The U.S. and EU will Collapse Regardless of Economic 'Contagion'

by Brandon Smith
24 June 2015
from Alt-Market Website

In order to understand what is really going on around the globe in terms of the collapsing economy, we must set aside false mainstream versions of reality.

When it comes to the EU and its current fiscal turmoil, it is very important to, in some respects, ignore Greece entirely.

That's right; forget about all the supposed drama surrounding Greek debt obligations.

Will they find a way to pay creditors?

Will they default?

Will they make a deal with Russia and the BRICS?

Will there be last-minute concessions to save the system?

It doesn't matter. It's all a soap opera, an elaborate Kabuki theater run by international financiers and globalists.

It is most important to remember the fundamentals:

Greece will default on its debts. Period. There is no way around it.

Maybe Greece makes a deal today, maybe it makes a deal tomorrow; but eventually, the country's ability to stretch out its resources in order to meet its exponential liabilities will end.

It is inevitable, and no last-minute "deal" is going to change the math at the core of it all.

Why are so many economists so worried about a little country like Greece?

It's all due to a great lie:

a dishonest narrative being perpetuated by the establishment that if Greece falls, defaults or leaves the EU, this could trigger a domino effect of other nations hitting a debt wall and following suit.

The lie embedded in this narrative is the claim that Greece will cause a "contagion" through the act of default.

Let's be clear - there is no contagion. Multiple countries within the EU have developed their own debt problems in spite of Greece over the past couple of decades, not because of Greece.

Each of these countries, from Italy, to Spain, to Portugal, etc. has its OWN sovereign debt disasters to deal with caused by its own fiscal irresponsibility. The only legitimate reason for a so-called contagion is the fact that these countries have been forced into socialist interdependency through the EU structure.

Never forget this:

The EU is in trouble not because of Greece, but because of forced supranational interdependency.

The EU by all rights should not exist, nor should any centralized supranational single currency system.

I would also point out that globalist institutions like the International Monetary Fund are highly motivated to initiate disaster in the EU, despite some people's assumptions that the EU is some kind of representative model of globalization. It's not.

If this were the case, then the IMF would not be stiffing Greece on debt aid while continuing to help Ukraine despite Ukraine's similar inability to pay.

Why would the globalists want a partial breakup of the EU?

What would they gain from such an event?

That's easy:

they gain crisis, chaos and an opportunity to present a false dialectic.

Europe is not at all representative of what globalists really want in terms of economic and political structure, no matter what many people assume.

It is a, rather, a kind of facsimile; a half measure. When Europe hits the bottom of the financial abyss and the bewildered public begins asking what the hell happened, the elites will be there with an immediate explanation.

They will claim that it was not the EU's interdependency that was the problem. Instead, they will assert that the EU was actually not centralized ENOUGH.

They will claim that in order for a supranational economy and currency to work, we must also have supranational governance. In other words, the system failed because it needs to be stabilized by global government.

The Fabian socialists will argue that it was the barbaric and outdated institution of national sovereignty that caused the full-spectrum crisis.

They will completely gloss over the negative effects of an interdependent economic system and the fact that a lack of redundancy leaves cultures simpering and impotent. We're all one big human village after all, so we should accept the idea that we all succeed or fail together.

Free markets and individual innovation apparently have nothing to do with a thriving economic structure.

What we really need is a hive mind amalgamation that turns us all into easily replaceable parts in a massive rumbling lawnmower that chews up our heritage, history and principles for the sake of some arbitrary greater good and the promise of alchemical floating cities in the sky where no one has to work anymore.

The fall of the EU is a means to an end for globalists.

There is almost no nation or institution they will not sacrifice if that sacrifice can be exploited to further their goal of total global political and economic dominance. They don't just want a completely centralized system; they want all of us to BEG them to put that system in place. They want the masses to think it was all our idea.

This is the most pervasive and effective form of slavery, when the slaves are manipulated into demanding their own enslavement. When the slaves are fooled into believing their enslavement is something to be proud of - a badge of honor in service of the collective, if you will.

The fall of the U.S. will be no different in this regard. We do not necessarily have a supranational structure like the EU. So our narrative for collapse will be slightly different, and the engineered lesson we are meant to learn will be carefully crafted.

You see, Americans are meant to play the role of the spoiled imperialists who are finally getting what we deserve, an economic punch in our tender parts. We are the new Rome, bread and circuses and all.

And when the U.S. comes crashing down like Europe, the Fabians will be there yet again to admonish the greed inherent in national sovereignty and the destructive aspirations of power that must be squelched by a more evenhanded global political system. I don't really know how many people out there realize this, but we are meant to play the bad guys in the global theater being put on by the elites.

Americans are the villains, the rest of the world plays the role of innocent victim, and globalist centers like the IMF and the BIS are meant to play the heroes, coming to the rescue of humanity when all appears lost.

Our debt generation by far outmatches that of the whole of EU nations combined, a fact I outlined in Part 3 of my series One Last Look at The Real Economy Before it Implodes.

Unlike Greece, though, the U.S. has the direct option to print fiat at will in order to prolong punishment for our massive debt spending.

However, as we have seen with recent market reactions to the very notion of an interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve (FED) in September, such an event will trigger extensive outflows from stock markets and herald the end of the "new normal."

Again, why would the banksters do this?

Why not keep interest rates at a constant near zero?

It is not as if there is any public pressure to raise rates; in fact, it's quite the opposite.

Why is the FED ignoring the hundreds of signals showing that the U.S. is in a recession and pushing ahead with discussion of interest rate hikes despite what one might logically conclude would be in the FED's best interest?

The FED knows that the only things propping up American markets are free money and blind faith by the public that banks and government will act to stop any pain or economic suffering, should such a potential for crisis arise.

When the free money is gone and that faith disappears, then we will have an epic catastrophe on our hands. The globalists within the FED know this, and they want this - at least , they want a controlled version of this.

The elites NEED the fall of the current U.S. system exactly because this will make way for the rise of what they often term the "great economic reset."

This reset is the next stage in the plan for total global economic centralization.

This is not about contagion. There is no such thing. It is an excuse, a scapegoat designed to distract from the real problem. This is about a concerted effort over the past several decades by internationalists to maneuver Western cultures into a position of vulnerability.

When people are weak and frightened, they become malleable.

Social changes you would have never thought possible today become very possible tomorrow in the midst of a crisis. I believe we are now seeing the onset of the next great crisis, and the fundamentals of economy support my view.

When the entire European system hangs by the thread of Greek debt and the entire U.S. system hangs by the thread of near zero interest rates and blind market faith, something is about to shatter.

There is no going back from such a condition. There is only the path forward, and the path forward is not pleasant or comfortable and it cannot be ignored.

We cannot forget that crisis is in itself a distraction as well. Whatever pain we do feel tomorrow, or the next day, or the next decade, remember who it was that caused it all: the international banks and their globalist political counterparts.

No matter what happens, never be willing to accept a centralized system. No matter how reasonable or rational it might sound amid the terror of fiscal uncertainty, never give the beast what it wants. Refuse to conform to the dialectic.

This is the only chance we have left to get back to true prosperity.

Once we cross the line into the realm of worldwide institutionalized interdependency, we will never know prosperity or freedom again...

BRICS Countries to Set Up their Own IMF

The BRICS countries have already agreed on the amount of authorized capital for the new institutions: $100 billion each.

by Olga Samofalova
April 14, 2014
from RBTH Website

Very soon, the IMF will cease to be the world's only organization capable of rendering international financial assistance. The BRICS countries are setting up alternative institutions, including a currency reserve pool and a development bank.

The BRICS countries,

Brazil
Russia
India
China
South Africa,

...have made significant progress in setting up structures that would serve as an alternative to the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, which are dominated by the U.S. and the EU.

A currency reserve pool, as a replacement for the IMF, and a BRICS development bank, as a replacement for the World Bank, will begin operating as soon as in 2015, Russian Ambassador at Large Vadim Lukov has said.

Brazil has already drafted a charter for the BRICS Development Bank, while Russia is drawing up intergovernmental agreements on setting the bank up, he added.

In addition, the BRICS countries have already agreed on the amount of authorized capital for the new institutions: $100 billion each.

"Talks are under way on the distribution of the initial capital of $50 billion between the partners and on the location for the headquarters of the bank. Each of the BRICS countries has expressed a considerable interest in having the headquarters on its territory," Lukov said.

It is expected that contributions to the currency reserve pool will be as follows:

China, $41 billion

Brazil, India, and Russia, $18 billion each

South Africa, $5 billion

The amount of the contributions reflects the size of the countries' economies.

By way of comparison, the IMF reserves, which are set by the Special Drawing Rights (SDR), currently stand at 238.4 billion Euros, or $369.52 billion dollars. In terms of amounts, the BRICS currency reserve pool is, of course, inferior to the IMF.

However, $100 billion should be quite sufficient for five countries, whereas the IMF comprises 188 countries - which may require financial assistance at any time.

BRICS Development Bank

The BRICS countries are setting up a Development Bank as an alternative to the World Bank in order to grant loans for projects that are beneficial not for the U.S. or the EU, but for developing countries.

The purpose of the bank is to primarily finance external rather than internal projects. The founding countries believe that they are quite capable of developing their own projects themselves.

For instance, Russia has a National Wealth Fund for this purpose.

"Loans from the Development Bank will be aimed not so much at the BRICS countries as for investment in infrastructure projects in other countries, say, in Africa," says Ilya Prilepsky, a member of the Economic Expert Group.

"For example, it would be in BRICS' interest to give a loan to an African country for a hydropower development program, where BRICS countries could supply their equipment or act as the main contractor."

If the loan is provided by the IMF, the equipment will be supplied by western countries that control its operations.

The creation of the BRICS Development Bank has a political significance too, since it allows its member states to promote their interests abroad.

"It is a political move that can highlight the strengthening positions of countries whose opinion is frequently ignored by their developed American and European colleagues.

The stronger this union and its positions on the world arena are, the easier it will be for its members to protect their own interests," points out Natalya Samoilova, head of research at the investment company Golden Hills-Kapital AM.

Having said that, the creation of alternative associations by no means indicates that the BRICS countries will necessarily quit the World Bank or the IMF, at least not initially, says Ilya Prilepsky.

Currency reserve pool

In addition, the BRICS currency reserve pool is a form of insurance, a cushion of sorts, in the event a BRICS country faces financial problems or a budget deficit.

In Soviet times it would have been called "a mutual benefit society", says Nikita Kulikov, deputy director of the consulting company HEADS. Some countries in the pool will act as a safety net for the other countries in the pool.

The need for such protection has become evident this year, when developing countries' currencies, including the Russian ruble, have been falling.

The currency reserve pool will assist a member country with resolving problems with its balance of payments by making up a shortfall in foreign currency. Assistance can be given when there is a sharp devaluation of the national currency or massive capital flight due to a softer monetary policy by the U.S. Federal Reserve System, or when there are internal problems, or a crisis, in the banking system.

If banks have borrowed a lot of foreign currency cash and are unable to repay the debt, then the currency reserve pool will be able to honor those external obligations.

This structure should become a worthy alternative to the IMF, which has traditionally provided support to economies that find themselves in a budgetary emergency.

"A large part of the fund goes toward saving the euro and the national currencies of developed countries.

Given that governance of the IMF is in the hands of western powers, there is little hope for assistance from the IMF in case of an emergency. That is why the currency reserve pool would come in very handy," says ambassador Lukov.

The currency reserve pool will also help the BRICS countries to gradually establish cooperation without the use of the dollar, points out Natalya Samoilova.

This, however, will take time. For the time being, it has been decided to replenish the authorized capital of the Development Bank and the Currency Reserve Pool with U.S. dollars.

Thus the U.S. currency system is getting an additional boost.

However, it cannot be ruled out that very soon (given the threat of U.S. and EU economic sanctions against Russia) the dollar may be replaced by the ruble and other national currencies of the BRICS counties.

BRICS - The Coming Challenge to U.S. Economic Dominance

by David Francis
April 23, 2013
from TheFiscalTimes Website

Late last month, leaders from,
Brazil
Russia
India
China

  South Africa,
...the so-called BRICS, announced they were forming their own development bank to assist other emerging economies.

The yet-to-be-named bank is expected to compete with the World Bank and the International Monetary fund, two institutions with power structures based firmly in the United States and Europe.

The announcement also serves as yet another sign that the world economy is quickly evolving to a place where United States global economic dominance is being challenged by regional interests.

Since the end of World War II, the United States was the driver of global monetary policy. When the Federal Reserve acted, the world listened and reacted.

Now, according to officials from the BRICS nations, emerging countries are trying to insulate themselves from the market shocks caused by the United States and Europe.

They no longer trust the West to do the right thing.

They’re forming their own “union” to create stability that the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the Fed have been unable to provide.

“If there were shocks to the global financial market, with credit running short, we'd have credit from our biggest international partner[s], so there would be no interruption of trade," Brazilian economic minister Guido Mantega said.

The bank, which is planning to raise $50 billion in capital, is expected to open next year, according to Indian finance minister P. Chidambaram.

Other alliances around the world are also forming, portending the end of Western economic dominance.

To be clear, these alliances are not monetary unions.

They don’t share a currency and therefore do not share fiscal policy. Yet they do share the common belief that together, their developing economies can foster and sustain growth.

These alliances do more than simply hedge against Western financial calamities. They encourage investors to keep money in the region instead of sending it to western markets and promote trade between member nations.

Even though many of these alliances lack real teeth, their formation is important symbolically.

They give emerging economies a forum to show their strength, as well as send a clear signal that in the future, the United States is not the only game in town.

Rise of the BRICS

It did not take long for the BRICS to become a major force on world markets.

The leaders of these countries first met in 2006, but a formal alliance wasn’t made until 2009. South Africa joined the group in 2010.

These countries now represent more than 3 billion people. They have a combined gross domestic product of $14.8 trillion, and hold $4 billion in foreign reserves.

The U.S. economy is still the world’s largest, although experts agree that the Chinese economy will grow larger by 2016.

And while BRICS’ economic growth has slowed in recent years, they weathered the global economic slowdown far better than the United States and Europe.

In fact, the new BRICS bank is likely the direct result of the Western response to the crisis. The Fed, the European Central Bank, the World Bank and the IMF all acted repeatedly to soften the blow of the crisis.

Yet strong growth, both here and in Europe, remains elusive.

According to a paper (The Financial Crisis - Impact on BRIC and Policy Response) by Ritwik Banerjee and Pankaj Vashisht, published at the height of the financial crisis, the ability of the BRICS to sustain growth while Western economies were contracting convinced the emerging nations that a rebalancing of global economic power was necessary.

“The erstwhile engine of global growth, the USA, was weakening and the new growth poles were emerging,” they wrote. BRICS were “one of [the] emerging growth poles that caught the imagination of the world.”

BRICS Not Alone

In the wake of the global financial crisis, other countries are seeking alliances that will make them less reliant on the West.

During the financial crisis, Japan, China and South Korea created a $120 billion emergency loan fund to shore up Asian nations’ finances. The Association of Southeast Asian Nations, comprised of 10 countries from that part of the world, is also experiencing a period of robust growth.

New partnerships are also emerging closer to home.

Álvaro Uribe, former president of Colombia, recently told The Fiscal Times that his country is considering entering into a formal economic alliance with Mexico, Peru and Chile, creating a bloc with a GDP of $2.2 trillion.

These countries have already agreed to eliminate trade tariffs on 90 percent of the goods exchanged between them.

But the biggest challenge to U.S. dominance remains in Asia.

The Pentagon is shifting its strategy to confront potential rivals in that part of the world. And U.S. companies are gaining ground in huge consumer markets in China, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Even the National Basketball Association recognizes that the key to future success is breaking the Asian market.

It has spent $1.5 billion on a sports and entertainment complex outside of Beijing, and has sent Chinese-American star Jeremy Lin on a tour of the country.

"We are at a critical juncture in human history, which could lead to widely contrasting futures," Christopher Kojm, National Intelligence Council chair wrote in a recent intelligence appraisal.

"By 2030, Asia will be well on its way to returning to being the world's powerhouse, just as it was before 1500."

Anthropologist Dr. David Graeber on the Necessity of a Debt Jubilee

David Graeber is an American anthropologist and Professor in Social Anthropology at Goldsmiths University of London. Before that he was the assistant professor of anthropology at Yale University. Graeber has been involved in social and political activism, including the protests against the World Economic Forum in New York City in 2002 and is an avid supporter of Occupy Wall Street.

Mr. Graeber is the author of ‘Debt: The First 5,000 Years’. What follows is a brief description from his book listing at Amazon.com

Debt: The First 5,000 Years is a fascinating chronicle of this little known history—as well as how it has defined human history, and what it means for the credit crisis of the present day and the future of our economy.

Every economics textbook says the same thing: Money was invented to replace onerous and complicated barter systems—to relieve ancient people from having to haul their goods to market. The problem with this version of history? There’s not a shred of evidence to support it.

Here anthropologist David Graeber presents a stunning reversal of conventional wisdom. He shows that for more than 5,000 years, since the beginnings of the first agrarian empires, humans have used elaborate credit systems to buy and sell goods—that is, long before the invention of coins or cash. It is in this era, Graeber argues, that we also first encounter a society divided into debtors and creditors.

Graeber shows that arguments about debt and debt forgiveness have been at the center of political debates from Italy to China, as well as sparking innumerable insurrections. He also brilliantly demonstrates that the language of the ancient works of law and religion (words like “guilt,” “sin,” and “redemption”) derive in large part from ancient debates about debt, and shape even our most basic ideas of right and wrong. We are still fighting these battles today without knowing it.

In this next segment Mr. Graeber is interviewed by Thom Hartmann, a partial transcript follows.

Transcript Part I:

1) All through out the 20th century there’s been a tension between states and markets – free markets or governments and people had to pick a side; all politics was about picking one or the other. This is actually a false proposition as you can’t actually have one without the other. Historically, societies that don’t have states don’t generally have markets. Markets arose as a side effect of bureaucracies and in much of human history they’re a side effect of military operations.

2) The US debt is a war debt. If you graph military spending and us debt, they correlate perfectly. It’s been there since the revolutionary war.

3) We’re taught in school where money comes from: barter came first, and that was inconvenient so we agreed on something everybody wanted, money. Then came credit. But this is exactly backwards, there are documents of very elaborate compounds interest scheme from ancient Mesopotamia – credit came first. It was only the threat of violence that made money important.

When barter did exist it’s been observed near universally that it’s not the case where, say, an offer is made for 27 chickens for one cow, what tends to happen is one person likes the other’s cow and he just gives it to him and asserts think nothing of it, don’t even think of giving me anything, but of course that’s just being polite, you know you’re in their debt, as the ancient saying goes, so maybe one day he’ll say do you he likes your pig, or you’ll do something or give him something so you feel you’re not in his debt any more.

This was for every aspect of life and it could be inexact but it didn’t really matter, but there’s one exception, if you injured some body every culture has a set of very precise rules about how much you have to pay for the loss or injury of various body parts. So debt only becomes exact, in terms of money, under threat of violence.

4) Japan as an obligation society keeps very accurate records of all gifts so they can be repaid, something that can be found in many tribal societies. Even in medieval England money was a very rare thing and we find nearly everything was on credit and this debt to one another tented to be a societal bind that made a community, so debt was seen as a good thing for everybody to have. Obligation debt to a fuedal ruler though, although accepted, was not really felt the same way. It wasn’t really liked.

5) Potlatch societies of the indigenous Americans had it that the person that gave away the most was revered the most. This was in contrast to the European way of doing things and there were some tremendous disasters because of this. But anthropologists that study barter cultures note that it’s seldom if ever exact, and in fact more often than not one person is always trying to outdo the other in being generous.

The most extreme case is an ancient Greek record of a Celtic society where feudal leaders would give each other great gives trying to outdo each other, and this maybe out of kindness or it might be a way of intimidating somebody you don’t actually like, because they now had to respond with an even larger gift and if somebody had given you a gift so great you could never repay it your only choice was to kill yourself.

6) In most stateless societies, when you do have money it’s not usually used to buy things; sometimes it is, but it’s not usually its major function, it’s usually used to rearrange social arrangements: arrange marriages, to settle feuds, and as a general social lubricant between family and friends – you’d visit your uncle he’d give you something, you’d give him something back. Marriages tended to be big deals between families and lots of things were exchanged. There’s a debate in anthropology, is this just buying brides to which the obvious answer is no, you can’t resell them. In commercial societies where debt is exact, peoples children have been taken way from them and prostitution ends up being a viable way to reduce an exact debt.

Transcript Part 2:

1) The post WWII compact between society and the bankers was torn to shreds by Thatcher and Reagan. After WWII there was kind of a deal, sometimes called the Keynesian deal: you don’t become communists and we’ll give you free medical (except in the US), social security, the welfare state, education for your children. Just don’t become communists. This compact was between males of the white working class, and the people that actually run the system; citizenship rights were tied to economic rights.

Key to that was not only a recognition of labor unions, but that increase in productivity meant an increase in wages and this was true from about 1945 to about 1975. This fell apart in the 70s because of a crisis of inclusion. People besides while males now wanted this – minorities, women, people in the global south but the system didn’t have enough resources and it all crashed and the system could no longer provide a reasonable living to all those people according to the deal they’d set up.

So now you have a crisis, you have oil shock, then you have financial shock, you have certain visions of ecological catastrophe. The rise of (what is called everywhere but America) neoliberalism typified by Reagan and Thatcher says, ok new deal, no longer is a rise in productivity tied to a rise wages, no longer are economic rights tied to citizenship rights (which meant everybody in the world could have political rights now because it didn’t matter) but… you get credit.

There’s a huge outpouring of various types of credit: 401K, mortgage – everybody should have a house – and the same thing happened in the global south: micro-credit was going to save the third world. And then again there reached a crisis of inclusion: that’s what the sub-prime mortgage really is, giving cheap credit to people everybody knew could never pay it back, then they began gambling with that, an the whole thing turned into a giant bubble. Which throws us back into the same structural crisis we had in the seventies: oil shock, followed by financial shock, visions of ecological catastrophe, so the question is, what’s next?

2) The nouveau riche kept wanting a successively larger slice of the pie, and since Reagan they’ve been getting it, which caused a complete lock on class mobility and now America is no longer the land of opportunity an rests with the UK at the bottom of the list, with countries like Sweden having far greater class mobility.

3) The only viable strategy is the biblical concept of jubilee, the re-balancing of everything. The Saudis just did it, that was their reaction to the Arab spring. They simply canceled all debts.

4) Throughout history we’ve switched back and forth between periods of credit, and periods of cash money. Periods dominated by credit, such as the one we’ve been living in since Nixon decoupled gold in 1972,

5) Societies in a credit based world tend to favor rules that protect the debtor – the risk is always there of 1-2% of the population going mad and making debt peons out of everybody else. This is the great social evil everybody was afraid of throughout history — people would fall so deeply in debt they’d sell their waives, their children and themselves into slavery. The American situation isn’t that different, we just rent ourselves out instead of selling ourselves into slavery – the ancient Greeks would not have noticed that much of a difference.

So they set up some mechanism to make sure things didn’t go cray and everything broke down and one of these mechanisms was jubilee. The Mesopotamians used to do this, they’d say “ok, all debts are canceled, all the debt peons go home.”. In the Bible it was a fixed rule, every 7 years and every 49 years. And nothing bad happened, the economy kept right on growing.

6) In a credit society money isn’t a thing, it’s just a bunch of promises we make to each other and if democracy is to mean anything, we can renegotiate it. What we found out in 2008 is if you’re AIG of Bank of America you can make trillions of dollars of debt just go away by renegotiating. Now that we know they can do it for the big players, lets do it for everybody and start over.

7) The amount of money paid out to the banks was 100% of GDP, it certainly would have paid off all the mortgages in America, and by doing that you bail out the banks as a side effect.

8) Saudi can do this – they have a king, but in America there’s a long way to go because both political parties have been captured by the banks and the class of hedge fund managers and so on, so in a way almost all large corporations are financial corporations. It’s a problem. It seems we need some sort of bottom up social movement. The one hopeful thing to point out is that in the past that is always what has happened in periods of virtual credit money, so it will happen eventually.

And you can sees stirrings of it in Italy, Greece and Spain, people are going out into the plazas and saying we don’t approve of any of the political parties and that we want to start over and that we need a conceptual break and a financial break. Iceland did it and they’re doing great, the decided to not pay off their banksters, whereas Ireland did pay them off and they’re in terrible shape. You just kick the IMF out. East Asia did it, Latin America did it. The US could do it too.

A Growing Movement with Near Universal Support !

The idea of a Debt Jubilee is gaining more and more traction. The following groups are either already calling for a debt cancelling Jubilee or they would gladly get involved upon learning about the effort. Whether or not you are linked to any of these groups please consider sharing this information far and wide. In other words the Social and Environmental Justice Community and especially the voiceless would appreciate more than just a tweet and facebook post. Targeted outreach is far more effective and far more appreciated. Your participation would be just a welcome and equally helpful.

As you can see there is wide spread cross cultural support for debt cancellation. No other social movement has such broad base support. A Global Debt Jubilee has the capability of unifying large swaths of the global population. We are talking about hundreds of millions of people who already familiar with the concept and hundreds of millions more who would readily support it. It’s an easy subject to understand and communicate.

The weekend of October 16, 17, and 18 of 2009 saw over a 173 Million people gather around the world to voice support for an end to poverty. The gathering broke the world record for the largest mobilization in history! The event was sponsored by the U.N. Millennium Campaign and was therefore more symbolic than anything else. It did not provide for an action plan, but was merely a toothless demand to world leaders that they take steps to reduce poverty.

What are we to expect from the U.N.? It does the bidding of governments, not the people. It should be clear that we are on our own. It we who must take action. It is we who must absolve ourselves of our collective debt. The world’s governments are owned by the banking establishment, thus we can never expect them to take steps to reduce poverty,(debt) for their very purpose is to induce it !

Nonetheless the “Poverty Eradication Gathering of 2009″ shows the level of support for the idea of poverty reduction, and any economist knows that the first step to do so is debt cancellation. But the U.N program makes no mention of that. Therefore it is up to the people to take the necessary measures needed to restore sanity to our beleaguered planet and the first step is to unload our collective debt in order to free up the resources needed to adequately address our most pressing collective problems. Now the question of when to do so.

December 21st, 2012

The first step is to sound the clarion call for “Year of Jubilee 2013″ ! Discussions around this subject must commence in earnest about how to best go about the process of self absolved debt cancellation at the collective and individual levels. The most awaited date in history is a mere 3 months away. It is a date shrouded in mystery, and mass confusion, but nonetheless there is a great momentum building toward that date.

On December 21st, 2012 the Maya Long Count Cycle (Mayan Calendar) resets to zero. The misinformed have sensationalized the fabled date with every sort of nonsense, but a sober academic look at the subject reveals that Ancient and present day Indigenous Mesoamericans view the end of a cycle and the start of another as a time of renewal, restoration and celebration. For more background information on this aspect please see Global Jubilee 2012: Why and How to Celebrate December 21st, 2012 an Event for the Entire Planet !

As you read this hundreds of thousands of people are making preparations to observe and celebrate December 21st with theme of renewal at the forefront.

I am proposing that we bang the drums louder so as encourage as many people and organizations as possible to observe December 21st with said themes in mind.

The purpose of which is…
to sound the Clarion Call for a Year of Global Jubilee 2013 !

to catalyze global participation toward the creation of a better world !
to honor the past and to celebrate the start of a New Cycle of Time !
to inspire hope in action and collaboration on a scale never before seen !
to draw the world’s attention to our most pressing collective problems ! *

to catalyze discussions/actions around what are and how to promote the most appropriate solutions to our global predicaments !

* A record breaking mobilization would get a great deal of press coverage. We would not be protesting, blocking traffic of smashing windows. We would be celebrating in such a way as to set the stage for next phase of human cultural evolution !

My request is that you and those close to you consider participating in the observance of December 21st. If you happen to be part of an organization then please consider sharing this information with them.

You may have your own ideas about how to observe and celebrate and I have outlined some some suggestions in Why and How to Celebrate December 21st, 2012 an Event for the Entire Planet ! .

December 21st, 2012 offers the Social and Environmental Justice Community an excellent opportunity to advance our agenda in a very powerful way. I hope that you will contribute what you can to make December 21st, 2012 one of the most momentous days in the history of the world !

Markets Signal Coming Depression

This article was originally posted at the height of the credit crunch Nov. 14, 2008 as "Credit Crunch: Occult Colonization of the Developed World?" It appears that the Illuminati will use the secession of Greece from the EU to precipitate another credit crunch and Depression.

In "The Telegraph" today, Ambrose Evans-Pritchard says Greece's exit from the EU will cost France and Germany 155 billion Euros and cause a Depression. The Illuminati will use this crisis to advance their agenda for world government dictatorship.

by Henry Makow Ph.D.

"Economic crises have been produced by us for the goyim by no other means than the withdrawal of money from circulation."
-- Protocols of Zion, 20

How did the Rothschilds manage to emerge relatively unscathed from the financial meltdown?

"You could say that we may have more insights than others," Baron David de Rothschild coyly told a reporter during a recent visit to Dubai.

Does "more insights than others" include being personally responsible for the financial meltdown? "World events do not occur by accident," Denis Healey, former British Defense Secretary said. "They are made to happen... staged and managed by those who hold the purse string." According to another insider, the Illuminati were responsible for the last Depression too.

For hundreds of years, mankind has been force-fed a diet of depression, war, Communism, division, depravity and dysfunction by central bankers like the Rothschilds. They want to translate their monopoly over our government's credit into a total monopoly over power, culture and religion, i.e. the New World Order.

The Protocols of Zion: "It is indispensable to...utterly exhaust humanity with dissension, hatred, struggle, envy and even by the use of torture, by starvation, by the inoculation of diseases, by want, so that the "goyim" see no other issue than to take refuge in our complete sovereignty in money and in all else." (Protocol 10:19)

According to the Dubai interview, "Baron Rothschild shares most people's view that there is a New World Order. In his opinion, banks will de-leverage and there will be a new form of global governance."

Referring to Dubai's Muslim character, Rothschild said, "There is no debate that Rothschild is a Jewish family, but we are proud to be in this region."

If the "Baron" is just an innocent businessman plying his trade, I owe him an apology. However, I suspect he (or his siblings) belong to the Illuminati Council of Thirteen. The Illuminati are generational satanists and their agenda is to impoverish and enslave humanity. Naturally, I want to be wrong but the "credit crisis" may be the beginning of a plan to reduce the developed world to permanent third world status.

THIRD WORLD STATUS

In 1992, Maurice Strong, head of the UN Conference on Environment and Development, laid out the real intent behind the global warming campaign: "Isn't the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring that about?"

Could this be behind the credit crunch also?

We are familiar with the specter of the IMF forcing third world nations to restructure their economies. For example, Pakistan recently agreed to raise taxes and cut subsidies in return for an IMF loan. How long before the IMF makes similar demands on the US and Europe? (If the government controlled its own credit, it could create money without repaying it, or interest.)

According to Webster Tarpley, a "confidential strategy paper aims to impose [an IMF] dictatorship on the entire planet, wiping out all hope of economic recovery, the modernization of the developing countries, and national sovereignty" as well.

It proposes the usual form of IMF orthodoxy - "austerity, sacrifice, deregulation, privatization, union busting, wage reductions, free trade, the race to the bottom, and prohibitions on advanced technologies."

Stephen Lendman adds: "Economist Michael Hudson reports that 1% of the US population owns 70% of its wealth, a huge increase over earlier periods. This plan aims to increase it. To turn the US and world economies into banana republics. To make its workers de facto serfs. To crush competition and empower corporate giants. Mostly ones in America."

Tarpley is hopeful that the BRIC-bloc (Brazil, Russia, India and China) will stop this initiative but I doubt they are independent of Illuminati control.

This "third world " scenario is consistent with the Illuminati's longstanding plan for colonization of the earth. For example, the Protocols envisions: "There should be in all the States of the world, besides ourselves, only the masses of the proletariat, a few millionaires devoted to our interests, police and soldiers." (7)

OCCULT INSPIRATION

The source of this conspiracy against mankind is the Cabala -- "Jewish mysticism" -- which dates back to Egyptian and Babylonian mystery religions. The Illuminati are Cabalists, also known as Zoharists or the "Illuminated" from their adherence to the Zohar (part of the Cabala) or "book of light."

The Cabala currently enjoys a vogue in Hollywood. It is Satan's Bible, the source of all Western occult, witchcraft, black magic, ritual human and animal sacrifice, sex worship (i.e. regenerative energies of nature, phallus worship etc.) numerology and sorcery. It is the source of the so-called "New Age" religious movement.

"Cabalism is true Illuminism," Texe Marrs writes. It teaches that evil is transformed into righteousness, and that "Lucifer is Lord. Satan is the true and only god. That is the essential doctrine of Cabalism [and Freemasonry.]" (Codex Magica, p. 426)

In each generation there is a "Ba'al Shem," a Cabala adept who claims magical powers, bilks the faithful and lives in luxury. He is known as "Chief of all the Jews." Does he advise the financiers?

In the 18th Century the Ba'al Shem of England was Samuel Jacob Falk (1710-1782.) In Sept. 1762 a Dr. Adler published an account of Falk's activities in "The Gentleman's Magazine." He described the Cabalist as "a Christened Jew and the biggest rogue and villain in all the world." The Cabalist offered to teach Adler certain mysteries if he could procure "one pound of blood out of the veins of an honest Protestant."

Adler took his own blood to Falk who used it to paint occult symbols and the name of God and the angels around his garden. He then performed "cruelties on a he-goat too loathsome to describe." (This account is from "Secret Societies and Subversive Movements" 1924, by Nesta Wester pp. 184-188.)

Cabalism is a satanic cult and the central bankers belong to it. Our leading politicians, including George Bush and Barack Obama, also belong.

In Nesta Webster's words, "it is in the Cabala, still more than in the Talmud, that the Judaic dream of world domination occurs with the greatest persistence." (371) The Zohar relates that the Messiah will declare war on the whole world: "They will all perish when God visits them in His wrath." ...the Holy One, blessed be He, will exterminate all the goyim of the world. Israel alone will subsist..." (374)

CONCLUSION

The Cabala portrays the "Jews" as kings with the world offering up its wealth and slave service. In practice, the "Jews" refers to the Illuminati Order (Freemasons) which consists of Jews and non-Jews. The Cabalists have no use for outsiders including non-believing Jews.

Interview 100 Jews and I doubt if 10 are acquainted with the sources of the Illuminati's hatred of humanity, the Talmud and Cabala. I doubt if 10% have any interest in world domination. Nevertheless the Illuminati control organized Jewry including Zionism as well as most other religions and organizations. Humanity is in their grip.

I ask myself if the Illuminati is genuinely motivated by this demented Satanic/Jewish ideology or whether it just serves as a useful pretext/vehicle for their political and economic domination.

Certainly we are seeing a Talmudic control being imposed on the world similar to the bondage Jews suffered from their rabbis in Medieval times. Increasingly, there is a web of trivial government regulation in the name of "equality," "communitarianism" or fighting "terror."

According to the Protocols of Zion (5): "We shall create an intensified centralization of government in order to grip in our hands all the forces of the community. We shall regulate mechanically all the actions of the political life of our subjects by new laws."

Mankind is victim of a hoax of unspeakable proportions. All wars are contrived and orchestrated. Our politics, culture and values are similarly contrived and controlled. We are entering a Dark Age.

Unwilling to confront & expose the Satanists who are pulling the strings, we are willing accomplices in our own destruction.

BRICS Move To Replace Dollar With 'Super-Sovereign' Global Currency

'As China is expected to rise to the status of a financial superpower within the next 8 years and eclipse the US economy by 2020, Africa becomes center stage in the greatest currency war the world has seen since the 1930s, which is now shifting into overdrive.

Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, collectively known as the BRICS nations, are moving forward with their plan to unseat the US dollar from its throne as the global trade currency and to replace it with a Chinese-denominated “super-sovereign” international currency.

This Geo-political game to establish global monetary dominance is by no means limited to the attack on the US dollar. Instead this is merely the first strike of a concerted campaign of worldwide economic warfare that will soon follow which seeks to bring the United States and its western allies to their knees.'

The Federal Reserve Under Fire

The Federal Reserve is one of the most powerful and secretive institutions in Washington, long considered beyond the reach of lawmakers. But now, as details emerge of how the Fed secretly doled out more than a trillion dollars during the financial crisis, a rare bipartisan movement in Congress demands that the Fed be held accountable.

Zionists Funded Both Hitler & Churchill

December 29, 2011
by Henry Makow Ph.D.

When Winston Churchill was visiting Germany, in 1932, Putzi Hanfstaengl tried to arrange a meeting with Hitler. Hitler apparently declined. It wouldn't do for two Zionist political actors --future "antagonists" -- to be seen rehearsing together before the show began.

Both Hitler and Churchill were pawns of the Zionist bankers. According to historian Thomas J. O'Keefe, Churchill said in his Memoirs that ex-German Chancellor (1930-1932) Heinrich Brüning revealed the identities of Hitler's backers in a 1937 letter:

'I didn't, and do not even today for understandable reasons, wish to reveal from October 1928, the two largest regular contributors to the Nazi Party were the general managers of two of the largest Berlin banks, both of Jewish faith and one of them the leader of Zionism in Germany."

Churchill was funded by a different branch of the same Illuminati Jewish banking syndicate. O'Keefe cites a speech by David Irving on the "Focus Group" set up by Bernard Waley Cohen, a prominent Zionist banker.

"The Focus was financed by a slush fund set up by some of London's wealthiest businessmen -- principally, businessmen organized by the Board of Jewish Deputies in England, whose Chairman was a man called Sir Bernard Waley Cohen, left. Sir Bernard Waley Cohen held a private dinner party at his apartment on July 29, 1936. This is in Waley Cohen's memoirs.

... The 29th of July, 1936, Waley Cohen set up a slush fund of 50,000 pounds for The Focus, the Churchill pressure group. Now, 50,000 pounds in 1936, multiply that by ten, at least, to get today's figures. By another three or four to multiply that into US dollars. So, 40 times 50,000 pounds -- about $2 million in US terms -- was given by Bernard Waley Cohen to this secret pressure group of Churchill in July 1936. The purpose was -- the tune that Churchill had to play was -- fight Germany. Start warning the world about Germany, about Nazi Germany. Churchill, of course, one of our most brilliant orators, a magnificent writer, did precisely that.

For two years, The Focus continued to militate, in fact, right through until 1939. And I managed to find the secret files of The Focus, I know the names of all the members. I know all their secrets. I know how much money they were getting, not just from The Focus, but from other governments. I use the word "other governments" advisedly because one of my sources of information for my Churchill biography is, in fact, the Chaim Weizmann Papers in the State of Israel.

Irving then revealed further details of Churchill's financing by the Czechs, as well as the facts of Churchill's financial rescue by a wealthy banker of Austro-Jewish origins, Sir Henry Strakosch, left, who, in Irving's words, emerged "out of the woodwork of the City of London, that great pure international financial institution." When Churchill was bankrupted overnight in the American stock market crash of 1937-1938, it was Strakosch who was instrumental in setting up the central banks of South Africa and India, who bought up all Churchill's debts. When Strakosch died in 1943, the details of his will, published in the London Times, included a bequest of £20,000 to the then Prime Minister, eliminating the entire debt.

Irving dealt with Churchill's performance as a wartime leader, first as Britain's First Lord of the Admiralty and then as Prime Minister. The British historian adverted to Churchill's "great military defeat in Norway, which he himself engineered and pioneered," and mentioned the suspicion of Captain Ralph Edwards, who was on Churchill's staff at the time, that Churchill had deliberately caused the fiasco to bring down Neville Chamberlain and replace him as prime minister, which subsequently happened."

The Second World War was orchestrated to fulfill the long term Zionist goal of Illuminati one world government. Irving spoke of Dunkirk:

"In May 1940, Dunkirk, the biggest Churchill defeat of the lot....Letters between Churchill and the French Prime Minister, Paul Reynaud, revealed the ugly truth that Churchill, himself, gave the secret order to Lord Gort, the British General in command of the British expeditionary force at Dunkirk, "Withdraw, fall back," or as Churchill put it, "Advance to the coast." That was Churchill's wording. "And you are forbidden to tell any of your neighboring allies that you are pulling out. The French and the Belgians were left in the dark that we were pulling out."

Of course Hitler quixotically allowed 330,000 British and Allied soldiers to escape at Dunkirk. The Zionist choreographers wanted the Nazis to succeed initially, but not to administer a knockout punch.

The war had to be long and costly both in lucre and in life. Germany had to be completely destroyed and Judeo Communist Russia had to conquer Eastern Europe. Non-Zionist Jews had to be sacrificed so they would dedicate themselves to building the Rothschild fiefdom known as Israel.
