Astronomers Estimate 100 Billion Habitable Earth-like Planets in The Milky Way

Astronomers at the University of Auckland claim that there are actually around 100 billion habitable, Earth-like planets in the Milky Way - significantly more than the previous estimate of around 17 billion.

 

There are roughly 500 billion galaxies in the universe, meaning there is somewhere in the region of 50,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (5×10²²) habitable planets. I’ll leave you to do the math on whether one of those 50 sextillion planets has the right conditions for nurturing alien life or not.

The previous figure of 17 billion Earth-like planets in the Milky Way came from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in January, which analyzed data from the Kepler space observatory.

 

Kepler essentially measures the dimming (apparent magnitude) of stars as planets transit in front of them - the more a star dims, the larger the planet.

 

Through repeated observations we can work out the planet’s orbital period, from which we can usually derive the orbital distance and surface temperature. According to Phil Yock from the University of Auckland, Kepler’s technique generally finds "Earth-sized planets that are quite close to parent stars," and are therefore "generally hotter than Earth [and not habitable]."

The University of Auckland’s technique, called gravitational microlensing, instead measures the number of Earth-size planets that orbit at twice the Sun-Earth distance.

 

This results in a list of planets that are generally cooler than Earth - but by interpolating between this new list, and Kepler’s list, the Kiwi astronomers hope to generate a more accurate list of habitable, Earth-like planets.

"We anticipate a number in the order of 100 billion," says Yock.

Gravitational microlensing

Gravitational microlensing, an effect theorized by Einstein back in 1936, is exactly what it sounds like.

 

Essentially, light emitted by a star is bent by the gravity of massive objects, ultimately allowing astronomers to work out just how large those objects are.

 

Gravitational microlensing has been used in recent years to detect planets the size of Neptune or Jupiter, and now Yock his colleagues at the University of Auckland have proposed a new method for detecting Earth-sized planets.

 

The astronomers hope to use this new microlensing technique with a huge suite of telescopes - located in Chile, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, and Texas - to confirm their estimate of 100 billion Earth-like habitable planets.

Suffice it to say, if the Milky Way contains 100 billion Earth-like planets, and there’s somewhere in the region of 500 billion galaxies, then there’s an extremely high chance of other planets harboring life. As for how we’ll get to those planets, though - or, alternatively, how the residents of those planets will get to us - remains a very big question.

 

The nearest probably-habitable planet is Tau Ceti e, which is 11.9 light years from Earth. The fastest spacecraft ever, Helios II, traveled at 43 miles per second (70km/s), or 0.000234c (the speed of light).

 

At that speed it would take 51,000 years for a spacecraft to reach Tau Ceti e.

It gets worse: Helios II was only travelling that fast because it was orbiting close to the Sun; Voyager, for example, travels at just 8 miles per second (so, about 200,000 years to reach Tau Ceti e).

 

To reach another star within a reasonable time period (say, 50-100 years) we would need a propulsion system that’s capable of around 0.1c (10% light speed). There are a few proposed methods for reaching such insane speeds (antimatter rockets, fusion rockets), but nothing that’s being immediately (and seriously) considered for interstellar travel.

 

Who knows, maybe NASA’s warp drive will pan out? If they can work out the whole annihilating-the-star-system-upon-arrival issue, that is…

Dimitri Khalezov, a former officer of the Soviet nuclear intelligence, expressed his knowledge about the September 11, 2001 so-called terrorist attack on the United States.

The footage that everyone saw showing the plane crashing into the World Trade Center (WTC) was digitally put together by the team working for the elite man and fed to the U.S. television stations on September 11.

 

No planes crashed into the WTC; the terrorist attack was all make-believe. And that the U.S. officials were the ones who used the situation to begin launching fake wars in the Middle-East.

Moreover, I was so close to him that he did not invite anyone else but me alone to his early breakfast on the 12^th of September 2001 (in Bangkok, while in the United States it was still the 11^th of September) and there he shared a bottle from his collection of wines with me to celebrate the 9/11 event.

To continue answering your questions. Yes, it was only me alone who was invited and no one else, but it is not the main point of my story at all. The main point is that I know why the WTC was pulverized during its collapse and I can explain the process in precise detail, as well as explain in exact details any other parts of the 9/11 attack, including all seeming 'inconsistencies' which no one else could satisfactorily explain so far.

To be honest, I could tell you that a larger half of the Arab and Pakistani communities in Bangkok, not to mention Russian, Serbian, Iranian and others were openly celebrating the 9/11 event because it was love from first sight. The 9/11 attack was ugly judging from the point of view of the American people and from their obedient allies, but when it comes to the rest of the bipeds the 9/11 attack seems a bit beautiful in performance.

The US officials knew perfectly well who did the 9/11 and they even know WHY they were punished in such a manner. But they can not do anything against the real culprits, because it was them - the US officials, who did the most of the actual crimes related to the 9/11 event.

 

So, there is nothing to complain about.

What the chief organizer (Mike Harari) thinks about you now? I think he does not give a ####, neither do I. As I have told you the Americans can not even bring him (Mike Harari) to the court, because he did not do much in reality.

All he did was this: He rented offices on the necessary floors of the WTC twin towers and had explosives installed to imitate plane impacts and holes, plus he arranged for cameramen to film the 'planes' (he means the scenes with stand-in actors where the planes would then be digitally inserted into the video later, TBFWS Editor), plus he arranged for a missile with broken detonators to be fired into the Pentagon. Nothing more than that.

The US officials did the rest.

• they shoot down two planes (with people onboard to publicly account for the WTC two explosions)
• they brought remains of one plane to the Pentagon site
• they demolished the twin towers (with human beings still inside and around)
• moreover, they demolished the WTC-7 building
• they sent unprotected workers to clean up 'ground zero'
• they sent anthrax letters implying that they were sent by Saddam Hussein emissaries, etc, etc, etc...

Just compare the amount of guilt of the real 9/11 organizers and that of the US officials.

So, the real 9/11 organizer does not give a #### really. Because all the high-ranking US officials know who did it anyway and my book would not add to their knowledge. It would only add to the knowledge of the general public.

If you think I know the entire 9/11 story, of course I do not know the entire chain of events in precise details (such as, for example, the exact details of the plane 'hijackings' or the names of the low-ranking Freemasons involved in the setup, or the exact details of how exactly they pressed the red buttons and who exactly convinced them to do so and on which minute and second of the day)."

(TBFWS Editor: The 'red button' is a reference to the trigger device built into the World Trade Center foundation just incase the building had to be demolished at a future date. After the chief planner of 911 gave the orders to set off the explosives in both of the WTC top floors, orders were later given by U.S. officials to press the red button to bring down the buildings.)
 

Who Did 911?

Besides, all those 'cameramen' and 'witnesses' who 'saw' planes were not Mossad operatives, they were members of the Freemasonic sect. It is really a very complicated operation and I don't know even 5% of its details.

Though I know some people from the Mossad and from the French secret services who were involved. I don't know for sure who exactly fired the missile and from what kind of ship it was fired from.

But I can assure you that this was done by the Freemasons."

The man who planned 9/11, his name is Mike Harari (now 82 or 83 years old) who is a retired counterintelligence specialist and former Deputy Chief of the Mossad; a former friend of the U.S. President Bush Senior and the former Deputy General Manuel Noriega - the Dictator of Panama.

Nuclear Device For Building Demolition

Many years ago Rayelan Allen of RumorMillNews was told by her former husband Gunther Russbacher a CIA agent that a nuclear device was built into the United Nations foundation for its eventual demolition.

 

(And here we have Dimitri Khalezov of Russia revealing that it is standard policy in the United States to use such a device when constructing very large buildings.)

Dimitri replied:

"About the nuclear device under the U.N. building, I did not know that before, but it sounds reasonable to me. Because since the Controlled Demolition Inc. has patented nuclear technique for demolition, it would be reasonable to expect that they would promote it to get more contracts to secure more work for the future. This is capitalism, after all and everyone is after profits...

It should be noted that the nuclear weapons manufacturers are not 'commercialized' and to use nuclear devices on some commercial projects is a rare opportunity for them to get into some commerce too. So, why not use such an opportunity? So, I would not be surprised at all if this is true as reported by Russbacher.

Moreover, since the publication of my 9/11 movie, I've read even stranger news on the Internet regarding a Japanese architect who claimed that at least two skyscrapers in Japan also have nuclear devices installed under them by the Controlled Demolition Inc. (not surprising, considering that the initial architect of the WTC was a Japanese guy and he understandably brought this kind of idea back to Japan).

It looks awful, to be honest... I do remember that the U.N. building was promptly evacuated on 9/11 and it was also reported on television as a piece of important news."

Manuel Noriega Extradited To France

The U.S. extradited former Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega to France on Monday, clearing the way for him to stand trial there on money laundering charges.

The former strongman, who had been held in a federal prison just outside Miami, was placed on an overnight Air France flight to Paris, according to a Justice Department official who spoke anonymously because he was not authorized to comment on the case.

Noriega was ousted as Panama's leader and put on trial following a 1989 U.S. military invasion ordered by President George H.W. Bush Sr. Noriega was brought to Miami and was convicted of drug racketeering and related charges in 1992.

Introduction

Is the term “fascism” relevant to India? The rhetorical use of the word has led to a semantic devaluation which is regrettable, because it can lead to a refusal to confront the reality of a fascist movement. In addition to this overused rhetoric, there is another problem, the reduction of politics to the platforms or doctrines of existent political parties. This essay is an effort to go beyond such rhetoric, to understand the origins, forms and activity of authoritarian politics in India, and to examine whether they approximate to the fascist phenomenon. Historically, fascism has three aspects to it, viz., ideas, movements and regimes. I use “fascism/fascist” to refer to right-wing populist dictatorships marked by ultra-nationalist ideologies, the abolition of the rule of law (or its subjugation to ideology and/or the will of a supreme leader), and the destruction of democratic institutions. I also use it to refer to movements that aspire to such regimes, and the ideologies that propel and accompany such movements.

In some ways the movement and its ideas count for more than the regime, because fascist activity depends upon overt or covert official support for its successes, and its complete or partial control of organs of state power only accentuates tendencies that were already present beforehand. These tendencies – dynamism, the substitution of ideas by propaganda, the constant deployment of violence, the worship of power and a capacity for self-destruction – can lead the state itself towards disintegration. Which political interests benefit from this? Why does society allow this to happen? How are these matters related to Indian political reality? These are complex questions, admitting of no easy answers.

The notion that fascism may be properly recognised only when it seizes absolute power is dangerously misleading. This is because its hold on power arises primarily from intimidation and ideological influence, and is exhibited at the very first moment that organs of state tolerate or enable illegal and violent activities of fanatical cadre or crowds. Fascism invades the public sphere with controlled mobs. It represents an assault on politics, a replacement of democratic dialogue by violent intimidation, spectacular acclamation and automatic behaviour patterns. It is a cult of struggle, violence and war; a perversion of democracy towards ‘directed’ and theatrical activism in which charismatic leadership, perpetual motion and myth are essential ingredients.

A further peculiarity is that fascist ideology is a mixture of archaic and modern elements - but nevertheless, one that could arise only within mass democratic politics. This politics faces the question of legitimation in an age when the state is no longer grounded in the notion of divine right. Any state that appeals to this (divine) concept of sovereignty is faced with the problem of defining the agent who ‘properly’ represents divine law. Such an agent will automatically be above and beyond the control of the demos, or people, and hence such a polity will be something less than a democracy.

In the absence of divine legitimation, conservative politics can take a populist turn which seemingly embraces democracy, but perverts it by means of a mythic ideal of the People, of the Nation, seen as a monolith with a unique world mission. Nationalism here takes on the aspect of prayer. The more it assumes such an aspect, the more it, too, moves away from democracy. Historically speaking, fascist leaders have tended to be those who are successful at deploying myths and sentiments as a means of defining the Nation. Such myths are generally militarist in nature and interpret history as a saga of victories and defeats. Nationalism, then, is the principal ideological ground of fascism. In an era of nation-states, fascism has emerged as an immanent tendency – not always successful – of so-called nation-building projects.

Journey into Self

It’s an uncanny feeling when one comes face to face with self… and finds a stranger partaking at the table of one’s life.

And it is a rude awakening when one observes within oneself, the child that whines, the petulant, sulking adolescent, the bully, the barrack room lawyer, the predator, the martyr, the victim, the self seeking friend, and all the other extensions of the ego.

Brave is the seeker, who bares his soul and confronts the squirming appetites that lie hidden behind the careful grooming of the self. Lusts and passions that can only be revealed when one throws off the shackles of self love and dares to look within. 

Riding the wave

The recent eclipse of the moon, sun and the powerful astrological aspects of the planets, resonated deeply on my natal chart and sent me on a journey of exploration into self.

 

I set myself the task of randomly observing my thoughts and feelings over a period of two weeks and writing down my findings.

Most of the time, when I checked on my thoughts, I was a dynamo of negative energy, fuming about chemtrails in the sky, the destruction of the environment, abandoned pets, or the speeding car that almost ran me off the road on my way to town.

What shocked me was the extent of my discordant thinking, and I realized that when I was not mindful of my thoughts, the program took over and ran amok with its own fantasies, prejudices and desires.

Knowing that the preparing and serving of food in a loving environment is essential for good health, I began to observe my thoughts while I was in the kitchen. I caught myself several times, standing at the sink, all pissed off and scrubbing the vegetables.

 

Other times I caught myself dwelling miserably on debris from my past or fretting about the future.

By not being mindful in the now, I did not heed the enemy within and inadvertently, not only poisoned my food with my negative thoughts but my families as well. 

 

Predator attack

I think that there are invisible entities that hate us and deliberately resonate on our traumas when we are not mindful in the now.

 

They are responsible for the negative thought that comes out of the blue, the emotional trigger that brings depression and despair for seemingly no reason. They are mind parasites and stalk us from the shadows, waiting for us to take that extra drink or drug, so they can possess us.

Withdrawing from the program

Our exalted being of soul, the core of all life, knows the truth… and it tries to tell us.

 

But we are deaf, enamored and enchanted by the giddy world of ego and sensation. We are immersed in duality, living a lie that we think is real, the program of ‘them versus us’ and ‘the blame game’, and as a result, we are at the mercy of duality and our emotions are dragged from one end of the spectrum to the other.

 

This to-ing and fro-ing of the mind is an emotional roller coaster, a barren repetition that is impotent from a cosmic point of view. It is the separate reality of self going round and round the cycles of time like a lemming on a play wheel.

 

We become automatons, blinded from beauty and caught up by the arrogance inherent in the program.

In distraction there is chaos and to liberate our minds, we have to shake free of the choking rope of ‘us and them’ and ‘the blame game’ that slowly strangles life affirming action in the moment of the now.

We have to transcend duality in the full knowledge that it is a program, a piece of software to trap and entrain our senses and harvest our heart pain, our lusts, our unfulfilled dreams and disappointments.

The realization that we are programs in a virtual reality game and no different from any other self replicating live stock, is a terrifying thought. We get scared when the rug of normalcy gets pulled out from underneath our feet. We have to take control of our thinking and kick out the dark invaders of our minds.

 

It takes vigilance and practice to overcome the program, and as we conquer our inherited software and explore our inner space, a whole new paradigm begins to open up, and we start happening to things, instead of things happening to us.

We feel the ‘quickening’, the frequency change and a calmer panorama takes hold of our lives.

 

In this understanding the soul stirs, the quiet voice comes to the fore and the storm clouds of doubt and uncertainty are no more. This energy is the counter strike, the contrary, the resonant frequency heralding our victory over the program.

Now is our time. Reclaim your mind. Grab your dream and run into eternity.
