of life. By doing this we can begin to access the intelligence of light and thus provide an effective response to darkness.

Many people have encountered these sinister entities since ancient times, and today they are appearing in the ever increasing numbers of near-death experiences, and likewise in other forms of out-of-body experiences including nightmares - revealing who and what these entities are and how they work.

Ancient Accounts of Sinister Extra-Dimensional Entities

Esoteric practitioners throughout history

have been able to interact with non-physical beings

through dreams and out-of-body experiences

Many of these ancient people had esoteric practitioners who were able to discover information about these entities and realms beyond the body by using techniques to leave and travel out of the body (called out-of-body experiences), just as can be done today.

What they discovered became the basis of many of their sacred texts.

 

They understood the importance of awakening into other dimensions, as it is part of consciousness waking up and seeing beyond the limits of ordinary perception, and used it to uncover information about these entities that influence us beyond our knowledge and sight.

They described these entities as tormenting people, spreading evil and havoc in the world, and inhabiting dark regions in lower dimensions which have been called,

• hell
• xibalba
• narakka
• the netherworld
• underworld
• sheol
• the abyss,

...etc. in ancient texts.

Myself, my husband, and many people today and throughout history have discovered the existence of these beings firsthand by having out-of-body experiences, either through astral projection or involuntarily in near-death experiences, as these entities exist in dimensions beyond the body and appear in the process of death for those who go into hell/the netherworld.

Demonic Figures in Near-Death Experiences (NDEs)

Whilst religious texts have been looked at by some as mere tales, the ever increasing number of near-death experiences (NDEs) are now confirming the reality behind many ancient symbols and writings.

A Gallup poll has reported that around 8 million Americans claim to have had a near-death experience.

Whilst accounts of near-death experiences in which people "go into the light" and experience heavenly and angelic beings and places are well known, perhaps lesser known and admitted to are the NDEs in which people have encountered sinister entities and experienced hellish regions, and there are many of these too.

Although there are some cultural differences in interpretation, the accounts are similar irrespective of belief, whether they were an atheist, Christian priest, Muslim, Buddhist or otherwise.

In Out-of-Body Experiences (OBEs)

These entities are also extremely prevalent in out-of-body experiences (OBEs).

A near-death experience (NDE) is essentially an out-of-body experience, so it is possible to travel to these same places out of the body using exercises of astral projection (which obviously does not involve death or being near it).

Almost everyone who starts exploring other dimensions through having out-of-body experiences is soon confronted with negative beings that try and thwart their attempts to wake up and see beyond the physical body.

This is because people who are able to astral project in a serious and objective way are considered a real threat, as it is possible to use OBEs to truly uncover who and what these entities are beyond the limitations of physical perception.

Myself, my husband, and many others I have spoken to, have encountered demonic entities whilst out of the body on countless occasions; and my husband has been able to explore them down to their root in the underworld, in the lower/infra-dimensions out of the body.

In the astral plane, these creatures move around and are able to influence not only events in the physical world, but even people's own psychological state of being.

I remember one occasion where I was with a group of people doing an exercise to astral project.

We had cast a circle of light around us; when I came out of my body I saw a demonic figure looking in through the window of the room, unable to get into the circle, but chanting an evil invocation to try and thwart our attempts to leave our bodies.

 

This figure was only visible from the astral, not the physical world, yet was nevertheless influencing all of us in the room by trying to muddy our consciousness with negative thoughts and energies.

It was able to ruin the practice for the group involved, but influences like this in daily life can cause strife by stirring up emotions, influencing decisions, and leading events and individuals into darkness, evil, and failure.

Many people have also unknowingly had experiences with these entities and the hellish regions where they reside through nightmares or night terrors, as in them a person goes out of their body in sleep into these lower dimensions. Many of the monstrous negative entities they may find themselves running from can be real demonic entities.

People who are trying to awaken in light can be shown information in dreams and out-of-body experiences about demons, how they influence society, and who they work with beyond what someone in the physical world could be able to see.

But information from the astral is not just limited to demons - it can be about potentially anything.

Astral projection and other spiritual practices, then, become a powerful and effective means to learn how to overcome evil when combined with a spiritual work.

Going to the Dark Side

This is used by demons (instead it is right over left for those of the light).

It signifies the "left-handed path"

So what are these entities? Are they human, animal, extraterrestrial or something else entirely?

In my experience out of the body, these entities are either human or once were. And while this may sound far out, this concept is actually explored in a number of our own modern myths.

"Going to the dark side" was popularized by the Star Wars films created by George Lucas, and this same concept appears in The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Both Lucas and Tolkien studied ancient myths and religions, and their depiction of the supernatural conflict between those who have awakened in light and those who have awakened in darkness, in many ways is quite accurate.

the war between "the sons of darkness" and "the sons of light"

It is the same concept that appeared over 2,000 years ago in the famous ancient texts of the Essene community (which Jesus was said to have spent time with) called the Dead Sea Scrolls.

They wrote about a great war between the archangel Michael, his angelic hosts, and the sons of light, against the demon Belial, his hordes, and the sons of darkness. Today, this same concept has been popularized through movies to form the basis of some of the myths of our own modern society.

In Star Wars the evil Sith use the dark side of "the force" (which is basically universal energy) for power and malice, whilst the Jedi use the force in line with love and cosmic principles.

Likewise in The Lord of the Rings trilogy there are wizards of white magic like Gandalf who use their spiritual powers for good, whilst the wizard Saruman turns to the "dark side" and uses his powers for evil.

These individuals who have awakened esoteric abilities, both of light and of darkness, are pitted against one another in an eternal struggle, with each side wishing to either uphold the principles of a free society or to completely enslave it.

This was portrayed in the sacred teachings of the Hindus in the story of the Churning of the Milky Ocean in which the asuras (demons) and devas (angels) struggle against one another in a tug of war of cosmic proportions.

Individuals can both "go to the dark side" as Anakin did, and also repent and return to the light like Darth Vader. Demons can appear in the astral realm as human, or part creature, which reflects their hideous, bestial nature in which they have fortified the animalistic egos.

But demons and black magicians are not silly monsters; they are people who have awakened in evil and this kind of awakening brings a knowledge of darkness, which can give them an intelligence and power beyond what any sci-fi movie could do justice to.

As these films portray, these entities are humans or were once humanoids who have "gone to the dark side" and are working according to a hierarchy of evil to control and infiltrate society.

Demonic Entities Actively Working to Influence Society Today

When cultures and societies degenerate into darkness,

then demons, not sages and divine beings,

become the object of veneration,

which is where our present society is heading

Many of the entities written about in ancient texts are references to ones that have specific roles and work together in a hierarchy of evil in other dimensions.

Demons of antiquity have major roles and are still active today, thousands of years after they were first written about - no longer needing a physical body, having awakened in evil. They are part of a structure of evil that extends its tentacles right from the lowest region of hell into the physical world.

My husband and I have been shown out of the body how they work through dark secret societies, which channel covertly through a religion, and are communicating with a very small group of people here on earth who are going through the process of awakening in darkness.

These disciples of darkness are using OBEs to get knowledge from ancient demons who themselves are beyond physical death and working with an immense evil intelligence on an agenda which is thousands of years old.

A key part of it is putting down and propagating hatred towards anything that gives knowledge about them and other realms of reality, such as sacred, esoteric, and religious texts - spreading lies, disinformation, division, and bigotry.

 

They do not want another Jesus, Krishna, Quetzalcoatl, or anyone who awakens spiritually in light, nor spiritual societies that operate for good who could counter their influence, and they are on a stated mission to stamp them out in the documents of their plans which have leaked to the public, such as those of the Bavarian Illuminati.

They hijack and invert spiritual symbols and even religions, taking symbols that attract forces of light to instead use them to give power to forces of darkness; and at the same time give esoteric knowledge a bad name.

That is why so many inverted symbols are now literally pouring out of Hollywood and the music industry.

It is important to note however, that all but a handful of people who are part of the agenda are simply in it for greed and money, forming the structure of puppet politicians and celebrities, shadow governments, criminal syndicates, and massive corporations that are manipulated by the very few at the top of the pyramid to control the many.

They use human weakness and defects such as greed, ignorance, lust, and violence to entice, control and enslave their puppets, as well as the masses.

Just as the Sith were small in number in Star Wars, so are those working directly with these demonic entities as very few are actually up to it (Aleister Crowley tried and failed very publicly), because just as awakening in light requires discipline and adherence to certain practices, so too does awakening in darkness.

 

The number of "Jedi" are even smaller.

Instead most people are unknowing of multidimensional realities, they have no interest in really finding out what is going on, and their lives are simply determined by where the war between light and darkness is at.

So where does that leave us?

 

Making a decision about where we stand in this eternal struggle in which our own awakening is at stake.

The only way the Jedi can return is if we put this struggle into its true context and allow the real warriors of light to do their job. Society has almost totally turned on esoteric knowledge and practitioners, and a tidal wave of censorship is set to wipe anything esoteric off the internet and strangle it on the ground.

So long as the Jedi remain broken up and abandoned in exile to the far reaches of society (like Yoda in the swamp infested planet of Dagobah and Obi-Wan Kenobi as an old hermit on the planet Tatooine) there will be no happy ending.

The world desperately needs people who can use OBEs to get knowledge about the inner workings and plans of evil, who meet the requirements to receive spiritual wisdom from higher beings, and have awakened spiritual/psychic faculties.

Ultimately, the agenda of evil is about stopping people from awakening spiritually; not just in information, but in consciousness, as at the end of the day, that is really what life is all about.

And ultimately, that is where the war is.
