THE USE OF KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

OLDER IS THE PLEASURE IN THE HERD THAN THE PLEASURE IN THE EGO: AND AS LONG AS THE GOOD CONSCIENCE IS FOR THE HERD, THE BAD CONSCIENCE ONLY SAITH: EGO.

VERILY, THE CRAFTY EGO, THE LOVELESS ONE, THAT SEEKETH ITS ADVANTAGE IN THE ADVANTAGE OF MANY — IT IS NOT THE ORIGIN OF THE HERD, BUT ITS RUIN.

LOVING ONES, WAS IT ALWAYS, AND CREATING ONES, THAT CREATED GOOD AND BAD. FIRE OF LOVE GLOWETH IN THE NAMES OF ALL THE VIRTUES, AND FIRE OF WRATH.

“Friendly Spook”: UFO Secrecy

Back in 1960, just as our manned space flights were getting underway, a study was prepared for NASA to consider the potential social impact of an Extraterrestrial reality.

This study was titled:

“Proposed Studies On the Implications of Peaceful Space Activities for Human Affairs” Prepared for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration by the Brookings Institution, issued March 24, 1961, (U.S. Government Printing Office, 1961.)
This study concluded…

“Anthropological files contain many examples of societies sure of their place in the universe, which have disintegrated when they had to associate with previously unfamiliar societies espousing different ideas and life ways; others that survived such an experience usually did so by paying the price of changes in values and attitudes and behavior.”

“The Fundamentalist (and anti-science) sects are growing apace around the world and as missionary enterprises, may have schools and a good deal of literature attached to them. One of the important things is that, where they are active, they appeal to the illiterate and semi-illiterate (the preachers as well as the congregations) and can pile up a very influential following in terms of numbers. For them, the discovery of other (extraterrestrial) life—rather than any other space product—would be electrifying.”

“It has [also] been speculated that, of all groups, scientists and engineers might be most devastated by the discovery of relatively superior creatures, since these professions are most clearly associated with the mastery of nature, rather than with the understanding and expression of man.”

“…the idea of intellectually superior creatures may be anxiety-provoking.”

Has an OFFICIAL program to cover-up the reality of extraterrestrial life been in play for decades? This Brookings Institutions report certainly offers serious justification for it. A curious confirmation to the conclusions of the Brookings Institution report appears in the following excerpts from an anonymous letter sent by a ‘Friendly Spook’–an unnamed intelligence agent, to investigator, Wendelle Stevens, dated February 1989, and published in his book, UFO Contact from the Pleiades; A Supplementary Investigation Report, (UFO Photo Archives, 1989).

“In 1945, when it was first proven that UFOs were real, from space, operated by intelligent beings, most of whom were human in form, the American Government did a soft touch check to see what the great unwashed public would say, and how it would respond to UFOs and space people, if the President informed the public over national radio.

The public’s response was all bad, 97% of the public took one of two approaches. Shoot first and ask questions later. Or call the UFOs agents of the devil, the prince of the power of the air, the Anti-Christ, and set up an even worse situation where UFOs would become a real negative religious issue. What was surprising was the response of religious leadership, which was far worse than the general public’s response. It could only be called grim news.

The science community showed no leadership at all, just a super case of stupidity and prejudice.

As you might guess, the original investigators were military men, under orders from General Marshal, under direction of the President. And if you know your military men, finding one who wants to get into a fight with the preachers over what is or is not the Anti-Christ, when neither the military man, nor the preacher knows a hell of a lot of factual information about either the Anti-Christ or the UFOs, would be a lot like sending a blind person out to spot UFOs.

To say that the military seriously avoided the potential conflict with the religious community would be an understatement. To say that the military community successfully avoided a fight with the religious community over UFOs would be an accurate observation. To say the military was real damned sneaky about how they informed the public about UFOs would also be an accurate observation.

The military mind quickly figured out that if UFOs wanted to take over the world, they had the speed, science and firepower to do so. Hence the military concluded UFOs were working by other rules. The general nature of the rules the individuals in the UFOs would be working under could be projected (deduced) based on previous contact records, however skimpy the records [may be].

The military mind drew one conclusion. The single most important thing to do in the situation was in, namely sitting on some hot, highly controversial information, [and] to keep the public from a bad response… in other words keep the damned religious mentality out of the issues involved for as long as possible.

The military also found a problem as bad or worse than with the religious mind. Have you ever noticed scientists are about as bad as preachers, when it comes to UFOs?

…Scientists from the old pre-UFO school got their basic concept of the universe from an insane preacher—a Catholic POPE—whose basic concept was the idea that man is alone in the universe, and the only intelligent life in the universe.

Going into the dark ages, all societies leaving records in any amount left some kind of UFO record. In effect it was known prior to the Dark Ages that man was not alone in the Universe, and that other intelligent beings were out there screwing around. Even the damned cave and rock drawings show UFO activity.

An insane Catholic Pope decided that he was the most important thing in the universe and that the universe revolved around him. The basic idea that the world was flat was imposed upon the world by an insane Pope, which in effect made the earth the center of the universe. That Pope also expanded on the powers of the Pope, in effect saying that he was not only at the center of the universe–he was all that was good, smart and holy at the center of the universe. That Pope also pitched the idea that man was alone in the universe. Which of course left the Pope the smartest man in the universe.

The one idea that the scientists took from an insane Pope, which they loved, was that man was alone in the universe. [This idea, which,] if valid, would make the scientists the smartest, best educated, beings in the universe.

UFOs rather obviously put the modern scientist in the position of being a backward person in knowledge on a backward world. And further insulted the scientist by not bothering to make any contact with him.

The existence of UFOs truly lowers the status of the religious and scientific leaders of the world. They resisted (and still do) such a lowering in their status, particularly the scientists.”
