I received a phone call from a man who told me he would very much like to meet me...

He was tall, more than six feet, slim and aged about fifty. Everything about him spoke of affluence, except his plain National Health Service glasses. We went to his club, which he pledged me not to name as it could be used to identify him.

I told him I was interested to know what a person might have to fear from a group of influential Freemasons if circumstances made him, for instance, a threat to them in the business world; or if he discovered they were using Masonry for corrupt purposes; or had fallen a victim of their misuse of Freemasonry and would not heed warnings not to oppose them.

'It is not difficult to ruin a man,' he said. 'And I will tell you how it is done time and again. There are more than half a million brethren under the jurisdiction of Grand Lodge.

Standards have been falling for twenty or thirty years. It is too easy to enter the Craft, so many men of dubious morals have joined. The secrecy and power attract such people, and when they come the decent leave. The numbers of people who would never have been considered for membership in the fifties are getting larger all the time. If only five per cent of Freemasons use - abuse - the Craft for selfish or corrupt ends it means there are 25,000 of them. The figure is much closer to twelve or thirteen per cent now.'

It transpired that Christopher was one of a small and unpopular group within Masonry who some time in the early seventies had decided that either they had to get out of the Brotherhood or they had to do something 'to stop the rot' which the blinkered officers of Great Queen Street refused to admit was there.

His reason for talking to me was to assure me that the Brotherhood was an essentially good body of men devoted to all that was best in the British social system and which promoted brotherly love and contributed to the wellbeing of the country and to the relief of suffering. He wanted this put firmly across to the public, and his group wanted pressure brought to bear on those in positions of responsibility within the Brotherhood to put Freemasonry's house in order - to institute proper policing, to close down Lodges used for shady dealings and to root out corrupt brethren and expel them. The group - it had no name - also wanted the whole business of masonic secrecy looked into by Grand Lodge, most of them believing that secrecy was more harmful than helpful to Masonry.

'PRIVATE INTELLIGENCE NETWORK'

Christopher explained that Masonry's nationwide organization of men from most walks of life provided one of the most efficient private intelligence networks imaginable. Private information on anybody in the country could normally be accessed very rapidly through endless permutations of masonic contacts - police, magistrates, solicitors, bank managers, Post Office staff ('very useful in supplying copies of a man's mail'), doctors, government employee bosses of firms and nationalized industries etc., etc. dossier of personal data could be built up on anybody very quickly. 

When the major facts of an individual's life were known, areas of vulnerability would become apparent. Perhaps he is in financial difficulties; perhaps he has some social vice - if married he might 'retain a mistress' or have proclivity for visiting prostitutes; perhaps there is something in his past he wishes keep buried, some guilty secret, a criminal offence (easily obtainable through Freemason police of doubtful virtue), or other blemish on his character: all these and more could be discovered via the wide-ranging masons network of 600,000 contacts, a great many of whom were disposed to do favours for one another because that had been their prime motive for joining...

Sometimes this information gathering process - often involving a long chain of masonic contacts all over the country and possibly abroad - would be unnecessary. Enough would be known in advance about the adversary to initiate any desired action against him.

I asked how this 'action' might be taken.

'Solicitors are very good at it,' said Christopher. 'Get your man involved in something illegal - it need not be serious - and you have him.' Solicitors, I was told, are 'past masters' at causing endless delays, generating useless paperwork, ignoring instructions, running up immense bills, misleading clients into taking decisions damaging to themselves.

Masonic police can harass, arrest on false charges, and plant evidence. 'A businessman in a small community or person in public office arrested for dealing in child pornography, for indecent exposure, or for trafficking in drugs is at the end of the line,' said Christopher. 'He will never work again. Some people have committed suicide after experiences of that kind.'

CREDIT IS CUT OFF

Masons can bring about the situation where credit companies and banks withdraw credit facilities from individual clients and tradesmen, said my informant. Bank can foreclose. People who rely on the telephone for their work can be cut off for long periods. Masonic employees of local authorities can arrange for a person's drains to be inspected and extensive damage to be reported, thus burdening the person with huge repair bills; workmen carrying out the job can 'find' - In reality cause - further damage.

Again with regard to legal matters, a fair hearing is hard to get when a man in ordinary circumstances is in financial difficulties. If he is trying to fight a group of unprincipled Freemasons skilled in using the 'network' it will be impossible because Masonic Department of Health and Social Security and Law Society officials can delay applications for Legal Aid endlessly.

'Employers, if they are Freemasons or not, can be given private information about a man who has made himself an enemy of Masonry. At worst he will be dismissed (if the information is true) or consistently passed over for promotion.'

Christopher added, 'Masonic doctors can also be used. But for some reason doctors seem to be the least corruptible men. There are only two occurrences of false medical certificates issued by company doctors to ruin the chances of in individual getting a particular job which I know about. It's not a problem that need greatly worry us like the rest.'

He continued for about half an hour to list examples of the ways in which corrupt members of the Brotherhood could defeat opposition, repeating every few minutes that these kinds of circumstances involved a minority of the brethren and that most would be utterly appalled at even the suggestion that such things were happening, let alone countenance them. '

LEADERS LOOK THE OTHER WAY

That they were happening at all reflected the deterioration of the Craft inasmuch as its entry requirements were no longer stringent enough. Those in power in Freemasons Hall knew something of what went on, but they felt defeated by it and preferred to look the other way rather than take steps to eradicate it. If Christopher and his group failed to force the issue into the open, he said, the organization would become so morally polluted that it would simply cease to exist.

But he was not solely concerned with the Brotherhood. It was the victims of those who used Masonry as a source of personal power who had to be helped as well.

'Only the fighters have any hope of beating the system once it's at work against them,' he told me.

'Most people, fighters or not, are beaten in the end, though. It's . . . you see, I ... you finish up not knowing who you can trust. You can get no help because your story sounds so paranoid that you are thought a crank, one of those nuts who think the whole world is a conspiracy against them. It is a strange phenomenon. By setting up a situation that most people will think of as fantasy, these people can poison every part of a person's life. If they give in they go under. If they don't give in It's only putting off the day because if they fight, so much unhappiness will be brought to the people around them that there will likely come a time when even their families turn against them out of desperation. When that happens and they are without friends wherever they look, they become easy meat. The newspapers will not touch them'.

"It is terror againt India that we have to fight"

New Delhi | Jan 22, 2013

External Affairs Minister of India Salman Khurshid today backed Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde's statement on "Hindu terrorism" saying it was based "entirely on facts" made available by investigative agencies.

He, however, said that terror has no religion and colour.

"Let me just say this to you very clearly that our stated position, that is shared fully by the Home Minister and past Home Minister, is based entirely on facts as the investigative agencies have made available to the government," Khurshid told reporters here.

Unfazed by BJP's demand for sacking Shinde for his statement, Khurshid said "The attempt to divert attention and to push it in a particular pre-meditated direction by some people was obviously repudiated by the information that was available with the Home Ministry and that is the context in which all these statements are made".

Shinde had earlier this week stoked a controversy by accusing BJP and RSS of conducting terror training camps and promoting "Hindu terrorism". Defending Shinde, Khurshid said one should not be looking at finer notions of what should be and can be said at any given time.

"I think core understanding is that there are elements who want to use some cover of pretence and some cover of allegation against other groups to continue on their nefarious and unwholesome activities," he said when asked about Mumbai attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed and LeT trying to exploit Shinde's statement.

Khurshid underlined that any form of violence that is propagated by extremists of any kind, irrespective of religion is what is dangerous for India.

"Terror does not have religion. We have said this very clearly. And religion should not be associated with colour. This we have said very clearly. It is terror that we have to fight. Terror directed against India that we are fighting".

He said those are the facts available to the Home Ministry on which the government have been consistently making the statement.

"I think we should not be distracted by a phrase here or there frankly. The intention, the commitment, the determination is what clearly matters," he said.

What can decent Indians do about Indian complicity in criminal, racist US state terrorism and Israeli state terrorism against fellow Indians?

On the Elimination of Natural Leaders: JFK Jr.

The story of the "elimination" of John F. Kennedy Jr. was laid out in an outstanding publication entitled Media Bypass (before taken over and subverted by the CIA, much as they did to Popular Science) .

According to their research, there was a meeting in Bill Clinton's Oval Office. In attendance were Bill and Hillary, George H. W. Bush, and the head of the FBI, along with an unnamed agent of the Mossad. The meeting was held to discuss and decide the best way to eliminate John F. Kennedy Jr. All of the participants had their "reasons."

This unfortunate meeting was occasioned because JFK Jr., had carelessly told a few close associates that he intended to run for the Senate from New York, and then for the Presidency.

To compound this threat, he also let slip that once elected President, he would re-open the investigation into his father's assassination. You can imagine how well all this went over with these occupants of the Oval Office.

Hillary planned to run for the Senate as a stepping-stone to the Presidency.

There would be no way Hillary would win the Democratic nomination let alone the actual Senate race, and she could kiss her presidential aspirations goodbye if JFK Jr. ran for the New York Senate race.

George H.W. Bush, of course, had zero desire to see the JFK assassination re-opened, since he was in Dallas on that day (the very day which he incredibly stated, when asked where he was on the day of JFK's assassination, that he couldn't remember -- probably the only person in the world who could not remember where they were that day!) as well as the night before, along with President Johnson, where they dined at the estate of Texas oil tycoon Cliff Murchison, adding the finishing touches to the assassination plot.

MOSSAD ROLE

The Mossad, of course, had no desire to see another Kennedy, especially JFK's son, occupying the Oval Office because they supported the Kennedy assassination for JFK's refusal to allow Israel to go nuclear, and for his limited issuance of silver certificates instead of debt based currency.

The plot was simple: an atmospheric bomb was planted in the tail of JFK Jr.'s airplane, which would blow up after descending past a certain height.

By a simple calculation of the landing flight path to Martha's Vineyard, the Mossad knew at what altitude to have the bomb explode, depositing the plane in shallow water for immediate retrieval.

Immediate retrieval, of course, was absolutely essential. The one thing the conspirators did not want to happen was for civilians to discover the plane and the evidence of the explosion.

The proof of this explosion was shown on the front page of the San Francisco Chronicle (when I lived there) in a large black and white photograph of the U.S. NAVY retrieving JFK Jr.'s airplane from the waters off Martha's Vineyard. The most interesting aspect was the very large canvas tarp draped across the tail of the plane. Now just why would the U.S. Navy do such a thing? To hide evidence of the explosion, of course.

One other anomaly. JFK Jr. was a civilian at this time, not a public officer. For what reason was a U.S. Naval vessel tasked with the retrieval of JFK Jr.'s crashed airplane? The reason, of course, was that with the Navy on the scene, they could proceed with the cover-up. If civilian rescue craft had been allowed to retrieve JFK Jr.'s plane off of Martha's Vineyard, they wouldn't have bothered with such niceties as covering up the tail of JFK Jr.'s aircraft.

Adding to this certainty is the fact that civilian rescue craft were on the scene well before the Navy arrived, but were sternly told to stay back while the Navy performed the cover-up.

On the same front page, the general public was treated to the usual psy-op disinformation campaign we have now come to expect from our Illuminati rulers.

MEDIA COVER-UP; INTIMIDATION OF WITNESSES

The public was "informed" that JFK Jr. was a careless, slipshod, hot-shot, showboating pilot, who nearly always flew his plane outside of its normal parameters. We were told he constantly took reckless chances, that he wasn't instrument certified, and that his plane crash was due to his ineptness as a pilot.

Adding to this, we were also informed by the lap-dog media that the weather had been terrible that night, contributing to low visibility, which probably confused JFK Jr. His incompetence as a pilot, along with the bad weather, doomed his flight.

Many months later, the actual truth began to filter out, but only to those who cared enough to do the research. Not only was JFK Jr. a very experienced and accomplished pilot, but his flight instructor, the man who taught him how to fly, insisted he was exceptionally careful and thorough. He also stated that JFK Jr. was also fully accredited to fly by instruments. Moreover, the weather that evening had been clear, with high visibility.

Unfortunately for the plotters, there were also numerous eye witnesses who saw JFK Jr.'s plane fall like a stone falling out of the sky, which is exactly what happens when you lose the control of an aircraft's tail assembly.

All of these 'eye witnesses' were repeatedly interviewed by the FBI and persuaded to change their story. The eye witnesses who had reported both seeing and hearing an explosion just before seeing JFK Jr.'s plane dive into the ocean, were very heavily "persuaded."

This is how the Illuminati take care of problematic people. Airplane assassination, high in the sky and out of direct line-of-sight by the general public is definitely one of their favorite methods, and they obviously do not care how many people die to take out their target.

After all, those extraneous people are all just "collateral damage" -- just as all of us are considered in the Illuminati scheme of manufactured 'consensus' reality.

If one is really earnest in the sense that one is willing to go to the very end, then there must be this freedom - freedom from all nationalities, freedom from all dogma, ritual, beliefs. And apparently this is one of the most difficult things to do. You find in India people who have thought a great deal about these matters and yet they remain soaked in Hindu tradition. In the West they are immersed in the Catholic, Protestant, or Communist dogmas and so they cannot possibly break through. And if one is to have a different kind of life, a life at a different dimension, one must not only be free consciously from all this, but also deep down in the very roots of one's being. Then only is one capable of really looking, seeing. Because to find reality the mind must be sane, healthy, highly intelligent, which means highly sensitive.

Why was Gandhi against the Zionists?

Mahatma Gandhi, the Indian nationalist leader, is one of the towering figures of moral authority in the world. He was not in favor of the State of Israel or the Zionists who produced it. Why not?

Gandhi, as a young lawyer, assumed leadership of protest campaigns against apartheid in South Africa and gradually developed his program of nonviolent resistance. His satyagraha (literally, "steadfastness in truth") teaches that you must struggle against injustice, but in a way that does not harm your opponents. Through non-cooperation and civil disobedience India eventually gained independence from the British. Gandhi's ideas and tactics were adopted by others around the world including the American civil rights movement.

In a letter titled "The Jews in Palestine 1938". Gandhi set forth his ideas about the Jews and Arabs in Palestine, then under the British Mandate government. Although he starts off with "My sympathies are all with the Jews", his analysis mostly favors the Arab cause. In the letter he says, among other things:
... my sympathy does not blind me to the requirements of justice. The cry for the national home for the Jews does not make much appeal to me. ... Why should they not, like other peoples of the earth, make that country their home where they are born and where they earn their livelihood?

... if [the Jews in Palestine] must look to the Palestine of geography as their national home, it is wrong to enter it under the shadow of the British gun. A religious act cannot be performed with the aid of the bayonet or the bomb.

I am not defending the Arab excesses. I wish they had chosen the way of non-violence in resisting what they rightly regarded as an unwarrantable encroachment upon their country. But according to the accepted canons of right and wrong, nothing can be said against the Arab resistance in the face of overwhelming odds.

If I were a Jew and were born in Germany and earned my livelihood there, I would claim Germany as my home even as the tallest gentile German might... I would refuse to be expelled or to submit to discriminating treatment

Gandhi's attitudes toward Zionism were based on his own experiences with the British, a far more civilized opponent than the Jews faced in Germany or ultimately in Palestine/Israel. He also saw the situation in 1938 as British imperialist might being used against the Arabs and in favor of the Jews. Gandhi had first hand experience facing British troops and the British colonialist attitude in Africa and India, but by 1938 his experience was out of date. In the British Mandate for Palestine, British strategic interests in oil, the Suez Canal, and protecting India and their other colonies far outweighed any committment to Zionism. The British had turned decidedly against the Jews with arbitrary limits on immigration, limits on land sales and refusal of the British authorities to "interfere" in the increasing Arab violence against the Jews.

Gandhi either did not know or did not acknowledge the history of the Jews, who never left the land since Biblical times and who came to settle the unproductive, lightly populated land in the 19th century. He writes as if large numbers of Jews were of late pushing aside the long-settled native Arab population, aided by British force, a highly inaccurate and unjust portrayal as is amply documented elsewhere.

And he seems to think that the Jews had the alternative of merely staying where they were, in the countries of Europe. But Zionism arose in the first place as a reaction to the uncomfortable and dangerous position of the Jews in Europe who faced endless centuries of abuse and death under regimes of all stripes in all countries. And the worst was yet to come.

Gandhi asks, why can't the Jews, "make that country their home where they are born and where they earn their livelihood?". Perhaps it was not totally clear to Gandhi in 1938, but by 1945 nearly every Jew to whom that question could be directed in 1938 was dead, Jews who had been living in Germany, Austria, Poland, and a long list of other countries, a well-known total of about six million. German Jews whose ancestors were living on the Rhine long before the Germanic tribes arrived were dead. Jews in France, Poland, and elsewhere were gleefully handed over to the Nazis even when it was not required by the Germans. So it is not unnatural for many Jews to conclude that maybe those Zionist zealots were right, after all, and the Jews better have their own country where they make the rules.

Gandhi's non-violent methods of protest worked for him in India against the relatively civilized British, but would similar methods have turned the tide of the Holocaust? If anything, Jews now believe that violent resistence, started early on might have made a difference.

Gandhi says, in a quote beloved by supporters of the Palestinian Arabs:
Palestine belongs to the Arabs in the same sense that England belongs to the English or France to the French. It is wrong and inhuman to impose the Jews on the Arabs... Surely it would be a crime against humanity to reduce the proud Arabs so that Palestine can be restored to the Jews partly or wholly as their national home.

Unfortunately for the logic of the conclusion, the first sentence could be truthfully written "Palestine belongs to the Jews in the same sense that England belongs to the English or France to the French." Regardless of Gandhi's opinion, the Jews have a well-documented stronger claim to the land of "Palestine" than the Arabs, based on both ancient heritage and modern history. So why not conclude that it would be wrong to forbid the return of Jews to join their brethern in their ancient homeland? Gandhi could have said, with better factual support:
Surely it would be a crime against humanity to prohibit the Jews so that Palestine can be underutilized by a small number of modern Arab immigrants?

Gandhi's remarks about Zionists entering Palestine "under the shadow of the British gun" come straight from Gandhi's own struggle in the British colonies. But his facts are out of date. By the late 1930's British policy had reversed and was holding Jewish immigration to intolerably small numbers given developments in Europe. It was British insistance on keeping Jewish refugees out of Palestine as they tried to flee the Nazis, and later British internment of DP refugees after the war in British camps as filthy and disgusting as the Nazi concentration camps, that turned a small minority of the Jews toward terrorism. So the point should be that the Arabs could have tried to "amicably settle the issues between the two parties" instead of using "the help of the British bayonet."

Paul Power, Gandhi biographer, says four factors influenced Gandhi's position on Zionism:
He was sensitive about the ideas of Muslim Indians who were anti-Zionists because of their sympathy for Muslim Middle Eastern Arabs opposed to the Jewish National Home

He objected to any Zionist methods inconsistent with his way of non-violence

He found Zionism contrary to his pluralistic nationalism, which excludes the establishment of any State based solely or mainly on one religion

He apparently believed it imprudent to complicate his relations with the British, who held the mandate in Palestine

Martin Buber, the Jewish philosopher, questioned Gandhi on Arab "ownership" of Palestine:
By what means did the Arabs attain to the right of ownership in Palestine? Surely by conquest and, in fact, a conquest followed by settlement. . . . Settlement by force of conquest justifies for you a right of ownership of Palestine; whereas a settlement such as the Jewish one [at the time of writing, by peaceful means] . . . does not justify, in your opinion, any participation in this right of possession. Such logic necessarily justifies possession based on conquest-settlement after a number of generations, and we are reminded that the Jews’ ancestors originally took the land by conquest and settlement too; also that they were forcibly expelled from it.

In other words, by Gandhi's own criteria the Jews have a superior claim to the land, a claim obscured by the Jews' forcible expulsion in the past, an event now held against them. But even if the entire history before 1850 is ignored, Gandhi does not recognize that Palestine is not India and the Zionists are not the British. In the mid-19th century Palestine was a lightly populated, backwater province of the Ottoman Empire with both Arabs and Jews as long-time residents. European Jews came slowly, bought land for development and built a modern state. Arabs at first benefited from the modernization brought by the Zionists, but eventually turned against them and used violence in the name of pan-Arabism and later the newly minted idea of a Palestinian Arab state. Gandhi's analysis does not grapple with this narrative but rather tries to fit Gandhi's life experience in other countries to the facts in Palestine.

After gaining independence, India adopted an ambiguous policy towards Israel; deciding on a half-hearted delayed recognition of the Jewish state but refusing to establish full diplomatic relations. The unfinished agenda of Kashmir, Nehru's dream of leading a non-aligned bloc and the existence of a post-partition traumatised Muslim minority in India caused Delhi to view any positive gesture towards Israel as harmful to its vital interests, despite the failure of the Arabs to reciprocate during India's wars with China (1962) and Pakistan (1965 and 1971), growing public dissension, and the formation of the pro-Israel Janata government. If the price for making the Arabs happy was to refuse establishing full diplomatic relations with Jerusalem and criticise Israel at various international forums, the Indian leadership showed no hesitation to pay it.

With the change in the international balance of power after the 1991 Gulf War and the disintegration of the Soviet Union, India gradually began to identify Indian political and economic interests with the West. In this changed atmosphere, India and Israel finally found the opportunity to normalize their relations. Today, there is a strong partnership between the countries on many levels including important technological, trade, and educational developments of significance to both countries.

US national security set for de-Israelization?

The current nominee for US Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, and new CIA Director nominee, John Brennan, are apparently being tasked with “undoing” years of disastrous interference in US defense and intelligence functions, cited by Hagel as “political in nature,” in order to restore a semblance of American control over its national security.

Intelligence insiders cite Hagel for standing up to Bush advisor Karl Rove and former Vice President Dick Cheney, when their actions led to not only the use of America’s defense, intelligence and justice systems for private gain (drug dealing) and cheap politics but, in fact, giving full and absolute control over all military and intelligence functions to the Likudists in Israel.

The result of this disastrous turn of events was more than just 9/11 and two wars. In truth, the CIA has been gutted and turned over to foreign control, other agencies crippled and the Department of Homeland Security and, to a lesser extent, the FBI, have become little more than Mossad “front” organizations.

The most controversial appointment since the Israel lobby took control of America’s government, some say 1967, some use dates as late as 1972, has been the nomination of Senator Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense by President Obama.

Despite the fact that Hagel is a Republican and will be the first enlisted combat veteran ever to serve as “Sec Def.,” something the military has prayed for, at the behest of the Israel lobby, their Neocon acolytes and specific criminal elements within the world financial community, a massive effort to attack and discredit Hagel has taken on steam.

Hagel’s famous statement, “I am a United States senator, not an Israeli senator,” is being portrayed by “friends of Israel,” including nearly every member of the Republican Party at every level in the US, as “treasonous.”

The spoof publication, “The Onion,” published the following satirical statement:

“JERUSALEM-Top-ranking government officials in Jerusalem confirmed Tuesday that Israel would exercise its longstanding, constitutionally granted veto power over American policy if U.S. lawmakers confirmed retired congressman Chuck Hagel as the United States’ next Secretary of Defense. ‘In light of Mr. Hagel’s worrying remarks on Israeli-Palestinian relations and questionable classification of Israeli interests as ‘the Jewish lobby,’ we consider him a highly inappropriate choice for Defense Secretary who stands far out of line with our national priorities, and therefore we are prepared to swiftly and resolutely use our official veto power over this U.S. action,’ said Israeli ‘ spokesperson Mark Regev of the legal maneuver that … [Israel] has employed to block U.S. Cabinet nominees, U.S. legislation, U.S. international relations, and U.S. domestic policy over 1,400 times… ‘Because congress does not possess the necessary nine-tenths majority to override an Israeli veto, they’ll have no choice but to head back to the drawing board and provide a Defense Secretary whom we find more suitable.’

Sources confirmed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had sent the White House a list of three individuals the Israeli leader considered appropriate to head the American military from which U.S. President Barack Obama could choose.”

There is a nasty reality behind the humor of The Onion. The reality involves intelligence disasters well beyond the admitted failures the US has in the area of human intelligence.

During the Bush administration, all efforts were made to use only technology-based intelligence sources, signals interception, satellites, drones, and use only minimal “human intelligence,” generally unreliable informants often as not “handed” to us by Israel or drug cartels.

In truth, the “market” for real intelligence “dried up.” No one in the Bush administration, which included the “gutted” Pentagon, run by the dregs of the service academies, “Dispensationalists” (Apocalypse worshipers), Freemasons and those paid by or blackmailed by Israel.

With the White House staffed by Israeli citizens and Homeland Security, with the courts stacked with crooked judges, bought by campaign contributions from drug cartels, laundered through “Citizens United,” there may well not be enough America to save.

The initial move, by the Defense Intelligence Agency, is to put into the field up to 2000 intelligence assets, which they say will be trained by the CIA.

Congress prohibits the DIA from active involvement in clandestine operation, “black ops,” rendition, assassination and such.

The DIA would, should they choose to carefully follow their mandate, be limited to intelligence gathering alone.

However, this move is more than just a vote of “no confidence” for the CIA. It is open admission that Bush-era policies, torture, rendition and reliance on Israeli assets, assets with an agenda often inconsistent with US security, have led to disaster.

Brennan’s task at CIA will be the most daunting of all. It will be his task to disassemble the “cult of deception” that former Vice President Cheney built around the Joint Special Operations Command, a “hijacked” filtering group and genuinely rogue command, outside any oversight, Pentagon, Congress, even the commander in Chief, and which is now seen as responsible for the great intelligence failures, responsible for the war crimes and, moreover, responsible for two failed wars.

A greater unspoken and seemingly unaddressed threat is that of the drug cartels, those from Mexico, Central America and the Southern Hemisphere and the world’s heroin trade, grown up around the US occupation of Afghanistan, not just heroin but marijuana, hashish and other drugs as well.

The influx of drugs, the inflow of cash and the penetration of financial organization and political parties, particularly the GOP, has made this unaddressed aspect of intelligence failure a particular threat.

Were investigations to tie the drug cartels to the Bush White House, much would be explained and much understood.

We would then see how official policy as outlined in Afghanistan under Special Envoy Richard Holbrooke, could openly advocate narcotics trade as a desirable methodology for US support.

No effort has yet to be made to admit the threat of corruption or, more importantly, to outline the horrific damage that drug corruption has already had at nearly every level of American existence, from military, intelligence, justice and courts and, especially Congress, the presidency and the powerful financial oligarchies that have long controlled America’s political system.

Lead among those oligarchies is the Israel lobby, as demonstrated by Sheldon Adelson during the recent presidential election. On demand, Adelson could give a million here, a hundred million there.

Adelson is only one of many, though, perhaps, “the biggest fish in the pool.”

With all governmental agendas, national security and defense, monetary policy, economic regulation and taxation, environment, those and more, totally dependent on special interest groups powered by laundered cash, often actual “dons” in multinational criminal organizations, there may well be no discernible government to inform, no people or nation to defend, only masters and those bred to serve.

Thus, attempts to make intelligence agencies accountable to American interests again will, we are certain, bring about significant “blow back.” Thus, we see the storm clouds gathering, the attempts to destroy Chuck Hagel.

What we should ask is simple: Why do so many powerful individuals, those who tell us they dedicate their lives to serving America, who speak of patriotism with every breath, openly serve criminal organizations, openly take orders from foreign countries whose agenda has proven to be inconsistent with America’s?
